Makes me wonder what is going on in these muslim mosques all around the world?
Story here from Fox News
......according to a spokesman for the Israeli army, is that Islamic University was more than just a learning institution; it also was a Hamas Qassam rocket manufacturing facility, an outpost, a center for weapons research and development and a Hamas storage facility.
Diskin: Hamas dealt a 'serious blow'
"Hamas has been attacked as it has never been attacked before; it has suffered serious damage and its governability in Gaza has been severely impaired," Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) head Yuval Diskin told ministers at a meeting of the security cabinet.
The Shin Bet head added that many of Hamas's senior activists were hiding out in mosques and hospitals in Gaza, some of them in the guise of doctors and male nurses.
"Some of them have turned dozens of mosques into command and control centers on the assumption that Israel won't attack those places," he said. "Their development laboratories have been completely destroyed. Their tunnel system has sustained heavy damage. Hamas is trying to utilize [what remains] so that their operatives can escape to Egypt."

Onward Messianic Soldier? Israeli Believers Weigh In On Gaza War
During these times of wars and rumors of wars, one of the hottest debates among believers in Jesus - be they Messianic Jews or Gentile Christians - is whether or not we should participate in or support the use of armed force against our physical enemies.
Verses like Matthew 5:9 (blessed are the peacemakers) and Matthew 5:39 (turn the other cheek) are presented by many as evidence that as the Body of Messiah we are forbidden to use force or support its use by others. More

Johnathan Mark from Jewish World Review puts it in its proper perspective and tells why the Israeli response to Hamas and Gaza really is disproportionate.
Israel's Response Is Disproportionate
By Jonathan Mark
I condemn Israel's disproportionate attack on Hamas because, so far, it has only lasted four days and I would like to see a proportionate response that terrifies Hamas for seven years, the years that have filled Sderot and neighboring towns with nightmares, death, amputations and trauma coming from rockets and mortars fired from Gaza.
Perhaps a proportionate response would have Gaza's leaders fearful of being killed every day for the next two years, as Gilad Shalit has been terrified of torture and death every day for the last two years in his solitary Gaza dungeon.
A proportionate response would have Hamas mothers and fathers as fearful for their children's lives as Shalit's mother and father have been fearful for Gilad's life.
A proportionate response would have Gaza's children crying for their mommies and daddies, the way at a Hamas pageant earlier in December a Palestinian actor dressed as Shalit got down on his knees, mock-begging in Hebrew for his Ima and Abba while the Gaza crowds laughed.
A proportionate response would so intimidate Hamas that they will grovel and, as a "gesture," send cocoa and jam into Sderot, the way Israel has groveled in response to rockets from Hamas, sending cocoa and jam into Gaza. Imagine Churchill sending cocoa and jam into Berlin as a humanitarian gesture after - during - the bombing of London.
A proportionate response would be one that will convince Hamas there is no military solution, no solution but surrender. They can then call surrender a "peace process," if they like, just as the mostly unanswered attacks on Jews have convinced some Jews that there is no military solution but surrender to any and all demands. They suggest a euthanasia by the euphemism of "peace process," that Israel become what some are already planning to call "Canaan," a non-Jewish state of all its citizens.
A proportionate response will convince Palestinians that if they insist that the starting point to peace negotiations is that no Jew be allowed to live on the West Bank, the proportionate response will be that Israel's starting point in negotiations is that no Arab be allowed to live in Tel Aviv. Horrible to contemplate? Fine, let there be a proportionate negotiation.
A proportionate response to Hamas, one might gather from the European scolds, would be as if the United States, after Pearl Harbor, would bomb just a few Japanese fishing boats and call it a day, believing the war would have ended with that.
A proportionate response will begin to remind Jews that there is no peace process like victory, just as Israel's decade of disproportionate restraint and self-doubt has convinced young Palestinians that their victory is inevitable, like Aryan youth in 1933 singing "Tomorrow Belongs To Me."
Let it be said to Israelis and Jews everywhere, in the words of Churchill: "You have enemies? Good. It means you've stood up for something." But remember: A war (and Hamas has repeatedly said this is war) is never won if you are disproportionately kind to someone who wants to destroy you and, failing in that, demands with indignation that you not destroy him.
When meeting that enemy, be proportionate.
Well said, Johnathan!

