Have you noticed the perplexity of the world's problems today? The Lord Jesus Christ told us this would be one of the signs that would occur just before the coming of the Son of Man. Luke's Gospel records the words of the Lord.
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring." Luke 21:25.
Perplexed means to be filled with uncertainty, full of difficulty. Puzzled. A problem or a situation difficult to resolve. Strong's Greek Dictionary describes perplexity as to have no way out, i.e., be at a loss (mentally):-- (stand in) doubt, be perplexed.
Most assuredly, this describes the condition of the entire world today. The American financial system is falling apart at the seams. There are calls for a one world global system by the UN chief , and when this happens, national sovereignty will be completely lost as all nations will fall in line, and even a call by Gordon Brown for a new global financial order. The dictator Chavez is even proclaming the route to salvation of the world is through socialism. I can almost hear the footsteps of the son of perdition arriving on the scene to solve all of the world's ills. The problems the world faces today are far too great and difficult for single governments to solve as governmental corruption and greed runs rampant. Record setting natural disasters on a worldwide basis are occurring at an alarming rate and magnitude.
In essence, what we are witnessing is a financial Armageddon, with Great Britain and the United States of America experiencing a financial meltdown that will have a domino effect all around the world. I don't believe in coincidences as nothing is a coincidence with God. It just so happens that Tony Blair and George W. Bush have been the two biggest pushers of a land for peace deal, dividing up God's chosen land and city of Jerusalem, Israel, and both nations are experiencing God's judgment because of their persistent push to divide the land of Israel. It's later than most think.
Christians need not fear all that we see happening on a global scale today, but now more than ever, we need to be in tune with the Holy Spirit and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and His Word, and watch and pray always that we may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Now is the time for us to be "salt" and "light" wherever the Lord has planted us in a dark, dark world lost and crumbling and sinking in its sin.
Jesus said: Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Friends, we are living in the generation that is seeing the fulfillment of all of the things Jesus spoke of in His Parable of the Fig Tree in Luke 21 and time is very, very short. We need to be about the Lord's business, winning souls, as nothing in this world really is more important and has such a high priority as this in the short time we have left here

The Trinity of Jesus Christ Denied-Jesus Is Not God Confusion
Friends, there is considerable disinformation floating around the Christian blogsphere that I have noticed and basically, it denies the divinity and trinity of the Lord Jesus Christ and says that Jesus is not God, and in this article I will attempt to clear up any confusion that this person seems to have set forth in his writing here. The writer does not use any scripture to verify the claims he sets forth regarding the denying of the trinity and divinity of Jesus Christ, so whenever we see this, we must set the record straight concerning false claims, either unwittingly or otherwise, that these claims do not go unchecked against the Holy Scriptures. The writer appears confused over this as he says:
"On Earth, Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us. He was the Messiah, the Annointed One, the Son of God, and the Son of Man. He was born a Virgin Birth, and died for our sins. He was the only one to ever live a sinless life. He became a mediator between man and God, because our sins are forgiven through his perfect human sacrifice (whereas, in the OT they had to sacrifice animals for forgiveness-we have Christ’s perfect sacrifice for eternity).
However, Jesus is not God exactly, because they are different. God can’t be created, yet it says Jesus was created (Both spiritually and in human form). Jesus is the light, the way, and the truth. Those who seek him (ie his teachings/sacrifice) will not perish, but find everlasting life. He was the light that shines to God. He knows how God wants us to live, and He showed us his perfect example in his life on Earth. He has authority over us, but that authority is given by God. So follow his way and we won’t perish.
He is not God exactly, but being God's unique son, is like God. Just like my son may be just like me, but not me exactly. He was filled with the spirit and will of God. But God is greater than Jesus. Even Jesus said this himself."

