Will we see our beloved pets again?  Yes, for all you pet lovers, I am convinced without a doubt  that we will see our beloved pets again once they pass from this life.

 I have began to seriously search for answers in Scripture because at the beginning of June, one of my "doxie" dogs came down with an acute attack of Congestive Heart Failure and during  the last  week,  I thought for sure I was going to lose him.  For a dog, the prognosis of Congestive Heart Failure is six months to a year,  Sammie first was diagnosed with the problem over two years ago, after developing the usual symptoms with fluid around the heart, and a heart murmur, and cough.  He was treated with Lasix, and eventually weaned off it at that time two years ago.

  I couldn't bear the thought of not having Sammie, as Sammie has been a chief member of our family and best friend  who has been   with me for fourteen years,  and has been usually healthy.  Needless to say I was taken back by this life threatening illness in my little dog a week ago, and it was breaking my heart to see him sick as I was literally watching the living breath being taken from him. 

 With my tear soaked face and sobs, I fervently prayed for Sammie endlessly,  asking the Lord to rebuke the spirit of death and sickness that was hovering over Sammie, and to give us more time together as I wasn't ready to lose him.  If you are an animal lover as I am, you will understand what I am talking about.

The Lord has been very gracious in answering prayer  Sammie has remarkedly improved since prayer..  The new Vet that has been treating Sammie, I firmly believe was sent by God.  Sammie is back on the Lasix at an increaded dosage for the time being, which has removed the fluid around his enlarged heart, and a blood pressure medication called Enalapril, which also is used to strengthen cardiac contractions. And  today Sammie was started on a new medication that increases the contraction force of the heart, which in turn will increase cardiac output, and  oxygenation, called Vetmedin.

I am encouraged that Sammie will be with me for some time now, as he has taken a complete turn around for the better.  His little spring is back in his gait when he walks.  His mucous membrames are now pink again, compared to the  grey color he developed in one day's time  for lack of oxygen.    God is so merciful when we call upon him in times of need.    I also believe that the Scriptures give all of us pet lovers plenty of assurance that we will see our beloved pets again once they pass from this life.  Many people believe the Bible does not address this, but I have found enough Scriptures in my search that has reassured me that we will see our beloved pets again, and I am putting some of them up for those who are also troubled by the thought of losing a dear friend, your beloved pet.

The Bible tells us that God is love. This means God loves all of His creation, humans and animals and all of His creation alike.

The Lord is good to all; and his tender mercies are over all his works.  And thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.  Psalm 145:9,10

Animals will be praising the Lord before the throne of God in the next life.

 Revelation 5:11 reads: And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels around about the throne  the beasts and the elders and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

  Revelation 5:13 reads: And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, Heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever.

Let everything that has breathe praise the Lord. Psalm 150:6 

Matthew 10:29 reads

"Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father."

 When God created the animals, He put them under the protection and dominion of man. Genesis 1:26 .

When God created Adam and Eve, the Bible tells us that they chose to sin against what God told them not to do. Genesis 2, 3

The Bible tells us that while the  animals are innocent and did not sin,  they fell under the curse of sin  that Adam and Eve brought upon the human race, and will also be delivered from the curse of bondage.

"Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation  groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now." Romans 8:21-22

With reference to "the soul", the Bible tells us in Job 12:9,10 that animals do have a soul...

"Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind."

Do animals have a spirit?
"The term "Spirit" translates the Hebrew word ruah, which, in its primary sense, means breath, air, wind, without which no human or animal could live, for the spirit is the essence of every living creature where there is life given by God.  Genesis 1:30

There are many, many more Bible Scriptures that verify we will see our beloved pets once they pass, and I hope these that I have put up here give comfort to those who have been troubled by this.

Pastor Fired For Refusing To Remove Name Of Jesus In Prayer

Unfortunately, we are seeing alot of this lately.  Here's another case of where a Bible believing Christian pastor in North Carolina was fired because he refused to remove the name of Jesus in his  prayer before the State House of Representatives.  You can read about it here.

America needs more  true pastors and followers of Christ  who are not ashamed of the name of Jesus Christ, and will defend it in the face of persecution; and all those who claim to be Christian need to publically take a  stand with this pastor for the name of Jesus.    We are living in an   unprecendented perilous time that will only get worse and that  can only be compared to the early Christian church where the persecution was rampant.

Persecution is a trade mark with the true people of God. If you have a right relationship with our Saviour, you will be persecuted by the “religious” people of the world, pagans, and God haters. The Apostle Peter tells us in 1 Peter 4:12-18 that if you are persecuted for the name of Jesus, the glory of God rests upon you.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you.

