Todd Bentley, Lakeland, The Latter Rain Revival, "Manifest Sons of God", Paul Cain, Bob Jones, William Branham Connection
The New Apostolic Reformation
How many were around 50 years ago to remember when Todd Bentley's associates Willian Branham (thru Paul Cain), Bob Jones, etal were attempting to introduce the Latter Rain-Manifest Sons of God doctrine into the charismatic-pentecostal movement? I wasn't. William Branham is gone now; he passed away in December of 1965, but his strong heretical and anti-biblical influence lives on through Paul Cain, Bob Jones and now Todd Bentley, and other associates who call themselves apostles and prophets.
How many of us know that Vineyard Ministries "Apostle" Jack Deere, believes that the two witnesses in Revelation 11 may very well be Kansas City "Prophets" Paul Cain and Bob Jones? (1). Says Paul Cain:,
"God is raising up a new standard, a new banner if you will, that’s going to radically change the expression, the understanding of Christianity in our generation…God has invited us to have a role in establishing this NEW ORDER of Christianity…God is offering to this generation something He has never offered to any other generation… Beware lest OLD ORDER brethren rob you and steal this hope from you!(2)
This sinister cultic group of the late 40's had a very devious dark plan in mind for the Christian Church, which isn't about to go away in the near future. Barbara Aho writes about their scheme following: (For more on William Branham-Paul Cain connection, go here ; for Todd Bentley, Bob Jones connection, go here )Over 50 years ago, William Branham, George Warnock, Paul Cain and others attempted to introduce Latter Rain/Manifest Sons of God teachings into the Pentecostal movement. In 1949, however, the Assemblies of God officially rejected the Latter Rain/ Manifest Sons of God doctrine as "heresy." The cult went underground but surfaced again in the 1960's as the Manchild Company. Disregarding the Assemblies of God decision, Paul Cain, the Kansas City Prophets and Vineyard Ministries have subsequently reintroduced and successfully established this false doctrine in the Pentecostal churches.
The Latter Rain/Manifest Sons of God doctrine "involved a man-child elite group of Overcomers taking dominion over all nations and reigning in the heavenlies while overseeing drastic judgment on all who remained in the 'old generation' -- i.e., the denominational churches! The Latter-Rain teachings promised a Second Pentecost outpouring to empower this elite group, and to incarnate the Christ within them to the degree that they will become perfect and invincible, even to the overthrow of heavenly powers."(5)
Today, few recall the controversy surrounding Latter Rain/Manifest Sons of God doctrines fifty years ago and their repudiation by the Church. Of necessity, they are now camouflaged and Christians must have an accurate understanding of Scripture to discern these counterfeit winds of doctrine. Charismatic churches are well-established in Latter Rain doctrine and Evangelical churches are currently being indoctrinated via numerous parachurch organizations and movements. Latter Rain teachings include: Kingdom Now/Dominion Theology, Progressive Revelation, Revival/Harvest, Joel’s Army, Replacement Theology, Post-Millennial Eschatology, Signs and Wonders, Territorial Warfare, Ecumenism, Restoration of Apostles and Prophets, Jubilee/Feast of Tabernacles, and the Post-denominational Church.

Angels or Demons...Todd Bentley and "The Beautiful Side of Evil"
- "...I went into a trance-like state and I saw, for the third time over the course of a few years, the angel of finance.... In that trance I experienced one of heaven’s realities and then that experience became a reality here on earth.... I found myself in a treasure room in heaven. The only item in this room was gold coins, and I began stuffing those coins into my pockets until they were falling out." Todd Bentley
"...my spirit guides, Jesus and Mamacita, were with me, teaching me to overcome the lower spiritual entities. Now, during the many hours spent in meditation waves of light and peace would flow over me...."[2,p.85] Johanna Michaelsen, The Beautiful Side of Evil
"...false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. But take heed...." Mark 13:22-23

