Gilad Schilat Before Hamas Captivity
After Gilad Returned From Hamas Captivity
Gilad Schalit Finally Arrives Home In Mitzpe Hila
After over five years in Hamas captivity, with lack of food and sunlight, an obviously sickly looking, pale and malnourished IDF soldier Gilad Schilat is now safely at home in Israel with his family and friends.
Gilad Schalit Arrives In Israel
Schalit Boards IAF Helicopter On Way Home To Mitzpe Hila
The LORD bless thee, Gilad Schalit, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. Taken from Numbers 6:24-27
A gaunt looking Gilad Schilat being interrogated in the live video below, immediately after arriving in Egypt from Gaza, and before being reunited with his loved ones and friends in Israel, was forced to respond to extremely insensitive questions being asked by the Egyptian reporter with masked Hamas terrorists surrounding him during the questioning. Schalit was obviously having trouble breathing during the interrogation, and looked exhausted and confused, yet Amin kept on presenting him with questions, many of them absurd and ridiculous, Read about it here.
Pictures of a holocaust survivor who escaped the death camps of Auschwitz come to mind after viewing the pictures of the young Jewish soldier, so thin and frail with his eyes sunken in. It is only by the love and hand of our heavenly Father Jesus Christ, and the Jewish Messiah who answered the prayers of untold numbers of Jewish people and Christians around the world that saw Gilad through this horrible ordeal, and for that we give our heartfelt gratitude. Our Lord has brought Gilad home to Israel where he is now in safe territory, and surely He will heal him. My friends, let us all pray for Gilad’s quick recovery, and rejoice with our Israeli brothers and sisters over this miraculous event.

If this was the release I think it is and it was dependent on Israel releasing many terrorists held by them back to the other side, so they could continue waging war against Israel - then it was on another blogsite, someone made the observation that it goes to the true moral value held by a nation, in this case Israel, that they would value so highly the life of someone innocent and held captive, threatened by enemies, that the life of this one individual was so dear to Israel, it was valued in terms of high numbers of the terrorists being released in exchange. And that does go as a testament, to a nation, when it values highly the life of one innocent person, that person can be measured in terms of much higher numbers of terrorists, with the terrorists being worth that much less. I did read that point somewhere though and thought it was interesting - if this is the same case I am reading about, which I think it is. It is a self-evident matter, in other words, that goes to the heart of what it is meant, to be a more civilized nation, Israel I am saying.
ReplyDeleteHello Anonymous:
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment.
How very true that this prisoner release shows the deep love and value that the people of Israel have over a human life. It speaks of the heart and soul of a people group.
This love parallels the kind of 'agape' love that the Father God and His Son, Jesus Christ have for the people on earth. Jesus would go to the ends of the earth to save one lost sheep, as He has done in this case, to bring his child home.
How ironic the love of Christ is shown through the people of Israel, the same people the world hates and the world accused of killing the Messiah!!
Jesus, the Messiah of Israel and Saviour of the world is indeed working though His people of Israel, making Himself known once again to the world, to those who have eyes to see.

That is a wonderful and beautiful way to explain it. God bless you too.

Thank you, Yuri. I am at a loss for words. It's incredible that Netanyahu would be a "willing partner" to participate is such a deal, but the investigative reporter Barry Chamish sounded legit. I bookmarked the site as it seems like a very reliable site.

Shalom Toni,
ReplyDeleteThere are several good speakers that I listen to on a regular basis on that site. Namely, Dr. Stan Monteith,
Robert (Bob) Chapman, Barry Chamish (although he can be a little out there sometimes) and a few others.
It's a very good site for getting inside information on whats really going on.
Have a great week.
