Global March To Jerusalem Turned Out To Be A Dud

Thanks be to our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Global March To Jerusalem on March 30, 2012 turned out to be a dud. Not that the dark evil forces surrounding Israel won't try again, but the prayers of the saints for this time around were answered mightily by our God.

It was anticipated that as many as two million Arabs and foreign pro-Palestinian activists would storm Israel's borders from all sides and infiltrate Jerusalem in order to protest the "Judaization" of the city. Even Israel was taking the threat seriously, and put a large amount of reserve military forces on alert for possible call-up. But in the end, the Global March to Jerusalem was a dud.

Several thousand people did gather at protest sites in Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Gaza and the Palestinian Authority-controlled areas of Judea and Samaria. But the numbers were far lighter than originally threatened, and most Israelis were barely aware that there was a protest happening.

The most notable of the protests outside Israel's borders happened in neighboring Jordan, but only because those few Jews who had chosen to side with their nation's enemies were nevertheless attacked by local Muslims. A delegation from the anti-Zionist Neturei Karta movement, most of them Americans, attended the protests in Jordan and Lebanon. At the start of the event in Jordan, four Neturei Karta members were beaten by Jordanian Arabs before being rescued by other participants.

A handful of Jordanian youth did try to cross the border into Israel, but were stopped by Jordanian police. It was estimated that around 30,000-40,000 people gathered in Jordan.

In Lebanon no more than 7,000 gathered at the Beaufort Crusader fortress near Israel's northern border to hear fiery speeches by Hizballah, Hamas and Palestinian Authority officials.

The turnout in war-torn Syria was negligible, with just a few hundred gathering in Damascus to chant anti-Israel slogans.

The situation was a bit more tense in Gaza and the Palestinian-controlled parts of Judea and Samaria.

In Gaza, thousands of Arab protesters attempted to approach the security fence separating the Hamas-ruled coastal strip from southern Israel. At least 29 people were wounded and one man was killed in clashes with Israeli soldiers stationed along the security fence.

In the so-called "West Bank," a handful of protesters were wounded, and Israeli forces arrested 34 violent activists. The most intense action occurred at the Kalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, where demonstrators hurled stones and firebombs at Israeli soldiers, who responded with a variety of crowd control weapons, including tear gas, sound blasts and foul-smelling water.

Israeli military officials said that the demonstrations had not been particularly severe, and were pleased with the army's handling of the situation.

Despite the low casualty rate and the meager turnout for the "Land Day" events, Amnesty International still felt the need to issue a public condemnation over what it called Israel's use of "excessive force" against the demonstrators.

Unwilling to admit that their stunt had largely fizzled into small localized protests, the organizers of the Global March to Jerusalem declared it a great success. Lead coordinator Ribhi Halloum claimed that activists from 84 nations had participated, and that the number of countries represented was far more important than the overall number of participants. Global March To Jerusalem To Bring One Million Arabs To Israel’s Border March 30, 2012

Deja Vu? Another "March to Jerusalem" aims at rallying one million people to march on Israel’s borders from surrounding countries.

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. Zechariah 12:2-3

Imagine one million Arabs marching on little Israel’s borders from surrounding nations!

That is on the upcoming arab agenda for March 30, 2012 if the BDS movement has their way.

David Ben-Gurion, the first Prime Minister of the Jewish State of Israel in 1949 declared that Jerusalem was the eternal capital of the Jewish State. This is not the first time this had been declared. Over three thousand years ago, this same Jerusalem was declared to be Israel’s capital by the second King of Israel, King David,

Under the Davidic Covenant, recorded in II Samuel 7:10, the LORD promised that He would give His people Israel a place and plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more. In our day, the LORD has brought His people back to the land of Israel as promised. Amos 9:14-15, Ezekiel 37:21-22, Ezekiel 28:25-26, Jeremiah 50:20.



Psalm 132 :13, 14 tells us that the LORD has chosen Zion for His habitation. That is my rest forever; here I will dwell; for I have desired it.

The new earth called for in Isaiah 65:18,19 tells us that the LORD will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people; and the voice of weeping shall be no more. A repentant and believing section of the Jewish people will form the nucleus of the population. Revelation 21:1-4 tells us of a new earth and the holy city new Jerusalem coming down from God.

Jerusalem is God’s eternal city and He is fulfilling His Word  to the Jewish people, as we have seen by their return to the land of their forefathers by a miracle of God, and He will take them the rest of the way back to Him.

