Sky 'Rains Tadpoles' Over Japan

Here's a bizarre story from the Telegraph in the UK that I had to do a double take on when I saw the headlines, and something I am not aware of ever happening in my life time. It appears that the sky is raining tadpoles over Japan.

Since a tadpole is a young frog or toad in its first stage of development, the first thing I thought of was Revelation 16:12,13, where John speaks of seeing three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon when the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Eu-phra-tes.; and the water thereof was dried up that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. Residents, officials and scientists have been baffled by the apparent downpour of tadpoles in central Japan's Ishikawa Prefecture.

Clouds of dead tadpoles appear to have fallen from the sky in a series of episodes in a number of cities in the region since the start of the month.

In one incident, a 55-year-old man who was caught in a tadpole downpour described hearing a strange sound in the parking lot of a civic centre in the city of Nanao. More