Apparently, and rightly so, there has been quite an uproar over it around the internet and blogsphere as more and more people are catching onto this New Age, 'revival' ' scam' camouflaged as Christianity at Lakeland and apparently, the performer of the "dance," is now attempting to "rationalize" and "justify" the extrabiblical occultic "dance" performed at Lakeland June 2. Her remarks now, posted here in its entirety justifying this fleshy, worldly, occultic shaman are self explanatory, wherein she attempts to call it "Christian" warfare dance, picking apart and selectively choosing and twisting words from scripture to fit into the unbiblical Word of Faith heresy-- Word of Faithers believe that what they say will come to be, what "they think" the scriptures say is theirs to have, by the "faith force." For the purpose of this article, I will use three examples from the link above as stated by the dancer, to demonstrate how the blasphemous Word of Faith combined w/ New Age occultic belief is in full force here.
Notice how the dancer justifies this tribal shaman here, selectively using portions of scripture verses:
First, in PART 3, the dancer says:A picture was coming to me of like being in a battle field.
The dancer writes:PART 4: Robotic moves. I am a modern dancer and so for me those types of movements are very militant and “strong”. They require a lot physically and in my mind I am thinking of the armor of God, blocking the arrows of the enemy, shield of faith.
In part 3 above it is clear that the dancer is using New Age "visualization" as she says "a picture was coming to me." In Part 4 above, it is clear that she is using Ephesians 6:16 which she has completely twisted its meaning, and where the Apostle Paul writes "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the firey darts of the wicked." Anyone who knows anything about the ancient Roman fighting strategies knows that a shield was worn by Roman soldiers for protection from flaming arrows, or darts as the Apostle Paul writes, from the enemy. Roman soldiers could advance toward their target city because they were covered with their shield of protection despite the flying "darts"; Born again Christians know that Jesus Christ is our only shield of protection and we cannot rely on our own abilities in this spiritual battle to fight off any firey "darts" coming toward us by the enemy as the dancer apparently believes. It is obvious to any born again believer that she is using a technique of "visualization" because of her statement of "in my mind" to accomplish blocking the arrows of the enemy.
The dancer writes PART 5: Around 2:05. I do some grabbing motions. In my mind I am praying and speaking to the enemy with motions saying “give that back. That’s mine” There are places where the enemy has come like a lion seeking whom he may devour and there are things in our lives that have been robbed. As the body it’s time to take them back.
For those of us who have read Revelation and believe what is written, we know that the earth will not be rid of its evil until Jesus Christ himself comes back to defeat Israel's enemies and the enemies of God and satan himself.
Here we have her again, using visualization "in my mind" and "speaking to the enemy." Typical of Word of Faithers, the dancer apparently thinks she can talk or "activate" the faith force, talk to the enemy satan, who is the enemy of every real Christian, and demand and cause him to give back what he has taken. Word of Faithers think they are "little gods." This absurdity totally abolishes God's sovereignty over His creation. From statements in part 5, she is obviously "visualizing" the enemy here. Continues here with more of the same. This is not Christian by the wildest stretch of anyone's mind or imagination.
Visualization is right out of New Age Occultic teachings. In Occult practices intangible images are brought into (physical reality) the material world, our 3rd dimension, by a number of ways. The attainment of this experiential knowledge (gnosis) leads to a self-realization . It has been said by occultists it lead's one to the mastery of spiritual technology and the attainment of psycho-spiritual powers.
The belief is that energy follows our thought. Our mind and thoughts produce energy, which begins to be birth in the spiritual realm first and then is reproduced in the natural. As the image we hold is incubated in thought it becomes birthed in the physical material world. Everything is first spiritual then physical. They claim this is how God created, he first had the image and then spoke it .This is clearly Christian Science and mind science also found in eastern ways of philosophy and metaphysical thought. This is unreal. Prepare yourself as you watch this outrageous performance of Todd Bentley as he kicks a man with stage 4 metastatic cancer in the stomach. I felt the poor man's pain as he was kicked in the stomach by Todd Bentley. Todd says "I had to be obedient to the Lord, sir" after he knees this man in the stomach. Indeed, Todd follows a very violent and strange god. Where in the Bible did Jesus ever use violence or kick anyone when he healed them?
This 'revival' needs to be shut down and fast. I have emailed ingited church informing them of that with a link to the video. I urge everyone who reads this and watched the video to do the same. You can email ignited church at firstname.lastname@example.org
Here's the video (Video has been removed by You Tube)
Christians worldwide would do well to avoid Todd Bentley and associates, God TV, and the Florida Outpouring-Lakeland revival at all costs.

You may have seen it televised on the God-TV channel. One has to wonder how she can even talk with the wild thrashing spasmatic head shaking manisfestations from side to side? I wouldn't advise doing this as it is an excellent way to do severe permanent damage to your cervical spine. Here's the video.
Demon possession in the Scriptures of whom Jesus delivered those from often took the form of convulsions, as seen in the video.
Church Warnings blog has posted an article from Charisma announcing the news of Bentley's 'prophetic' commission. This is unbelievable!
Here is how Charisma announced the news of what took place inLakeland just a couple of days ago: "Leaders Commission ToddBentley at ‘Lakeland Outpouring’... The special service was billedby leaders as one of the greatest moments in revival history."
The article continues: "Canadian revivalist Todd Bentley, leaderof the “Lakeland Outpouring,” was commissioned as an evangelistlast night in a special ceremony in Lakeland, Fla., that wasbroadcast into millions of homes by God TV... More here

I came across this commentary from Fox News by Cal Thomas in response to "Religious Americans: "My Faith Isn't the Only Way" Poll by Pew Forum and Public Life posted here Good job, Cal! Cal says:
I am shocked and appalled over a newly published survey by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life. It finds most Americans believe there are many ways to salvation besides their own faith. Most disturbing of all is the majority of self-identified evangelical Christians who believe this.
Apparently they must think Jesus was a liar, or mistaken, when he said: “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man comes to the Father but by me.” Look it up.This theological ignorance is a product of several things. It is surely a product of biblical illiteracy by people who don’t read, or selectively read scripture. It is also fallout from the political correctness vice that says you are intolerant if you believe anything to be true, because people who have another truth, or no truth, might feel bad and experience rejection.
If they feel rejection now, wait until they hear “away from me, I never knew you.”
Tolerance is a good thing. People should tolerate and respect people of different faiths, or no faith. But watering down your own set of professed doctrines in order to appeal to the lowest spiritual common denominator is akin to Peter denying Christ three times.
If there are many paths to heaven, Jesus suffered and died for nothing. He could have stayed in heaven, sent down a book of sayings and avoided crucifixion. Orthodox Christians have always believed – and their Bible teaches them — there is only one path to heaven and it is through Jesus Christ and him alone. One can believe whatever one wishes, but you can’t be considered a Christian without believing in this fundamental doctrine.
Christian churches have a lot of work to do in addressing biblical illiteracy, ignorance, and, yes, heresy, in their midst. They might want to pay more attention to fixing what's gone wrong among their members before expending too much energy on politics and politicians.

