Pentecost Sunday

Today is Pentecost Sunday, the day Bible believing Christians observe the decent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles in the upper room promised by the Lord Jesus Christ as told in the Book of Acts Chapter 2.
  • "AND when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." 1-4
The Jerusalem Post is reporting that a Christian online broadcast provider is streaming live Pentecost services from Jerusalem this weekend in an effort to help connect believers around the globe to the Holy Land.

The web feed from a Christian prayer tent on the Mount of Olives is accessible free of charge on http://www.ipraytv.com/.

"Naturally it would be ideal if we could bring each and every believer to experience the Holy Land in person, but at least we now have the technology to bring them closer," said Mike Peros, Founder and CEO of IPrayTV.

Israel: We Won't Bow to U.S. Settlement Demands

Judean Mountains

Responding to Obama's and Hillary Clinton's most recent diatribe for Israel to freeze all settlement activity in Judea and Samaria, Israel is again standing its ground against United States tyranny saying Israel won't bow to U.S. settlement demands.

  • Israel will not agree to U.S. demands to freeze all settlement activity in the West Bank, the AFP reported an official close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as saying.

"I want to say in a crystal clear manner that the current Israeli government will not accept in any fashion that legal settlement activity in Judea and Samaria be frozen," Transport Minister Yisrael Katz said, using the Israeli term for the West Bank. "The government will defend the vital interests of the state of Israel." More from Fox News

Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD. Ezekiel 37:12,14

13 Year Old Spells 'Laodicean' To Become Nation's Spelling Bee Champion

The 13-year-old Kansas girl saved the biggest smile for last, when she rattled off the letters to "Laodicean" to become the nation's spelling champion.

After spelling the winning word, which means lukewarm or indifferent in religion or politics, Kavya got huge hugs from her father, mother and little sister. Read about it here

Coincidence? I think not.

Revelation 3:14-22 (King James Version)

14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Israelis Say 'No' To The Americans On West Bank Settlements

It appears that some of the Israelis are finally seeing the light as they say no to the Americans on West Bank settlements and rebuffs Clinton's call for a halt in West Bank settlements, who are now using Jews within Israel to destroy Israel from within by throwing Jews off of their land and out of their homes, piece by piece; something that was first done by the Third Reich of the Nazi regime. Under the Nazi regime, millions of Jews were thrown out of their homes, persecuted and murdered, during the Holocaust, simply because they were Jewish. Like his predecessor George W. Bush, who with the terrorist Arafat, pushed Israel to ensure that Israel implement a plan to see all Jews removed from the Gaza Strip "in the name of peace" for another terrorist state on Israel's border, Obama like Bush, neither of whom are a friend of Israel, insists Israel make the same mistake twice.

Civilized people everywhere should be outraged at the planned takeover and destruction of Israel by the Americans and the arabs and the international community aligned with them around the world and should be shouting it from the housetops. Is it any wonder the economy has collapsed and Americans in massive numbers have lost their homes and jobs because of a mortgage collaspe? This is no coincidence, my friends. America is simply reaping the bad fruit sown by the American government toward the Jews and Israel.

  • Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7

For those of you who don't believe the Bible, I am sure you have heard: "What goes around comes around."

Read about it here.

  • But Mrs Clinton made a surprisingly curt rebuttal to the proposal, insisting that Mr Obama- who travels to Cairo next week to try to heal strained US ties with the Muslim world-insisting that Mr Obama – wanted a blanket ban on settlement growth.

And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Isaiah 11:12

Two States On The Two Banks of the Jordan River

Jordan is getting a taste of its own medicine and doesn't like it. From a secular point of view, this is the most just and best solution to the Middle East conflict between Israel and the arabs ever proposed. The British Mandate was to be divided into a Jewish and an Arab entity, not a Heshemite Kingdom., or a palestinian state.

The Brits and the Abdullahs cheated Israel out of their share of the land, and Israel was left with a small strip of land it has today. Jordan is East Palestine. There is more than enough land in Jordan for millions of people. If the palestinians go on to dethrone the Hashemites, specifically Abdullah II, then Abdullah will just have to deal with it.

Apparently, Jordan being deeply angered by Israeli MK Eldad's bill proposing the creation of a palestinian state in King Abdullah's Heshemite Kingdom "Two States on the two banks of the Jordan River,"and has summoned the Israeli ambassador.

The bill is up for debate in the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.

Petra, Jordan's official news agency, reported Tuesday that Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh summoned the Israeli ambassador to Amman and demanded the bill be withdrawn.

