I doubt Sarkozy is even aware that he may be helping to fulfill biblical prophecy concerning God's Holy City of Jerusalem that God's prophet wrote about in Zachariah Chapter 12 ~~"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people; all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." vs. 2,3 and
Zachariah Chapter 14
"Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifted, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall no be cut off from the city." vs 1,2

Stop Construction, Deport Jews, Divide Jerusalem
He emphasized, however, that there will never be peace in the Middle East until Israel stops building in Judea and Samaria, and said that the Knesset should pass a law to compensate and deport all the Jews currently living there.
Sarkozy further said that Jerusalem must be divided into two capitals, including one for a future Palestinian state.
The speech was the first by a French president in the Knesset since Francois Mitterrand addressed the plenum in 1982.