The self proclaimed "prophet" who told Todd Bentley that Jesus was to show up in person at the Lakeland Revival? Not too much has been said or made known about her, but it just so happens that in addition to Jesus not personally showing up, she is the co-founder of God-TV, which keeps the programming of Todd Bentley and his Lakeland show on the air
At this point, Bentley reads Wendy Alec's "prophetic word":
"The Lord just spoke to me and said, 'This is what will happen tomorrow night. The King and the King's anointing falls tomorrow night. The eighth of June, the anointing of the King of glory falls.'
"Jesus said, 'I am coming in person. The King is coming in person.' I sense so strongly there will be a personal, divine visitation of the Lamb of God--the Lord Jesus Christ to the revival tomorrow night.
"He will come in the clouds in His chariot, surrounded by a great angelic host, because the great honoring of the Lamb of God. The King of glory is coming to visit Lakeland; to visit the revival; to visit the outpouring. The devil trembles with that knowledge.
"For tomorrow, the King of glory sets foot upon the stage in divine, personal, one-to-one visitation."
The Christian Research Service brings to light the background and connections of Wendy Alec as it relates to Todd Bentley and his past and present connections. Americans Press Israel to Find Culprits in Attack on Pastor's Home

The pastor's son was seriously injured in March, when he opened a gift basket that had been rigged with explosives."Justice has to be served," said Jay Sekulow, chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice, a Washington-based conservative civil liberties law firm."This was an attempted murder because of religious belief," Sekulow told Cybercast News Service in a telephone interview. Sekulow, who is currently visiting Israel, said he and other lawyers want to make sure that there is no "trend" of religious persecution developing here.

- Confirming the apostasy of our times, The Christian Post writes "Religious Americans: My Faith Isn't the Only Way"
[quote]America remains a deeply religious nation, but a new survey finds most Americans don't believe their tradition is the only way to eternal life-- even if the denomination's teachings say otherwise. Story continues at the Christian Post link above.
1 John 5:13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Separating the wheat from the tares from Matthew's Gospel Chapter 13 comes to mind here.
The wheat represents the Christian population of God's kingdom. The tares looks very much like wheat but it is a different and harmful plant. It is not wheat but it looks like wheat. In this parable, the tares were something that was sown, not by God but by his enemy. So the kingdom is populated with wheat and tares. You might say, the wheat are God's people and the tares look like God's people.Luke 18:8
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
End time deception is rampant and the enemy continues to blind the vast mulititude of people from the truth of God's word.

Many people are thinking in apocalyptic terms these days....
- Thousands of people in the Netherlands say they expect the world to end in 2012, and many say they are taking precautions to prepare for the apocalypse.
The Dutch-language de Volkskrant newspaper said it spoke to thousands of believers in the impending end of civilization, and while theories on the supposed catastrophe varied, most tied the 2012 date to the end of the Mayan calendar, Radio Netherlands reported Monday.
De Volkskrant said many of those interviewed are stocking up on emergency supplies, including life rafts and other equipment.
Some who spoke to the newspaper were optimistic about the end of civilization.
"You know, maybe it's really not that bad that the Netherlands will be destroyed," Petra Faile said. "I don't like it here anymore. Take immigration, for example. They keep letting people in. And then we have to build more houses, which makes the Netherlands even heavier. The country will sink even lower, which will make the flooding worse."

I doubt Sarkozy is even aware that he may be helping to fulfill biblical prophecy concerning God's Holy City of Jerusalem that God's prophet wrote about in Zachariah Chapter 12 ~~"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people; all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." vs. 2,3 and
Zachariah Chapter 14
"Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifted, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall no be cut off from the city." vs 1,2
Stop Construction, Deport Jews, Divide Jerusalem
He emphasized, however, that there will never be peace in the Middle East until Israel stops building in Judea and Samaria, and said that the Knesset should pass a law to compensate and deport all the Jews currently living there.
Sarkozy further said that Jerusalem must be divided into two capitals, including one for a future Palestinian state.
The speech was the first by a French president in the Knesset since Francois Mitterrand addressed the plenum in 1982.

After reading the June 2008 Moaz Israel factual account of the ongoing persecution of the Messianic Jews of Israel by the orthodox, I found it difficult to say the least to believe these orthodox establishment Jews serve or believe in the God of the Torah, or Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. In fact, no where in the Torah does the God of Israel, whom Christians, Jews and Gentiles alike, know and believe to be Jesus Christ, advocate these sinful actions against those who do believe. These actions on the part of the orthodox Jewish establishment is pure evil, and cannot be supported anywhere in the Hebrew Bible. I am at a loss for words that the Jewish orthodox establishment in Israel condone these actions before the entire world while at the same time the government of Israel calls itself a democracy, and has not apprehended these guilty orthodox who terrorize innocent Messianic Jews in Israel. Likewise, I am more stunned that those who call themselves "Christian Zionists" continue to support this orthodox establishment financially,(Facts You May Not Know) thereby enabling and fostering this criminal activity toward innocent Jewish victims to continue in Israel. No where in all of the New Testament, or the Old Testament are Christians encourged to support this type of evil, either financially or otherwise.
I am all for helping those who need help, but I honestly believe that those Christians who call themselves Zionists and who blindly support the secular state of Israel would do well to re-evaluate their financial donations to the secular state of Israel, which ends up in the hands of the orthodox establishment who persecute our Messianic brethren. The Bible tells us to Bless those who persecute you. Bless them, and don't curse them. Romans 12:14. The biblical way to bless Israel is by giving them the Gospel of Christ. It does not say to financially donate to a tyrannical government that terrorizes its own citizens. Would these same so-called "Christian Zionists" make a financial donation to Saddam Hussein, or Hitler or Ahmandinejad so they can harm or kill Jews? Of course not. Financial giving to a tyrannical government who wants to rid its land of Messianic Jews, as has been proclaimed by the orthodox establishment of Israel, cannot be supported biblically and cannot be pleasing to the Lord.
The Bible tells us in Leviticus Chapter 19 "Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart; thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him." vs. 17. The Christian community as well as those Jewish people around the world who are against these outrageous criminal acts on the part of the orthodox of Israel needs to speak out louder and condemn these heinous crimes and demand the guilty perpetrators be brought to justice for their sins against our Messianic brethren in Israel or we become just as guilty, and will incur or partake in their guilt.
I encourage all those who are troubled about the deliberate persecution and government sanctioned discrimination and persecution of Messianic Jews in Israel to let the Israeli government know about it with an email here
Moaz Israel, June edition, reports here and continues at link:
- Persecution in ariel began two years ago
- It started two years ago when posters began appearing around Ariel with the faces of David and other Messianic believers and with the warning of “Beware! These people are Christian missionaries who are impersonating Jews and who belong to the cult of Messianic Jews.”
There is an organization in Israel called “Yad L’achim” which has one purpose for its existence - to persecute and destroy the Messianic movement and Christian organizations in Israel. It has deep connections within all governmental institutions. When Gaon from Maariv asked the head of Yad L’achim, Rabbi Shalom Dov Lipsheitz, why they persecute the Messianic Jews, he answered, “Ortiz and his friends are soul-murderers. Destroyers of Jews. Offspring of Crusaders. Continued