A Knesset debate has already taken place on Eldad's proposal. During the plenum discussion he said: "There are already two states for two peoples. The Land of Israel has been divided, my national home has been divided and three quarters of it handed to the Arabs by the British Empire. Seventy percent of Jordan's population is Palestinian, so there is a de-facto Palestinian state." Read it here.

I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshphat, and will plead with them there for my people Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. Joel 3:2

Jerusalem Status To Be Determined Through Negotiations Says State Department

Responding to PM Netanyahu's remarks at a state ceremony marking the annual Jerusalem Day on Thursday, "United Jerusalem is Israel's capital and Jerusalem was always ours and will always be ours... It will never again be partitioned and divided," the U.S. State Department said Sunday that the future status of Jerusalem would be determined through peace negotiations, despite Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's declaration last week that the capital would "never again be partitioned and divided."

There's a big problem with Obama's and the US State Department's thinking here. They seem to have left out the God of Israel factor in these negotiations and the God of Israel has already decided and declared in His Word that Jerusalem is His land and that the land Jerusalem sits on He gave to the Jews and that

"In that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." Zechariah 12:3 Full Story

Bilderberg Agenda Exposed

James P. Tucker, Jr. has the heads up on the Bilderberg Agenda, who met May 14-17 in Greece that you can follow as it happens. Here are some of the scary schemes Mr. Tucker writes about in the Bilderberg Agenda Exposed:

Bilderberg boys are a bunch of grumpy old men but remain fiercely dedicated to usurping sovereignty in the United States and throughout the world. Patriots can celebrate their setbacks but never let up: Bilderberg still threatens the sovereignty of all nations while fighting for world government.

Major goals remain exploiting the global recession and an imaginary "swine flu pandemic" to establish global departments of treasury and health under the United Nations. But at the May 14-17 meeting in Vouliagmeni, Greece, near Athens, Bilderberg took a keen interest in persuading the United States to surrender sovereignty to the International Criminal Court, or ICC.

Bilderberg is also setting up a "summit" in Israel June 8-11 so "the world's leading regulatory experts" can "address the current economic situation in one forum," said Zohar Goshen, chairman of a subgroup of the International Association of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). Mary Shapiro, chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, will represent this country.

Bilderberg found President Obama a Willing Wilkie at its June 2008 meeting in Chantilly, Va. near Washington. They were reassured when he chose their boy, Harold Koh, a strong advocate of the U.S. accepting the ICC, as the State Department’s top lawyer. Continues here

The Pope Is Wearing Two Hats Say Rabbis of Israel

Not all Jews see eye to eye with the Pope of Rome. The Jewish Task Force to Save the Nation and Land, headed by Rabbis Yaakov Yosef and Shalom Dov Wolpe believe what many Bible believing Christians believe concerning the Pope of Rome, saying "The Pope is wearing two hats" and "This involves a desecration of G-d's Name."

Recently, when the Pope of Rome visited Israel, at least one group has called upon the rabbis not to meet at all with Pope Benedict. We can thank God there is still a voice of reason within Israel regarding the Pope of Rome.

The Task Force to Save the Nation and Land, headed by Rabbis Yaakov Yosef and Shalom Dov Wolpe, conveyed its call by telegram to the chief rabbinate. The message reads, in part:
  • “This involves a desecration of G-d’s Name… The very meeting and recognition of him is related to idol worship, if not outright idol worship, and involves a sin that one must die for and not violate.
  • Not to mention that the memories still linger of the persecution of the Inquisition, as well as the Church’s role in the Holocaust. In addition, this pope is known for his personal membership in the Hitler Youth, as well as his statements in favor of a Holocaust-denier.”
  • “All the above is many times worse,” the message states, “given that the visit is accompanied by pressures and agreements to give over to the Church parts of Mount Zion and other parts of the Holy Land. A welcome by the Chief Rabbis encourages this trend.” More here

Prime Minister Netanyahu's Jerusalem Day Full Address

Following is Prime Minister Netanyahu's very inspirational and informative full address given on Jerusalem Day in Israel well worth reading. Please keep PM Netanyahu in your prayers, especially for his salvation and safety as he takes a stand for Israel and especially Jerusalem against the enemies of Israel.

Honorable President, Mr. Shimon Peres, Honorable Speaker of the Knesset, Mr. Reuven Rivlin, President of the Supreme Court, Justice Dorit Beinish, Ministers, Members of Knesset, Chairman of the Opposition, Israel's Chief Rabbi, Yona Metzger, Chief of the General Staff, Maj. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi, Dear Bereaved Families, IDF Fighters and their Families, Distinguished Guests,

Last night I returned to Jerusalem, our capital, from a very important visit to Washington, capital of the United States. It was very important for me to come back to participate in this ceremony and say the same things I said in the United States: United Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. Jerusalem has always been – and always will be – ours.