IDF Gears Up For Global March To Jerusalem

As the IDF gears up for the arab enemies of Israel or forces of darkness participating in the global March To Jerusalem, all we have to do is take a look at God's Word to see that we are now living in the (evil) day, or season the Lord's prophet Zechariah spoke of in Zechariah 12:3,9. The forces of evil and darkness will do everything within their power to destroy Israel and the Jewish people. We must remember though that satan and his demonic forces are under the control of God Himself and can only do what God allows. God is allowing these things to happen because He wants His people to turn to His Son, Jesus Christ and the power of the Cross, because Jesus Christ, who bruised the serpents head Genesis 3:15, will one day soon return to Israel to set up His Kingdom on earth. Satan hates the Cross of Christ because that is where Satan was defeated. Pray for the people of Israel and all over the Middle East that they will turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, and embrace His love for Israel and the Jewish people.

The IDF is gearing up to a possible storming of Israeli borders as part of the Global March to Jerusalem set for Friday, March 30. Israel has issued a clear warning to Arab states and the Palestinian Authority against allowing the march.

Soldiers deployed along Israel's borders have been instructed to increase their level of alert. IDF preparations are based on the "Summer Seeds" operation which was meant to tackle any flare-up following last year's Palestinian statehood bid. Israel feared major Arab and Palestinian riots at the time.

Over the weekend, the London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper reported that Israel sent a warning to the governments of Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Hamas in Gaza and the Palestinian Authority following the Nakba and Naksa day events. Israel demanded that they not to allow marches on its borders which could escalate the situation in the region.

A Turkish activist said that "we are reminded of what the Ayatollah Khamenei said; that were every Muslim to throw a bucket of water at the Israeli entity, it would sink." The activist called on all Muslims to follow Khamenei's path in order to free Palestine. Full story at YNetNews

Former Obama Pastor Endorses March on Jerusalem

Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who was US President Barack Obama's pastor for 20 years at the Trinity United Church of Christ on Chicago's south side, has endorsed the planned "March to Jerusalem" slated for March 30th.

It follows on the heels of the anti-Israel, anti-Semitic Doha Conference in Qatar on the Defense of ‘Occupied’ Jerusalem," a two day long effort to demonize Israel and deny Judaism’s more than three thousand year connection to Jerusalem.


Both events are designed to reverse what their organizers call the "Judaization" of "occupied Jerusalem."

Another Israel Border 'Uprising' Provacation Planned By Palestinian Supporters June 5, 2011

Determined to break the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Port which is controlled by the terrorist group Hamas, the same Palestinian supporter thugs that planned the border uprising and attempted to breach Israel’s borders on three fronts May 15 have planned a June 5, (the same day the 6-Day War started in 1967, when Israel's arab neighbors prepared to attack Israel in a massive military  build up on Israel's borders, Israel was forced to defend itself, when Israel miraculously  took over Judea and Samaria, reunited  East Jerusalem with West Jerusalem, took  the Gaza Strip and the Golan Heights on Israel's border with Lebanon),  Israel “border uprising” followed by a flotilla of several ships from around the world sometime in June,  one of which is from America and has the same name as Obama’s book “Audacity of Hope”, supposedly carrying supplies. It's deja vu all over again with the same enemy arab  states,only this time  using their terror proxies, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hizballah, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC), the Palestine Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Abu Musa's Fatah-the-Intifada, George Habash's Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and many others   to start another war with Israel.

Interesting, Obama has not publically condemned an American ship which bears the name of his book out to create havoc and harm to America’s only loyal ally in the Middle East, Israel.

What really is troublesome is that Egypt, a former peace partner with Israel, has now broken the blockade on the border with Gaza and is opening its only crossing with the Gaza Strip this coming weekend so if these ships were really interested in bringing “humanitarian aid” into Gaza, they could do this by easily going by way of Egypt. The whole point of the blockade to begin with was to keep weapons smuggling out.

The ploy of another major terrorist mob rushing to breach Israel’s borders is to cause another provacation with Israel, cause Israel to defend itself against an uncontrolled mob, and make Israel to look to be “the bad guy”in the eyes of the world, and gain more support for a “Palestinian state” inside of Israel without negotiations with Israel.

 Eventually, and probably very soon, the anger of the world will come against Israel because Israel will not heed to the demands of its neighboring  enemies that want Israel gone.

Jerusalem will become more of a “burdensome stone” in the days ahead fulfilling Zechariah 12:3, as the conditions for a peaceful solution will never be met; even though we may see Prime Minister Netanyahu agree to a two state solution, and land concessions publically, I think the Prime Minister is doing so to get the United States off of his back. We all know there will be conditions that will have to be agreed to by both sides before a two state solution can be implemented, and these conditions will never be met by either party

Where Is America In Bible Prophecy?

While I do not agree with him on everything he writes, I like Walid Shoebat because he gives a clear Bible picture with a different perspective than your mainline evangelical so called self-proclaimed Bible scholars. Such is the case in his latest article "Where Is America In Bible Prophecy?"