The Bible declares that God never changes and the Bible declares that Jesus Christ never changes.Written in Malachi 3:6 "For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."And written in Hebrews 13:8: "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever.
"The Bible further declares that God created the universe and the earth by Himself in Isaiah 44:24: "I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself." and "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Clearly, the verse from Isaiah above and Hebrews here show that Jesus Christ and God are one in the same, as will the following verses from Scripture.Further, the Apostle Paul wrote in Colossians 1:16 "By him [Jesus] were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth....all things were created by him, and for him.John, written by the disciple whom Jesus loved, tells us who Jesus was and what He is more than any other:
"All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made." John 1:3John declares that both God and Jesus Christ are the Word:

To this I say to you from the foregoing and following Scriptures of truth, the Bible clearly show the divinity, Trinity and that Jesus is God without a doubt, and to not believe this puts one in danger of still being in their sins:
"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
" Matthew 1:23Jesus said "I and my Father are one. John 10:30""For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, The Word, and the Holy Ghost; and THESE THREE ARE ONE" 1 John 5:7"
"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus; Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God; But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." Philippians 3:5-8
And Thomas answered and said unto him [Jesus] "My Lord and MY GOD." John 20:28
"For unto us a Child Is Born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. The same was in the beginning WITH God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, AND DWELT AMONG US. (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:1-4,14
The writer further mentions that
"Jesus was the firstborn of all creation. God created Jesus before anything else, and through Jesus all else was created by the commands of God. Jesus is the light (hence, notice in Genesis the first thing mentioned in creation is light)"

Neither Jesus nor God were created; they always were, as the beforementioned scriptures declare. While Colossians 1:15 tells us that Jesus was the firstborn of every creature, it also tells us that he is the IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD.
I am sure I could find several other scriptures that declare Jesus Christ is God, but suffice to say I believe the foregoing show without a doubt His absolute divinity, the Trinity and that He is God incarnate.
I certainly pray that I have helped to clear up some of the confusion this person has concerning the divinity of Jesus Christ, the Holy Trinity, and Jesus is God.

A Lesson From Jonah
One of my most favorite stories in all of the Bible is the story of Jonah which gives us a wonderful example of the mercy and compassion of God, and the need for all of us to examine our own hearts from time to time as the world grows darker and darker from sin and wickedness abounding in these last days. Looking around us today in a world full of wickedness and evil, I often hear Christians speaking of how can anyone possibly find God's mercy and show compassion toward some of the evil people we as Christians are called to show mercy to; in that respect, though, we become like Jonah when our hearts are to become more and more like Christ. As Jesus hung on the cross for our sins, he showed mercy and compassion toward those who crucified him and he prayed Father forgive them; for they know not what they do. Luke 33:34. It is so easy to forget that we ourselves are sinners, though forgiven, by God's grace, mercy and compassion toward us.
Lori from Persevere has written a short message on this very topic of Jonah's anger at God's mercy and compassion, which can speak to all of our hearts if we will allow it to. Or, the other choice is to become angry at God, which only takes one further away from becoming more like Christ, which is what we are called to do inspite of our own human desires and weakness.

Violence Against Christians in India Spreads While Mainstream Media Ignores It
Recently, I reported here of the brutal massacre of Christians in Orissa by Hindus and the urgent need to pray for our brothers and sisters in India; and now Word And Verse is reporting that this Hindus violence is spreading to other areas of India and muslims are now involved in the unprovoked attacks upon Christians while the media and nations of the world,as usual, turn a blind eye while Christians are being killed and their places of worship destroyed. It certainly does appear that this is a well thought out plan to eradicate Christians from India and Christians all over need to continue to lift up to our Lord Jesus Christ our Christian brothers and sisters in India.

It’s “amazing” how mainstream media hasn’t managed to pick up on this development in India. I guess news about a group of people being persecuted and killed for their faith isn’t important. I’ve been keeping tabs on the developments in Orissa for awhile now and the fact that it has now spread to a second State in India (updated on Tuesday, 16 September 2008) is very worrying indeed.

5. I have lost more jobs as a medical professional than I can count on two hands witnessing for the Lord, but He has always opened up another door, far better than the one which was closed.
6. When I was only 22 years old, I was in a coma for 12 days, not expected to live. I proved all the doctors wrong.
7. I am single, but I have a very special partner and soul mate.
8. Someday I want to go to Texas again to visit my sister.

