ISRAEL: Government Condemns New Testament Burning By Orthodox Jews

Time will tell if Israel means what Israel says. The Israeli Government must take aggressive action against Israeli State sanctioned and all  acts of discrimination and persecution against all messianic Jews within Israel and Christians in Israel and prosecute those orthodox Jews and anyone else who are involved in these type of crimes.
  • Jerusalem (CNSNews.com) - The Israeli government and Jewish groups have condemned as "despicable" the burning of hundreds of New Testaments by a handful of Jewish seminary students in a town outside of Tel Aviv. According to press reports, local Messianic Jews (Jews who believe that Jesus is the Messiah) distributed the New Testaments to new immigrants from Ethiopia in the town of Or Yehuda.
Parsons said that Christians worldwide would be watching to see how the Israeli authorities deal with this latest incident.Attorney General Menachem Mazuz asked police to open an investigation into Aharon, the Jerusalem Post reported on Friday.