The Lighthouse is telling us that Christian Broadcasting Network is presenting a "soaking prayer" seminar. This is something that Christians need to steer far away from; however, I am not at all surprised that CBN is promoting this unbiblical and extabiblical form of spiritual prayer. If you read my article here, I reported I was utterly dismayed that CBN was promoting the Lakeland 'Revival' without even so much as investigating the background of Todd Bentley. Friends, just because something has a label on it that says "Christian" doesn't mean it is. Christianity is being attacked on all fronts today, so we need to be rooted and grounded in the Word of God as never before so as not to be swept away in the flood waters all around us.

For the Jewish believers in Jesus, or Messianic Jews of Israel, nothing has changed.
The perpetrators of the attempted murder of Ami Oritz are not apprehended, although there is no doubt in my mind that the sophisicated Israeli security services know who they or the person are.
As a supporter of Israel, though not blindly, I follow the Israel news these days, and it is not difficult to realize that nothing gets by the Israeli security force. Some things never change within the orthodox Israeli establishment since Jesus, the rejected Messiah of Israel, walked in the land of Israel. The orthodox establishment persecuted the Jewish followers of Jesus then, as the scriptures show, as they do today.
The Haaretz, a popular liberal Israeli media, is bringing to light a small portion of the plight of the Messianic Jews of Israel, but the article is no longer available. To get the whole story concerning the plight of Ami Oritz and the plight of the Messianic Jews in Israel, GO HERE.

Thank you Justin for making this very importand first hand eye-witness informational concerning Todd Bentley and the Lakeland 'Revival' available to Bible believing Christians.
Well, I went to Lakeland, FL to attend the revival services. I was in attendance Monday morning and evening, Tues evening, and Wed. morning. I really did try to go to these services with an open mind, but once there it did not take very long for my mind to begin closing. Todd Bentley does not preach in the morning services. Monday morning the preacher was a 28 year-old lady named Kira Mitchell who is one of Todd's interns (for lack of a better word). He is apparently mentoring her. She told a great deal of dramatic stories and spoke often about how God speaks to her in dreams, visions, and, on occassion, in an audible voice. Peppered throughout her message were references to the upcoming time where the anointing would begin flowing (to which she referred as "walking in the sauce" which struck me as rather irreverant to say the least) and people would be healed. She called for those with tumors and cysts to come forward because God was telling her that an anointing was there for people such as these. So, many did come forward - particularly women with breast cancer it seemed. She would go person to person down the line and prophesy over him or her (she said to numerous women "You are a daughter of destiny" though she never seemed to elaborate on exactly what that meant) and attempt to slay them in the Spirit. Some went down, some did not. There were people who claimed to be healed of their tumors. Noticeably lacking from those who claimed to be healed, however, were people such as the man who was blind, the woman who was on crutches suffering from crippling arthritis, and the mother with her seven year old little boy who was born without a brain - only a brain stem. None of these poor people were healed

Can you believe this?! A footprint of Jesus?! This has got to be one of the most absurd stories I have ever read. If any one knows how it was determined that this is an actual footprint of Jesus, please let us know.
A historic church in Egypt housing a display of Jesus' footprint has been damaged by a fire.
The fire, set off by an electrical fault, caused structural damage to the church and destroyed its altar, according to the Agence France-Presse reported, but did not damage the preserved stone.
Jesus and his family are believed to have stopped at the Sanctuary of the Church of the Virgin Mary, located in Sakha, during their flight from Bethlehem to Egypt to escape King Herod's attacks on children. They reportedly left an imprint of Jesus' foot on a rock that was put on display at the church.
The Coptic name of the Sakha is "Pekha -Issous" which means "the foot of Jesus." It is one of several locations in the Middle East that are said to have imprints of Jesus' footprints.
The Chapel of the Ascension in Jerusalem, the site believed to mark the place where Jesus ascended into heaven, also has a stone imprint of a footprint purportedly belonging to Jesus on display. Source

Barak Obama a Muslim in Christian Wool? Kinda looks that way....
From Israel Insider
Malik Obama confirms his half-brother Barack grew up a Muslim [updated]
By Israel Insider staff June 13, 2008
Is Obama lying about his muslim background? You be the judge.
Obama's official campaign site has a page titled "Obama has never been a Muslim, and is a committed Christian." The page states, "Obama never prayed in a mosque. He has never been a Muslim, was not raised a Muslim, and is a committed Christian who attends the United Church of Christ."
As the Jerusalem Post reports, "Barack Obama's half brother Malik said Thursday that if elected his brother will be a good president for the Jewish people, despite his Muslim background. In an interview with Army Radio he expressed a special salutation from the Obamas of Kenya."