You won't see this on the BBC, CNN, Reuters, MSNBC or the New York Times... While Hamas and Hizbullah hide behind innocent civilians and plant rocket launchers in civilian populations in Gaza aimed at Israel civilian terrorities, Israel warns the arab citizens of Gaza to flee the area to prevent civilian casualities. From the Australian:
RESIDENTS at certain addresses in the Gaza Strip have been receiving unusual phone calls since the Israeli air assault began on Saturday - a request that they and their families leave their homes as soon as possible for their own safety.

News Media Falsely Portraying Gaza Attack Claiming Israeli Strike On Weapons Lab Targeted 'Women's Wing.'
JERUSALEM – The U.S. and international news media are falsely portraying an Israeli air strike against a Hamas-run university in the Gaza Strip, claiming a "woman's wing" was targeted, when, according to the Israeli military, the target was a weapons lab at the school's chemistry department.
Known senior Palestinian terrorists in Gaza, speaking on the record, previously explained to WND how the Islamic University's chemistry department was used to manufacture explosives for use against Israel. More

ASHKELON, Israel – The largest hospital on Israel's southern coast has gone underground.
Wary of a missile strike against it from the nearby Gaza Strip, Ashkelon's Barzilai Hospital has moved its most essential departments into an underground bomb shelter.
In Barzilai's underground children's ward, sick Gazans lay alongside sick Israelis as a clown hopped around trying to coax smiles. Lobel said that his facility had close ties with Gaza's Shifa hospital, and accepted many of its patients who need treatment the Gazan hospital cannot provide. He said it wasn't uncommon to have a colleague in Gaza call him for assistance even as rockets rained down on Ashkelon. More

Pray for the people of Israel my friends as the Jews defend themselves against these barbaric arabs who have been launching rocket attacks after rocket attacks since December 19th into Jewish civilian areas. The bias anti-semitic UN and EU and mainstream media will blame the Jews for defending themselves while they did nothing in response to the arab rocket attacks against innocent Jewish people. No other nation on earth would allow hostile rocket attacks to enter into their nation on a daily basis as Israel has been forced to do. God bless Israel and the people of Israel. The God of Israel is with the Jews as prophecy has foretold and this war is destined to occur.
GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) - Israeli warplanes retaliating for rocket fire from the Gaza Strip pounded dozens of security compounds across the Hamas-ruled territory in unprecedented waves of airstrikes Saturday, killing at least 155 and wounding more than 310 in the single bloodiest day of fighting in recent memory.
Hamas said all of its security installations were hit and responded with several medium-range Grad rockets at Israel, reaching deeper than in the past. One Israeli was killed and at least four people were wounded. More
We are witnessing more prophecy being fulfilled concerning Israel and its arab enemies concerning Gaza and the Gaza Strip.

ZECHARIAH 9 5 ASHKELON shall see it, and fear; Gaza also shall see it, and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and ASHKELON shall not be inhabited.

Some Israeli archaeologists are having a particularly happy Hanukkah.
Archaeologists found a hoard of gold coins from the 7th century in Jerusalem on Sunday.
The Israel Antiquities Authority reported a thrilling find Sunday -- the discovery of 264 ancient gold coins in Jerusalem National Park.
The coins were minted during the early 7th century.
"This is one of the largest and most impressive coin hoards ever discovered in Jerusalem -- certainly the largest and most important of its period," said Doron Ben-Ami and Yana Tchekhanovets, who are directing the excavation on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority.
Researchers discovered the coins at the beginning of the eight-day Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, which started at sunset on Sunday.
One of the customs of the holiday is to give "gelt", or coins, to children, and the archaeologists are referring to the find as "Hanukkah money."
The 1,400 year old coins were found in the Giv'atu car park in the City of David in the walls around Jerusalem National Park, a site that has yielded other finds, including a well-preserved gold earring with pearls and precious stones.
They were in a collapsed building that dates back to the 7th century, the end of the Byzantine period. The coins bear a likeness of Heraclius, who was the Byzantine emperor from 610 to 641.
The authority said that while different coins had been minted during this emperor's reign, the coins found at the site represent "one well-known type."
In that style, the emperor is clad with military garb and is holding a cross in his right hand. One the othr side, there is the sign of the cross.
Authorities said the excavation of the building where the hoard was discovered is in its early stages. They are attempting to learn about the building and its owner and the circumstances of its destruction.
"Since no pottery vessel was discovered adjacent to the hoard, we can assume that it was concealed inside a hidden niche in one of the walls of the building. It seems that with its collapse, the coins piled up there among the building debris," Ben-Ami and Tchekhanovets said.

