Katla Next Icelandic Volcano to Blow?


Is Iceland’s Katla volcano next to blow? Olelog writes that Eyjafjalla has blown three times in the past thousand years – in 920, 1612 and around 1823. Each time it set off Katla. An eruption at Katla could melt huge amounts of ice and cause massive floods. More on this here.