In a column published last week, Cal Thomas took a verbal swing at Barack Obama's claim to be a committed Christian. "He can call himself anything he likes," wrote the syndicated columnist, "but there are certain markers among the evangelicals he is courting that one must meet in order to qualify for that label."
"I'm rooted in the Christian tradition," Obama told Falsani. "I believe there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people." The latter part of that statement, says Thomas, would likely be viewed by most Christians as universalism.
hmmm... Apparently Obama doesn't know who his nameless higher power is? Certainly not Jesus, who said "I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

WHAT I OBSERVED IN THE SERVICES
The first night I personally attended was Thursday, May 8th. Mr. Todd Bentley and his crew were now holding services in the Lakeland Civic Center, which can seat approximately 7,000 people. The doors opened at 6:00 PM to the blowing of a shofar from people waiting to get in. The first thing I noticed as I took a seat in the very back of the auditorium was that the music being played was the loudest I have ever encountered in any “Christian” service I have ever attended. It was blaring loud as the worship team practiced a few songs in anticipation of the 7:00 PM service.
I was immediately struck by how many people had banners or flags waving, and how many were jumping up and down like Mexican jumping beans.
Finally, someone who understands from the Bible that there is only one "elect" of God. From the Baptist Press, a California Baptist University professor told the Southern Baptist Messianic fFellowship:
INDIANAPOLIS (BP)--The Christian church needs Messianic believers -- Jews who follow Jesus as the Messiah -- for the same reason a man and woman need each other to be one flesh, a California Baptist University professor told the Southern Baptist Messianic Fellowship June 7.
Stokes addressed the afternoon session of the fellowship's annual meeting, held prior to the Southern Baptist Convention's June 10-11 annual meeting in Indianapolis."God is one, and He created man and woman and said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh,'" said Bruce Stokes, who also leads The DiscipleCenter congregation in Anaheim Hills, Calif. "She doesn't become male and he doesn't become female. The oneness requires both of them."
In the same way, God's plan for His church is for Jews and Gentiles to be themselves, standing side by side and demonstrating the unity within distinctions of God Himself, Stokes said."The Book of Galatians says I am not, as a Gentile, supposed to become a Jew and a Jew is not supposed to become uncircumcised," Stokes said. "Judaizing the Gentiles is forbidden; 'goyification' of Jews is also forbidden, because God wants Jews as Jews and Gentiles as Gentiles being one in the body [of Christ]."Continues Here

Here's an awe inspiring story of faith and courage of a young girl and Holocaust survivor Anita Dittman. Can you imagine what it must be like to be only a young teenager, forced to dig ditches in the hot sun for 10 hours a day in one of Hitler's camps? That's what Anita had to do to survive until that fateful day when she bribed a Nazi that opened the door to her freedom. Anita's story follows:
The Holocaust saw over six million Jews killed and millions more tortured. The survivor's from that time are becoming fewer and fewer as generations change hands. one of those survivor's is eighty-one year old, Anita Dittman.. Anita now lives in Northern Minnesota and recently sat down with us to tell us what it was like to live under Hitler's oppression...here is Anita's story:
Anita reflects, "I remember a time sitting outside, I must've been about eight years old or so...i was just waiting for a playmate to come out, instead six other girls came out and beat me up and called me "Jew Bread".Anita Dittman's childhood was filled with memories of discrimination and hatred, simply because she was Jewish. Adolf Hitler rose to power telling Germans they were the Master Race. Anita states, "and all undesirables had to be eliminated and of course the Jewish people were at the top of that list."Soon, neighbors and friends disappeared. They were pulled from their homes and sent to so-called "work camps" never to be seen again. Anita and her family waited.Anita recalled, "What was tough was that fear that at any moment there might be that knock at the front door."One day the knock on the door came. First, Anita's mother was taken, seven months later, Anita...herself.