The Birth of Christ from Luke's Gospel:
2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
2:2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
2:3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
2:4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
2:5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
2:6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
2:8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
2:9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
2:12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
2:15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
2:16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
2:17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
2:18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds

Anti-Semitism has been let loose and is running rampant on the internet since the Bernie Madoff, who is Jewish, 50B$ investment scam, Breitbart.com is reporting. This is an outrage and I hope that if any of my readers run across any of this type of internet communication, you will set the accusers straight. There is not one single race of people that doesn't have its share of bad apples and God's grace is more than capable of reaching and redeeming all of them. Anti-semitism has been on the increase around the world thanks to your mainstream bias newsmedia in their coverage of the Israeli-Arab Middle East Conflict over the past few years, and this is just another excuse for the Jew haters to throw more fuel on the fire.
Adolf Hitler, in the 1930's blamed the Jews for all of Germany's economic (and other) problems, which eventually led to the Jewish Holocaust while the world stood by and did nothing. Let us all not allow this to get out of hand because of one bad apple.

I think this is a big news story that is receiving little, if any news coverage. I mean, how many times do non stop tidal waves happen with unusually high tides that have displaced 75,000 people from their homes in a month?
Signs in the heavens are happening at the blink of an eye today, it seems. As the Lord has said, these signs would occur as His coming draws near. A pro-life group in Washington has launched a campaign to oppose what it calls president-elect Barack Obama's planned $1.5 billion "bailout" of the abortion industry.
Last week, the Obama-Biden Transition Project posted a report on its website that calls for dramatic policy reversals on abortion, including $1 billion in taxpayer money for international abortion groups like Planned Parenthood.
The report, titled "Advancing Reproductive Rights and Health in a New Administration," also calls for a 133-percent increase in funding for the Title X program, which funds Planned Parenthood clinics across the country.More

While I am not in agreement with everything Rebbetzin says, what I found so extraordinary as I read the comments of Rebbetzin are the descriptive signs she gives, as an orthodox Jew, and the similarities to many of the words and teachings of Jesus Christ in Matthew 24, and many other teachings of Jesus that I am sure you will recognize as you read "Prepare For The Coming of Messiah", and much of what the Apostle Paul and other New Testament writers wrote concerning the birth pangs and events that would occur and are now accelerating as we near the great tribulation period and coming of our Lord and Messiah Yeshua. I hope you will enjoy this inspiring piece from our Jewish friend as much as I did.

Newsweek: Bible OK With Same-Sex 'Marriage'
Gay Marriage Our Mutual Joy
Either Lisa Miller has never read the Bible or she is lying. Jesus Christ said:
"But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife... "Mark 10:6,7
Certainly, even a child could understand the above words of Jesus Christ regarding marriage.
To be clear, born-again Christians are not immune to sin, and all struggle with some sin or another at one time or another, and these sins are known as besetting sins mentioned in Hebrews 12:1-4 ~~
"Wherefore seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight,
and the sin which doth so easily beset us and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking
unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross,
despising the shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him that endured
such contradiction of sinners against Himself lest ye, be wearied and faint in your minds."
A besetting sin is any sin in general and can have a negative effect of distracting a Christian from the calling that has been placed on one's life by Christ for the sake of His gospel message to be a witness for Christ.
Sanctification comes when one is born again of the Spirit of God and God's amazing grace is always sufficient to see us through.
However, no one who truly loves the Lord and is born of God will want to continue to promote a sinful life style that is unpleasing to the Lord or deliberately sin and go against what is written in His Word as the writer of the Newsweek fiction story is attempting to pass off as truth.
The Apostle John tells us that whoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1John 3:9. and Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 1 John 3:6
The Apostle Paul gives an illustration of besetting sins when he explains how the sinful flesh cannot please God in Romans Chapters 7 and 8 when he himself struggled with some sort of sin as he explains how the flesh and the spirit within are at war with each other, but most certainly, Paul never promoted or endorsed sin.
Paul said in his struggle against sin in Romans 7: "For I know that in me (that is, in myflesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 18 For the good that I would I do not; but the evil which I would not, that I do." 19.
So, we can easily see from the Apostle Paul's illustrations, from what Hebrews tells us of besetting sins, and from what the Apostle John writes, and most importantly what Jesus himself said of marriage and sin and hell, it is evident that Lisa Miller of Newsweek has never even read the Bible and perhaps now is a time to start.