This scripturally docomented article by Walid Shoebat that all nations will come under "the antichrist" certainly blows holes in the theory taught by many of those self-proclaimed Bible scholars in the pre-trib camp. For years it has been taught be these same so called scholars that America is not found in Bible prophecy. However, not only does the following article by Walid Shoebat give credible scriptural evidence that America may indeed to be found in Bible prophecy, and according to Mr. Shoebat, the opposite of what multitudes have been taught may be true.

For many years, it has been taught that in the Last-Days literally every nation of the earth – including the United States – will be utterly dominated by the Antichrist; there will be no place to escape from the dreaded Mark of the Beast; every last nation of the world will come against Jerusalem. Zechariah 12 is usually used to validate the theory, as is the Apostle John. After all, the Antichrist will be given “authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation,” (Revelation 13:7).

This would seem like an ironclad case for the Antichrist ruling the globe, including the United States, which he uses in his march against Jerusalem. It is this dilemma that caused many to believe that the United States will be taken over by Antichrist.

Before we attempt to solve this issue, it is necessary to clarify the dilemma. For this, we can ask a Jesus-style question: does the usage of the phrase, “the whole earth” and “every tribe, tongue and nation” in the Bible mean “the entire globe”? If so, then did Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4:1 send his letter to every nation, tribe and tongue in the “entire globe”?

“Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.” (Daniel 4:1)

“O king, the Most High God gave your father Nebuchadnezzar sovereignty and greatness and glory and splendor. Because of the high position he gave him, all the peoples and nations and men of every language dreaded and feared him,” (Daniel 5:18, 19).

How about…

“Men of all nations came to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, sent by all the kings of the world, who had heard of his wisdom,” (I Kings 4:34)

Did anyone visit Solomon from China?

How about…

“Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt,” (2 Kings 17:29).

Did the inhabitants of every last nation of the earth have Samaritan gods in their homes?

How about…

“the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries.” Isaiah 37:18

Did King Sennacherib of Assyria actually destroy all nations on the face of the earth?

How about…

“As I was considering, suddenly a male goat came from the west, across the surface of the whole earth,” (Daniel 8:5).

Did Alexander the Great occupy the whole earth?

So then, let us offer a new perspective regarding the end-times verses:

Zechariah 14:2 “For I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem for battle”
Matthew 25:32 “I will also gather all nations”
Joel 3:2 “I will gather all nations”

Such verses should not be isolated. In context, Zechariah 12 only encompasses the surrounding nations:

“I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves,” (Zechariah 12:2-3).

In Joel 3:12 we find the same:

“Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.”

“The surrounding peoples” and “all the nations of the earth” are two references pertaining to the same people; “all the nations” and “the earth” is not the entire globe, though the translation may seem to allude to it as such. The problem is that the translation at times makes it difficult since – in English – “the earth” tends to mean “the entire globe” and in Hebrew the word “Eretz” commonly means “the land” and not “the entire globe.”

Then we have the culture. In ancient Hebrew, we find a grammatical construct that makes emphatic statements in order to convey a point, whereas using hyperbole is extremely common in eastern cultures. Elaborating on the exceptions would entirely blunt the impact of the statement. For instance, imagine a speed limit sign that listed the exceptions painted on it, “speed limit 55—except ambulances, fire trucks, police giving chase, etc.” Thus, exceptions cannot be ruled out on the basis of exclusive language. This type of language is actually found quite frequently in the Bible. Throughout the prophecies of end-times the Bible is speaking of a regional war and not global (Ezekiel 36:4, 5, Psalm 79:12, Jeremiah 12:14, Ezekiel 28-32).

One common argument I always get is an objection that “the earth” is meant to be “the known world,” that today’s “known world” must then encompass the entire globe. This assumption is false since all “Four Beasts” in Daniel chapter 7 arise out of “the Great Sea” (Daniel 7:2). “The Great Sea” is the Mediterranean region, not the entire globe. That with all the literal nations of end-times encompasses only the Middle East and Asia Minor. If the first beast (Babylon), second beast (Medo-Persia) and third beast (Greece) all were out within the “Great Sea” (Mediterranean) then the fourth beast of Daniel 7 could only pertain to the Mediterranean Sea as well.

To make the Antichrist rule a global one, many western interpreters today allegorize “The Great Sea” as “the sea of humanity.” In so doing, we lose the meaning and the intent of the prophecy. This reference to “The Great Sea” cannot be an allegory pertaining to the “sea of humanity” since every verse in the Bible refers to “The Great Sea” as the Mediterranean Sea (see Num 34:6-7, Jos 1:4, Jos 9:1, Jos 15:12, Jos 15:47, Jos 23:4, Ezek 47:10, 15, 19, 20, Ezek 48: 28).

The Bible makes every effort to clarify that the nations surrounding Israel are the ones to which it is referring:

“And render unto our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord,” (Psalm 79:12).
