ISRAEL: Turning Up The 'Heat' On Messianic Jews

Today, from CBN, there is another story about the New Testament burning in Israel, and the years of persecution toward the Messianic Jews in Israel by the orthodox Jews. As the headliner says, "Turning Up The 'Heat' On Messianic Jews; likewise this story must stay front and center to turn up the heat on the Israeli state sanctioned persecution of Jewish Christians within Israel to bring charges against those who were involved in organizing and burning the New Testaments, namely the deputy mayor who claims he came to stop the students.

"Though the newspaper caught the deputy mayor at the bonfire, he said he came to stop the students when he saw what they were doing."

I am not one to make accusations against anyone regarding this latest incident of documented persecution by the orthodox toward the Messianic Jews of Israel; however, when someone is caught in the act, of course he will try and cover his tracks. The orthodox Shas Israeli government party, of which the deputy mayor shown above is a member, have been getting away with crimes against the Messianics of Israel for years, and until the Olmert government takes an open stand to put a stop to these outrageous crimes other than talk, the orthodox perpetrators will continue in their criminal activity, sanctioned by the State of Israel, and Christians all over the world must "turn up the heat" until the guilty ones are brought to justice.

Another story from CBN reports on June 3, 2008 that: "Uzi Aharon, the deputy mayor of Or Yehuda, organized the burnings of the New Testaments, according to the Israeli newspaper "Ma'ariv," which first reportered the story. Some of the Bibles were printed by the Bible Society in Israel. Victor Kalisher serves as the director of the Bible Society."

  1. Hello! I found your website and I read your post. My name is Anders Branderud and I am from Sweden.
I would just like to write some words.

I am a follower of Ribi Yehoshua – Mashiakh – who practiced Torah including Halakhah with all his heart.
He was born in Betlehem 7 B.C.E . His faher name was Yoseiph and mother’s name was Mir′ yâm. He had twelve followers. He tought in the Jewish batei-haknesset (synagogues). Thousands of Jews were interested in His Torah-teachings. Some Jews who didn’t practice Judaism where threatened. They decided to crucify him. So they did - together with the Romans. His followers were called Netzarim (meaning offshoots [of a olive tree]) and they continued to pray with the other Jews in the synagogues.

Christianity does not teach the teachings of Ribi Yehoshua. Ribi Yehoshuas teachings were pro-Torah; Christianity is anti-Torah.

If you want to learn more click at our website www.netzarim.co.il -- than click at the lick "Christians"

Hasheim – the Creator of the universe – loves you. If you want to have a relation with Him you need to follow His Torah.

Be blessed when you practice Hasheims Torah and His mitzwot!

  2. Hello anders:

    Thank you for stopping by.

Yeshua (Jesus) said in Matthew's Gospel Chapter 5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." Jesus, or Yeshua was a forshadow of the things to come, and He fulfilled the prophecies, and the law in the Torah. He is the sacrificial sinless lamb that was given up by God for the sins of all mankind once and for all.

    God's prophet Jeremiah writes:

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

The New Covenant is fulfilled in Messiah Yeshua.

    Blessings to you,
    Toni