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

The history of the early Christians, and the church of Jesus Christ is not one of a seeker friendly, feel good about yourself, name it and claim it, humanistic, entertaining,pre-tribulation escapism rapture theories,  Christ denying God haters. Under the Roman rule, Christians died horrible deaths with torture, burnings at the stake, beheadings and so on. I have read that it was said that the countryside was lit up due to the Christians that were being burned at the stake. And the early church of Jesus Christ did not quit proclaming the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ  because God’s glory was upon them, even unto their  death, as Christianity spread throughout the ancient world.

The Apostle Paul gives us an excellent example in one of many illustrations in His Christian ministry of the persecution endured by Christians in his letter to the Corinthian church in 1 Corinthians 4:11-13

Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place;

And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:

Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

I read more and more about Christians in America complaining that they are losing more and more of the freedoms given to us under the American Constitution. The problem with this way of thinking is that when you have given your life to Christ, your freedom is in Him and His Word, and not the American Constitution, and Jesus said you will be persecuted and hated for His name sake.

Obama “Ready” To Go To Israel?

In the past week’s meeting between PM Netanyahu of Israel and Obama, Obama told the Prime Minister he was ready to go to Israel when the Prime Minister invited him. After fourteen months in office, Obama has not visited Israel once since being put in office, except  to reassure its people and Jewish voters at home that he would not undermine the traditionally close links between America and its key ally in the Middle East, a promise he did not keep,  but has been to the Middle East to visit his muslim  brothers.in Cairo and Saudi Arabia.  What’s been taking him so long to visit Israel and  establish a real friendship with the Jewish people  is the question to ask now?  Why has Obama not extended a hand of friendship to the Prime Minister of Israel  and people of Israel before now as Obama had done to the muslim world?

In this Jerusalem Post article, Obama is now declaring that Mr. Netanyahu wants peace and is ready to take the risks for peace, and that Mr. Netanyahu has pledged to take concrete steps to move forward with the “peace process” in a very robust way.

The two men warmly shook hands during their side-by-side press conference, and Netanyahu invited Obama to come to Israel, to which Obama replied, “I’m ready.”

I cannot remember a time when any leader of Israel including Mr. Netanyahu has not declared that they didn't want peace, and have done everything within their power, short of suicide for the nation of Israel, to achieve peace with the neighboring  arab enemies who do not want peace.

 Is Obama just now realizing the  fact after fourteen plus months in office that every Prime Minister of Israel has declared a strong desire for peace, and has sacrificed their God given land to obtain it in the past, only to receive more terror attacks from the neighboring arabs?

  For those of us who read the Bible, we know that as far as Israel and the arab enemies surrounding Israel are concerned, that the risks for peace means war. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 reads “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

There will be no "peace" for Israel.  Or the Arabs.  The Arabs, and the nations of the world, under the Saudi “Peace” Initiative, will continue to try to steal God’s beloved Jerusalem and what land God originally gave to Israel right up until Jesus Christ returns to defend His ownership and title deed to Jerusalem and the Land of Israel, the Jewish nation and defeat the enemies of God.

God has promised never to pull Israel again from the land that He gave them in the last verses of Amos 9:8-15.

 The Jews are in the land of Israel to stay.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.

For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.

All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.
In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof, and will raise up his ruines, and I will build it as in the days of old.

That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all of the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

And I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel, and they shall build waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. vs. 14

And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God. vs. 15

Obama Meets With Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu

Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. Proverbs 27:6

On the outside appearance, as Obama meets with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, D.C. this past week, it appears that Obama, after over a year of occupying the White House, has all of a sudden decided to become a friend of America’s number one ally in the Middle East. But, alas we all know that you can’t change the spots on a leopard. After years of anti-Jew indoctrination with his mentor, the anti semitic  Jerimiah Wright, and others; and after four highly noticeable and published hostile meetings on the part of Obama with Mr. Netanyahu, one can hardly believe this recent picture of friendship with Mr. Netanyahu is genuine. But it will do for the time being, because votes and money is all that really matters to this administration, and not Israel's security among hostile arab enemies in the Middle East.

Consider the fact that November elections will be here soon, and Obama and the democrats have seriously jeopardized their standing with the majority of Jewish people in Israel and the United States because of Obama’s unprecedented hostility toward Israel since he has been occupying the White House, who pour in an enormous amount of financial support and lobbying to get their liberal candidates elected in American elections.