It will never again be divided or cut in half. Jerusalem will remain only under Israel's sovereignty. In united Jerusalem, the freedom of worship and freedom of access for all three religions to the holy sites will be guaranteed, and it is the only way to guarantee that members of all faiths, minorities and denominations can continue living here safely. Distinguished guests,

For nineteen years Jerusalem was a wounded city; a city at the heart of which were barbed wires and minefields, firing posts and "no-man's lands"; a city whose main streets were covered with defensive walls against snipers; a city whose residents could not move freely from place to place.

In June 1967, this situation changed forever. It changed in this place, on Ammunition Hill, and in other heroic battles inside Jerusalem. You, fighters for the liberation of Jerusalem, with your bodies and with the blood of your comrades, pried open the chokehold, united the city together, and allowed Jerusalem to be reopened once again as a lively, vibrant city.I enlisted shortly after the liberation of Jerusalem and I met with one of the fighters, who is here with us today, Nir Nitzan. He did not voluntarily tell us; we had to repeatedly ask him to tell us what happened here, in that battle. Ultimately, quietly, shortly, dryly even, he told us a little of what took place here on that day, and we, as youngsters, stood in awe of the greatness of spirit, solidarity and sacrifice of those fighters who fought here, and the many others who fought in other places.

The fighters who fell instilled pride in our people and gave us back our capital. As a boy, that day was etched in my memory. I remember the elation following the words of Motta Gur, when we heard the news on the radio and Motta Gur announced: "Har Habayit is in our hands!" The excitement we felt was something neither we nor any other Jew experienced for generations. It lifted the hearts of Jews all over the world.

Another remarkable thing happened: thousands, thousands of Israeli citizens, not only from Jerusalem, but from all over the country, rushed in masses into the Old City, passing through roads that were previously blocked, places we were never allowed to set foot in, through barbed wires, along the now shattered separation walls, climbing rocks and entering into back alleys – all of us heading towards the same place: the Western Wall. I remember that the square was narrow – in fact, there was no square at all – and the place was too narrow to contain the large masses, and each of us waited our turn to arrive at that ancient wall. I remember the beating of my heart and the exhilaration I felt when I first touched the stones of the Western Wall, thinking about King David, King Solomon, Israel's prophets and kings and the Maccabim. I thought about the people of Israel throughout the generations, as did the thousands of Israelis who arrived there. The liberation of Jerusalem and the Western Wall marked for all of us the deep connection to the roots of Jewish history. We felt that the dream of generations had finally come true. Thousands of years ago, a Psalms poet wrote: "built-up Jerusalem is like a city that is united together".

It is as if this song was written now about the events of our generation. Look around you and see how Jerusalem is built, how it is connected, how it grows and develops to the east and west, north and south. Jews, Muslims and Christians, religious and secular, ultra-orthodox and conservatives live here in peace and good neighborly relations. Look around you and see how vibrant and full of life Jerusalem is, during the day and night. The houses of prayer and synagogues are filled, as are the cafés and recreational places. But Jerusalem is not only a city of the day-to-day or night life. It is first and foremost a city of sanctity, a city of vision, a city of prayer; the eyes of the entire world are fixed on Jerusalem. As Isaiah prophesized: "it will happen in the end of days: The mountain of the Temple of the Almighty will be firmly established as the head of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills, and all the nations will stream to it…for from Zion will the Torah come forth, and the word of the Almighty from Jerusalem".

Since the unification of Jerusalem under Israel's flag, this prophecy has been gradually coming true. Never, in the thousands of years of its history, has Jerusalem been so great and remarkable, never did it have such freedom of worship for members of all faiths and such free access to all places of worship. Pilgrims, believers and visitors from all ends of the universe visit Jerusalem every day. Our connection to Jerusalem is thousands of years old. As a people, we have never relinquished "the apple of our eye", the object of our prayers, our nation's capital, Jerusalem.

Today, as a state, we are fulfilling this age-old yearning, this ancient wish. The greatest hardships, exiles and difficulties in history could never dissuade us from pursuing the realization of the Jewish people's dream of generations – the establishment of a state in the land of Israel, with Jerusalem as its capital. This was the wish of every Jew in exile, at every community and in every prayer: "next year in built-up Jerusalem". I believe that only the reuniting of Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty would enable us to quickly fulfill the second part of Isaiah's prophecy: "they shall beat their swords into plowshares…nation will not lift sword against nation and they will no longer learn how to wage warfare". This is our prayer, and this is our hope here in Jerusalem.
#####
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew saying, "We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you." Zechariah 8:23