Male priests marry in Anglican church's first gay 'wedding'
Speaking of the end times and just before His coming again, Jesus said in the Gospel of Luke Chapter 17: "And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. vs. 26, 27.
In otherwords, everything would be as usual for the unrepentant and who are not watching what is going on around them in the world today as it relates to sin and God's judgment until it is too late, just like it was with Noe, who lived righteously and walked with God and built the ark to shelter himself and his family when God destroyed the earth with the great flood because of its sinfulness as recorded in Genesis Chapters 6-9
Jesus goes on to say "Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. vs. 28-30
Genesis 13:13 But the men of Sodom were wicked sinners before the LORD exceedingly.
In the days of Lot the people gave themselves over to blantant sexual sin. They were homosexuals and adulterers and engaged in any thing their wicked heart desired. Lawlessness abounded, everyone did whatever they felt like from their own evil heart. It became a normal thing in their cities to live in this manner.
These are the days of Noe and Lot and Christians are to be watching for our blessed hope, the Son of man to be revealed, but first must come great tribulation with persecution. In the near future the church as we know it will no longer be. Instead, the church of the first 300 years after the sacrifice of Christ will come to be with all of the same kind of persecutions. We are almost there. The story follows:
An Anglican church has held a homosexual "wedding" for the first time in a move that will deepen the rift between liberals and traditionalists, The Sunday Telegraph can disclose.
Two male priests exchanged vows and rings in a ceremony that was conducted using one of the church's most traditional wedding rites – a decision seen as blasphemous by conservatives.
The ceremony broke Church of England guidelines and was carried out last month in defiance of the Bishop of London, in whose diocese it took place. News of the "wedding" emerged days before a crucial summit of the Anglican Church's conservative bishops and archbishops, who are threatening to split the worldwide Church over the issue of homosexual clergy.
Although some liberal clergy have carried out "blessing ceremonies" for homosexual couples in the past, this is the first time a vicar has performed a "wedding ceremony", using a traditional marriage liturgy, with readings, hymns and a Eucharist.
Both the conservative and liberal wings of the Anglican communion expressed shock last night.
The Most Rev Henry Orombi, the Archbishop of Uganda, said that the ceremony was "blasphemous." He called on Dr Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, to take decisive action if the Anglican Church were not to "disintegrate". Archbishop Orombi added: "What really shocks me is that this is happening in the Church of England that first brought the Gospel to us.
"The leadership tried to deny that this would happen, but now the truth is out. Our respect for the Church of England will erode unless we see a return to traditional teaching."
The Rt Rev Michael Scott-Joynt, the Bishop of Winchester – a powerful conservative figure – said that the service represented a wedding "in all but name". He said: "Strictly speaking it is not a marriage, but the language is clearly modelled on the marriage service and the occasion is modelled on the marriage service. This clearly flouts Church guidelines and will exacerbate divisions within the Anglican Communion."
The bishop said that it was up to the Rt Rev Richard Chartres, the Bishop of London, to act, adding that it would become a high-profile test case of Church authority.
"Can we stand for the clear teaching of the Church of England or are we powerless in the face of these actions, which I regret enormously have taken place," he said.
The service was held at St Bartholomew the Great in London – one of England's oldest churches, which featured in Four Weddings and a Funeral – and was conducted by the parish rector, the Rev Martin Dudley.
The couple, the Rev Peter Cowell, who is a cleric at one of the Queen's churches, and the Rev Dr David Lord, had registered their civil partnership before the ceremony.
Mr Dudley opened the service by saying: "Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God to join these men in a holy covenant of love and fidelity. Such a covenant shows us the mystery of the union between God and God's people and between Christ and the Church." In the vows, Mr Cowell and Dr Lord pledged to "hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part".
Mr Dudley blessed the union with the words: "As David and Jonathan's souls were knit together, so these men may surely perform and keep the vow and covenant betwixt them made."
Leading church figures expressed astonishment at the language and grandeur of the service, claiming that it was a highly provocative act. Although, the use of such a traditional ceremony does not constitute a marriage in the eyes of the law, Church figures on all sides said the event went further than any gay blessing ceremonies that had gone before.
The "marriage" will revive the war over homosexual clergy that has engulfed the Church since 2003 when Gene Robinson was made Bishop of New Hampshire and Jeffrey John, another gay cleric, who was about to become Bishop of Reading, was made to step down.
It is likely to embolden liberal clergy who have been reluctant to offer a full "wedding service" and will open the floodgates to other homosexuals who want a traditional ceremony.
Mr Dudley agreed to conduct the service despite Bishop Chartres warning that Church guidelines – drawn up when the Civil Partnerships Act was introduced – do not allow formal blessings of gay relationships. He argued that it was not a wedding but a blessing and that he was not "offering" blessing services, but responding to personal requests from friends. "I believe that marriage is a union between a man and a woman, but I see nothing wrong with blessing a couple who want to make a life-long commitment to one another."
A Church of England spokesman said: "Where clergy are approached by people asking for prayer in relation to entering into a civil partnership they should respond pastorally and sensitively in the light of the circumstances. But the House of Bishops affirmed that clergy should not provide services of blessing for those who register a civil partnership."
"Can we stand for the clear teaching of the Church of England or are we powerless in the face of these actions?"

The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ." NOT angels!
It is unbelievable how many people have fallen for this religious scam, especially when the Lord has warned us over and over in His Word and through his true prophets and apostles that there would be false teachers, and impostors in the last days. This is clear evidence of the deplorable condition of the church today.
Todd Bentley clearly shows that he preaches another gospel out of the New Age- occult, which really isn't new at all. It dates back to Adam and Eve in Genesis Chapter 3 when the serpent deceived Eve convincing her to eat of the forbidden fruit and said: "Ye shall not surely die; For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, AND YE SHALL BE AS GODS, knowing good and evil." vs. 4,5
Here are some warnings from the Apostle Paul:Paul wrote to the church at Corinth in I Corinth. 1:22,23 "For the Jews require a sign and the Greeks (Gentiles) seek after wisdom, But WE PREACH CHRIST CRUCIFIED, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks (Gentiles) foolishness; and
"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:8 and
"Let no man beguile you of your reward in the voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath NOT seen, vainly puffed up by his FLESHLY mind," and
"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light."2 Corinth. 11:14

One would think that a Christian pastor who is supposedly rooted and grounded in the Word of God, and lead by His Holy Spirit, would not be making so many public blunders when it comes to the Word of God. Past comments do come back to bite you, especially when you are in a public forum.
I hope and pray that John Hagee would apologize next for misrepresenting millions of Bible believing Christians for his adherence to a dual covenant theology, and start taking the Gospel of Christ to the Jewish people of Israel and around the world.
While the headlines of John Hagee's apology from Haaretz out of Israel reads U. S. Pastor Apologizes To Jews, I fail to see any apology from John Hagee, but only that "he regrets if my Jewish friends felt any pain as a result." A simply "I'm sorry I said it" will do, "because it was wrong." is an apology.