The Bible has something to say about friendships that have gone astray and trusting again. In his case, Obama has not even began to build a genuine  friendship with the American public in general let alone   with the Prime Minister of Israel or the Jewish people. The way I see it now,  it’s too little to late, for Obama and friends to repair the damage he himself has caused with a media generated  public relations stunt with the Jewish people at home and in Israel, no matter how pretty of a picture he and the media try to paint.

Plague In Syria’s Military

Is God now sending warnings to and or  judging Syria before the prophecy of Isaiah 17:1 concerning the destruction of Damascus takes place?   This is very bad news for one of Israel’s primary enemies in the Middle East  and a sponsor of major terror groups who are out to destroy Israel, and persecutes our brothers and sisters in Christ.   It is being reported from the International Society For Infectious Disease that there is a “plague” in Syria’s military and large numbers are being infected, reminiscent of the Middle Ages,  and could cause extensive damage to the Syrian Army in the coming weeks..

 This reminds me of Exodus 8 when the Lord told Moses to go to pharaoh and tell him to let my people go or the Lord would smite them with frogs, lice and flies, and if you go against God and His Word, bad things will happen to you-like mysterious plagues.  God has promised in His Word that Israel will not be completely destroyed, but Damascus will.

According to the Syrian opposition in exile, the Syrian president, who is visiting Latin America, has ordered the shutdown of all Syrian military exercises due to a plague that currently affects a large number of military, especially conscripts doing their training. Drinking water and food in the bases and the current heat wave are the cause of the epidemic.

Syria is currently facing the worst drought in 40 years. Hundreds of thousands of people are experiencing food shortages; peasants have been decimated, and many people are fleeing the country. Already, nearly 60 000 small livestock owners have lost all their animals, and 50 000 others have lost 50-60 percent of their cattle. Story continues

Syrian Opposition Website: Military Training Halted Due To Epidemic

A Syrian opposition website reports that Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad mid-month ordered a halt to training in military units following widespread digestive disorders among the troops, particularly among new recruits.

Military sources rejected claims that foreign intelligence forces were involved in the outbreak of the epidemic.

One soldier reported on harsh conditions in military courses – including only one shower allowed every two weeks, an allocation of half a liter of water per day, and minimal food.

The website reported that th Syrian military numbers 600,000 troops and that its budget is 35% of the country's budget, which is about $6 billion excluding arms deals.

Freedom Is Not Free

The Lord in His Word tells us that freedom is not free, and has sent the governing authorities and the people of America many warnings to remind us of this biblical truth through His prophets and His faithful people upon the earth. America and its governing authorities and its people have long since forgotten that America, in declaring its independence from a foreign power, the Founders of America declared its dependence upon the God of the Bible.

On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was adopted by delegates to the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia. The closing words written by the Founders of the Declaration of Independence read:

"And for the support of this declaration, with a fire reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor", and these writers and signers of America’s freedom foundation lived and died to protect this freedom founded solely dependent upon Almighty God, and not some foreign islamic god, or false god, that made this country great.

Americans are now reaping the ill  effects of forgetting the God of our forefathers, the God of the Bible,  and have submitted to false and pagan gods foreign to this land. The warnings to the Israelites, who failed to heed the warnings God gave them through His prophets, are the same warnings for America.

Deuteronomy 4:8-9

And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

Deuteronomy 8:19-20

And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.

Deuteronomy 6:12

Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage

Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34

Americas all over the land, from the top on down, must repent or turn away from their false gods, and turn back to the God of the Bible, Jesus Christ.

Here lies freedom~~ Jesus said:
"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."  John 8:36

“ If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, you will be saved" Romans 10:9.

Christian Ali Golchin Tortured in Iran Prison, Now Very Sick

This is occurring far to frequently in Iran. You will recall the torture reported  of two Christian sisters, now acquitted, and out of Iran because of prayer of faithful Christians around the world.

Another Christian brother, Ali Golchin, whose only crime is believing in Jesus Christ has been taken captive and  is being tortured in an Iranian prison and remains in solitary confinement since April 29, 2010, without being charged with any crime.

Ali’s father was only allowed to visit his son for ten minutes after two months of solitary confinement, and reports that his son is now very sick and has lost much weight. Full story here.

Please lift this Christian brother up to God, covering him with your prayers  in Jesus name that Ali will be given divine strength to withstand the enemy, healing,  and that Ali is given favor with the Iranian authorities and is released immediately.
