It's obvious Jimmy Carter and 'Time' is not familiar with the political, biblical and war history of the Jewish people of Israel.
Former President Jimmy Carter says Israel will face a "catastrophe" unless it revives the Mideast peace process and establishes an independent Palestinian state.
Carter pointed out in an interview with The Associated Press on Monday that Arabs will outnumber Jews in the Holy Land in the foreseeable future. More
'Time' says 'Israel Can't Win' on its cover.
Jimmy Carter and 'Time' would do well to learn of the "God Factor' when it comes to the Jewish people of Israel and the political, biblical and war history of the Jewish people.
After almost 2600 years of the Jews being driven from Jerusalem by the Babylonians, over 1900 years after being driven out by the Romans and forced to live amongst hostile murderous European peoples, and immediately after the State of Israel was reborn five well equipped arab armies attempted to destroy the new Jewish state and lost and 60 years later, and war after war, the Jews are still in Jerusalem, Israel and they have not been able to succeed nor will they ever succeed in destroying them, wipe them off the map or drive them into the sea because God has an eternal covenant to be fulfilled through them: "And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. Genesis 17:7
It's time for Jimmy Carter and 'Time', the anti-semitic nations of the world, and Israel's hostile neighbors, the arabs to come to realize that Israel is on the map to stay and is headed for a marvelous and victorious destiny headed up by God himself out of Jerusalem, Israel inspite of Israel's trials and tribulation and chastisement by God, He is not finished with Israel, and it is they that are headed for castastrophe and cannot win.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Psalm 121:4