Intelligent people 'less likely to believe in God' .... This is really an insult to all intelligent people everywhere who believe in God. In fact, it doesn't take any intelligence not to believe in God. The heaven's declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork. Psalm 19:1 and God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. 1 Corinth 2:27
A survey such as this is simply based on opinion, which can change like the weather and does not take or show any intelligence at all.
People with higher IQs are less likely to believe in God, according to a new study.
Professor Lynn said religious belief had declined in the 20th century
Professor Richard Lynn, emeritus professor of psychology at Ulster University, said many more members of the "intellectual elite" considered themselves atheists than the national average.
A decline in religious observance over the last century was directly linked to a rise in average intelligence, he claimed.
But the conclusions - in a paper for the academic journal Intelligence - have been branded "simplistic" by critics.
Professor Lynn, who has provoked controversy in the past with research linking intelligence to race and sex, said university academics were less likely to believe in God than almost anyone else.
A survey of Royal Society fellows found that only 3.3 per cent believed in God - at a time when 68.5 per cent of the general UK population described themselves as believers.
A separate poll in the 90s found only seven per cent of members of the American National Academy of Sciences believed in God.
Professor Lynn said most primary school children believed in God, but as they entered adolescence - and their intelligence increased - many started to have doubts.
He told Times Higher Education magazine: "Why should fewer academics believe in God than the general population? I believe it is simply a matter of the IQ. Academics have higher IQs than the general population. Several Gallup poll studies of the general population have shown that those with higher IQs tend not to believe in God."
He said religious belief had declined across 137 developed nations in the 20th century at the same time as people became more intelligent.
But Professor Gordon Lynch, director of the Centre for Religion and Contemporary Society at Birkbeck College, London, said it failed to take account of a complex range of social, economic and historical factors.
"Linking religious belief and intelligence in this way could reflect a dangerous trend, developing a simplistic characterisation of religion as primitive, which - while we are trying to deal with very complex issues of religious and cultural pluralism - is perhaps not the most helpful response," he said.
Dr Alistair McFadyen, senior lecturer in Christian theology at Leeds University, said the conclusion had "a slight tinge of Western cultural imperialism as well as an anti-religious sentiment".
Dr David Hardman, principal lecturer in learning development at London Metropolitan University, said: "It is very difficult to conduct true experiments that would explicate a causal relationship between IQ and religious belief. Nonetheless, there is evidence from other domains that higher levels of intelligence are associated with a greater ability - or perhaps willingness - to question and overturn strongly felt institutions."

NY Fed chief urges global bank framework...
Global Banking System
One World Monetary System In The Making
Banks and investment banks whose health is crucial to the global financial system should operate under a unified regulatory framework with “appropriate requirements for capital and liquidity”, according to Timothy Geithner, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Writing in Monday’s Financial Times, Mr Geithner, a key US policymaker throughout the credit crisis and one of the main architects of the rescue of Bear Stearns, says that the US Federal Reserve should play a “central role” in the new regulatory framework, working closely with supervisors in the US and round the world.
End time biblical prophecy is happening faster than we can comment on it as the NY Fed is now urging the Beast system of Daniel 7:7 and Revelation 13:17 to kick off.
- After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth; it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. Daniel 7:7
- And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark or the name of the beast, or the numer of his name. Revelation 13:1

The flyers appeared everywhere inside the Jewish settlement of Ariel, on car windshields and telephone poles, and in bus shelters. "Beware," it read, "these are the members of the Jewish Missionary Cult. They are baptizing Jews into Christianity." Included was a photo of Pastor David Ortiz and his address.
Ortiz didn't give it a thought. His Jewish neighbors liked him, and so did Ariel's mayor, who found Ortiz, originally from Brooklyn, useful in recruiting funds and political support from American and German Evangelicals for this stone-clad settlement on a breezy hilltop inside Palestinian territory.
But somebody disliked Ortiz and his beliefs enough to try to kill him and his family. Continues

We have gone out on a limb and are riding the wave with the Holy Spirit. This Sunday we run out of the money given to carry the revival live EVERY night, but our hearts AND YOUR hearts are all burning to keep the revival on air!
Please help us NOW!
We love and appreciate you so VERY much... thank you for doing whatever you can...
Rory & Wendy Alec source
I thought to myself "why would God TV sponsor such a blasphemous event as this counterfeit revival" until I saw that name Wendy Alec of God TV. The same person who told Todd Jesus was going to show up at the 'revival'.
"Last night, Todd Bentley read out a prophecy from Wendy Alec of GOD TV. It was done to hype the Sunday night show (8th June - tonight) for the kingly anointing to fall. Jesus apparantly said via Wendy Alec (you can hear it word for word on the video) that ‘I am coming in person to Lakeland. I am coming in the clouds, surrounded by chariots and a host of angels. I will set foot on stage in a divine personal one on one visitation to the revival.’
Now is this a man, who calls himself a revivalist and a pastor, and a woman connected to a worldwide audience for God via God-TV familiar with the teachings of Jesus Christ? I don't think so.
The Testimony of Scripture
Isaiah 8:20-- To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Matthew 24:23-27 Then if any man say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert' go not forth; behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall the coming of the son of man be.
It kinda looks like Wendy and Todd have a money-making business partnership scheme. What do you think?

