You may have seen it televised on the God-TV channel. One has to wonder how she can even talk with the wild thrashing spasmatic head shaking manisfestations from side to side? I wouldn't advise doing this as it is an excellent way to do severe permanent damage to your cervical spine. Here's the video.

I finally saw that video today. I linked on to another video with her featured on Patricia King's show and it was the same but much longer.
ReplyDeleteI read that it was like the results of Kundalini, but this is nothing like what I have seen regarding Kundalini. I have a friend who used to practice Kundalini, but he has never mentioned anything remotely close to some of the things that I have seen written... I left him a message bc I want to ask him more about it... I am not advocating yoga by any means!!! But, I think a lot of this is FLESH.... Of course, it could be a spiritual force, of course, but it could be the flesh, too.. I read on one blog that it was interesting how she calmed down when reading God's Word and how the "spirit" was hiding during that time, possibly. Well, maybe its as simple as she just can't read with her head shaking like that. I am not at all saying its not demonic, I am just saying that we seem too often underestimate how CRAZY things like lust for power, pride, covetousness, etc makes us... Maybe I have been in L.A. too long... Instead of being shocked that she was doing that, I just wondered how she managed to not break her neck and how her hair all fall into place when it was over. Now, if a woman did that at my church (Grace Community Church under MacArthur) - THEN I would be shocked!

Hey Toni! Of course Lighthouse would be on it! I love them! I actually contacted Deborah there when my daughter's school was going to make her do yoga for phys. ed! I pulled her out, of course... And everyone thought I was a nut... Oh well! Not my child!!!!!
ReplyDeletePrior to that, I took yoga... Never had a a crazy experience, but felt stronger, more flexible, healthier overall, etc... However! When I did my research with this whole school thing and also listened to Ingrid Schleuter's show on it, that was it!
You know, I was raised in a hard core legalistic church in the south, moved to L.A. and eventually ended up in a charismatic church (Church on the Way) for over a decade... the the Lord in His mercy, opened my eyes to so much and long and short of it, we are members of Grace now...
I think bc I spent such a long time in the charismatic church being influenced by "there is a demon under every rock," its easy to get so frustrated bc I was under false teaching for so long... But, on the other hand spiritual warfare IS real...
So, I hope I didn't come off harsh or anything like that at all! Just working through it all sometimes...