Inspite of corrupted government officials all around us, all is not lost. Christians in America have a power working that can cut through the wickedness in high places available that sends demons fleeing. Here's a heartwarming story that tells of the faith many Americans have in Jesus Christ, God and prayer. This must make our Lord very happy!
Study: Americans Pray Just To Get Through The Day
Politicians come and go, fashions evolve and the culture shifts with alarming frequency. One thing remains constant, though.
Americans pray. A lot.
Ninety percent have a spiritual interlude with God every day, according to a study released Thursday by Brandeis University. Half pray several times a day, in fact.
"Most prayer writers imagine a God who is accessible, listening, and a source of emotional and psychological support, who at least sometimes answers back," said Wendy Cadge, a sociologist who directed the research.
The experience is intensely personal, with eight out of 10 beginning their prayers with a familiar greeting, like "Dear Lord" or "Hello Jesus." More here

The Bible clearly shows that God has given this land of Israel to the Jewish people:
Therefore say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. Ezekiel 11:16
Therefore, say, Thus says the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. Ezekiel 11:17
"For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land; I will build them and not pull them down, and I will plant them and not pluck them up." Jeremiah 24:6
"Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." Exodus 14:13-14
Israel has for the past 60 years or since 1948 been restored to the land of their forefathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just as the prophets of God prophesied. Judgment of the nations is coming.

This is another very sad day for Israel; however, those of us who have read the Word of God know the enemies of Israel will be defeated in the end and the God of Israel will not be mocked. The Israeli Defense Force and Security forces forcibly evacuated some 200 settlers from a "disputed" home in the city Hebron, home to the Biblical Jewish patriarchs. Hebron, located in the "West Bank" is the place where the Hebrew patriarch Abraham bought some land to be used as a burial ground for himself, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah and other patriarchs. Genesis 23 tells us that the Hebrew Patriarch Abraham purchased the burial field in Hebron which was Mach-pe-lah, and the cave, for 400 shekels of silver for his wife Sarah when she died at 127 years and buried her
God will avenge this act to all those nations who had a hand in the uprooting of His people Israel in their land that He gave to Abraham's descendants, the Jews, and there will be very serious repercussions I fear to the United States of America for their part in it.
- Hebron is the place of G-d’s promise of a son by Sarah; where G-d pledged to Abraham descendants as numerous as the stars; and where Abraham’s faith in the promise was reckoned to him as righteousness.
- Hebron is the place of our beginning as a people, where Abraham purchased with money the first parcel of land, promised by G-d to his descendants, from the former owners of this property, who were Hittites, not Philistines1.
- Hebron is the place where G-d made a Covenant by blood and fire with Abraham regarding the inheritance of the Land2.
- In Hebron G-d confirmed this covenant with Isaac, and established it with Jacob.
- In Hebron our patriarchs’ and matriarchs’ bones await the resurrection.
- In Hebron Caleb reclaimed Abraham’s possession for his allotted inheritance in Judah by driving out the three sons of Anak, son of Kiriath-Arba3. On January 15, 1997, Israel’s leaders disinherited Caleb and brought back the Lawless ones.
- Hebron is one of the six cities of Refuge for the manslayer.
- In Hebron David was first crowned king and reigned for 7 years before becoming king over all of Israel --- then G-d will also reverse judgment and requital, and turn to our leaders and our people4!!!
Hebron is the Birthplace of the House of Israel. It is there that both the People and the Land of Israel have their beginning.
Hebron is a place of covenant, of friendship and intimacy with G-d. To relinquish Hebron into the hands of G-d’s and Israel’s adversary is like Jacob waiving his confirmed right as the heir and “prince with G-d” back to his brother Esau. This is unthinkable, unimaginable! It cannot be done! It must never be done! But it has been done! Source