Luke 10:1 records " After these things, the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two by two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come." The scriptures are very clear that the early Christians met in their homes, so I urge caution, as with any archaeological discovery, until this discovery can be authenticated to ascertain exactly what has been found here. Acts 2: 46 records "And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, and in Acts 5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul also carried on this biblical practice of meeting in private homes. Acts 20:20 the apostle Paul stated “And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have showed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house”.
Also, from the article "Inside the cave there are several stone seats which are believed to have been for the clergy and a circular shaped area, thought to be the apse. "
I have doubts that any "clergy" was established in the early Christian Church, as the word clergy is not mentioned in the NT, or an "apse." The apostle Paul mentions bishop and deacon in 1 Timothy 3:2. This sounds something like a Roman Catholic thing, which most definitely is not New Testament Christianity.
Archaeologists in Jordan have unearthed what they claim is the world's first church, dating back almost 2,000 years, The Jordan Times reported on Tuesday.
"We have uncovered what we believe to be the first church in the world, dating from 33 AD to 70 AD," the head of Jordan's Rihab Centre for Archaeological Studies, Abdul Qader al-Husan, said.
He said it was uncovered under Saint Georgeous Church, which itself dates back to 230 AD, in Rihab in northern Jordan near the Syrian border.
"We have evidence to believe this church sheltered the early Christians--the 70 diciples of Jesus Christ," Husan said.
These Christians, who are described in a mosaic as "the 70 beloved by God and Divine," are said source
The following is nothing less than governmental religious tyranny .... unfortunately, we are going to see more and more of this in supposedly civilized nations.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Government to pastor: Renounce your faith ! Now banned from expressing moral opposition to homosexuality.
A Canadian human rights tribunal ordered a Christian pastor to renounce his faith and never again express moral opposition to homosexuality, according to a new report.
In a decision dated May 30 in the penalty phase of the quasi-judicial proceedings run by the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal, evangelical pastor Stephen Boisson was banned from expressing his biblical perspective of homosexuality and ordered to pay $5,000 for "damages for pain and suffering" as well as apologize to the activist who complained of being hurt.
"[The] government now believes that if it can't convince a Christian pastor that he's wrong, it will just order him to condemn himself?" Levant wrote on his blog. "Other than tribunals in Stalin's Soviet Union and Mao's China, where is this Orwellian 'order' considered to be justice?"
"This is like a Third World jail-house confession – where accused criminals are forced to sign false statements of guilt," Levant wrote. "We don’t even 'order' murderers to apologize to their victims' families. Because we know that a forced apology is meaningless. But not if your point is to degrade Christian pastors."
II Timothy 3:12 "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."
Sin and the cross of Christ is very offensive to sinners, so they try and sweep it under the carpet to make it go away, as is being done in this case in Canada, but that does not change the fact that God has spoken in his Word and the only thing that will make sin go away is turning away from it or repentence by confessing your sin to Jesus Christ and asking for forgiveness.
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination Leviticus 18:22.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

Also, because of the unbiblical and extrabiblical charismatic nonsense taking place in Lakeland, I thought I would put an article up by Warren Smith that the Lighthouse is featuring which addresses "Holy Laughter" that has been taking place in the charismatic signs and wonders movement for years, and those who have been involved in this movement shake it off as a "sign" from God and being "drunk in the spirit." There is absolutely no evidence of this anywhere in the Scriptures.
"Holy Laughter or Strong Delusion"by Warren Smith. I watched the video again. It was entitled Signs and Wonders Camp meeting 1994. Pastors of huge charismatic churches were stumbling around the church stage "drunk" with "holy" laughter. Wanting to testify to the fact that "holy" laughter had transformed their ministries and their lives, many of them were unable to speak when called on to do so. But their "drunken" condition became their testimony. Their halting speech was seen as "proof" of the "power of the spirit" that had come over them....

It seems that both Benny Hinn and now Todd Bentley think that Jesus will make a personal appearance at their counterfeit crusade.
Todd Bentley is not the first to claim a physical appearance of Jesus. Benny Hinn employed this back in 2000. Not surprisingly, nobody got Jesus' numerous appearances on film or video. This website talks about this heresy: Let Us ReasonHere it is from the "horses mouth" where, just like Todd Bentley, Benny Hinn works up the people's expectations and get this, he just comes out and says it, "Expect it!"
In this next video, Hinn makes the claim again. He says that Jesus is going to appear BEFORE His second coming. So where does the Bible speak about Jesus' 1.5th coming!?He goes on to say that not only does he believe Jesus will physically appear, He is "expecting" it and he "feels" it. Since when did Christians walk by sight instead of by faith!?Hinn claims there are pictures and video of Jesus' physical appearances. If so, someone please post them onto YouTube.
Notably, Benny in the March 29th, 2000 program showed a video clip of a Toronto Canada crusade where he was slaying young people in the spirit saying "FIRE, FIRE, FIRE, ... put FIRE on these kids ... He's being electrocuted by God's power ... Fire on you ... I never thought I would see this in Canada, ... FIRE, FIRE, FIRE." The stage was nearly full of young people who had fallen down and were incapacitated under the alleged imparting of the Holy Spirit. There is no scriptural precedent for "slaying in the spirit". In fact, it is contrary to the scriptural nature of the Holy Spirit to knock down or incapacitate people, even briefly. Acts chapter 2, which describes the great initial outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, doesn't have the slightest hint of anyone being "slain in the spirit." The baptism of fire (Matt 3:11, Luke 3:16) was a visible tongue of fire above the head (Acts 2:3) and not an incapacitating "electrocution." Slaying in the Spirit is simply unbiblical, and should be considered a counterfeit!
False prophet and teacher of fables, Benny Hinn is still waiting for Jesus to show up at his crusade from the year 2,000