Catholic Church Publishes New Indian Bible With Hindu References

According to this Christian Post article from August of this year, the Catholic church is publishing, mixing and endorsing Hindu teachings from the Bhagavad Gita and incorporating them into a new Indian "Bible" called the New Community Bible which depicts Jesus, Mary and Joseph as poor Indian villagers, and passing it off as Christianity. Mary wears a simple sari and has a bindi on her forehead alongside Joseph in a turban and loincloth.
According to this Christian Post article from August of this year, the Catholic church is publishing, mixing and endorsing Hindu teachings from the Bhagavad Gita and incorporating them into a new Indian "Bible" called the New Community Bible which depicts Jesus, Mary and Joseph as poor Indian villagers, and passing it off as Christianity. - According to the 30 Indian biblical scholars who worked for more than 15 years on the new edition, the Bible draws on "the rich cultural and religious heritage of India."
Needless to say, this will present a complete distortion of the true Gospel message of Jesus Christ as written in the holy scriptures, and is condemned by Jesus Christ himself where it is writtten in Revelation Chapter 22 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book." 18.
Friends, we need to be as the Apostle Paul, "That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love," and stay away from any and all teachings that divert from the absolute truth presented in the Word of God, the Bible and warn our Indian friends and others of this newest diversion tactic from the Catholic church that leads others away from the truth of God's Word.
We as Christians need to follow the instructions of the beloved Apostle Paul, be rooted and grounded in the Word of God, and "preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." II Timothy 4:2-4

The Christian basher Arianna Huff-and-Puff of the Huffington Post, calling Christians "brainwashed Christianists", is at it again, this time over Governor Sarah Palin's church's ministry for homosexuals which believes in the power of God and prayer and that homosexuals can be set free from the destructive and sinful lifestyle of homosexuality through the power of prayer.
Perhaps huff-and-puff Arianna could better put her writing talents [or lack of] to better use and write about the multitudes of homosexuals and lesbians in her narrow-minded, left-wing tabloid, who today are praising and thanking God through Jesus Christ for being set free from this sin, which God calls an abomination, through this very power that Governor Sarah Palin's church knows to be true. As it is written ~~
"Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" Romans 8:37

Ten “Christians” God Will Not Allow Into Heaven

So you say you are a Christian and think you are on your way to heaven when you die or Christ returns, which ever comes first? You claim to know and love God and do all the right things. Even the demons believe there is a God and know who Jesus Christ is. Here's a little test to take as now is the time, before it is too late, to re-examine your heart with the Word of God.

Sarah Palin's Church Has 'Jews For Jesus' David Brickner As Speaker
Here's a most interesting article I found on The Jews For Jesus Blog written by David Brickner, who was at Governor Sarah Palin's church last month in Wasilla, Alaska preaching a message from Matthew 23: 37-39, titled, "The Jerusalem Dilemma," which made reference to sin and judgment, and the need for all people, both Jews or Gentiles, to repent and seek forgiveness through Y'shua.
In their usual fashion, it didn't take long, as you will soon see, for the left mainstream anti-Israel, anti Sarah Palin media to get ahold of this message, twist it's entire content and message and turn it into something that was not said at all. Here, from David's message, I quote:
- "I pointed to the many conflicts and tragedies that we hear about daily on the news, as evidence that the whole world is suffering the effects of sin and stands under God's judgment; that we all need the grace and forgiveness of God found only in Christ. These are no more or less than basic tenets of the Christian faith. Then I spoke of God's great love for Israel and for the world, and shared the encouraging news of how many Israelis are now open to hearing about Jesus." Continues

Florida Women's Group to Boycott Oprah
OneNewsNow is reporting that a Florida women's group will be boycotting Oprah because Oprah refuses to have Governor Palin on her show. It looks like Obama is not doing too well in Florida these days, and it just may be that Oprah's refusal to have Governor Sarah Palin on her show may cause a huge backlash against Obama. I would like to take this opportunity to comment on this and say it is no great loss that New Ager Oprah Winfrey refuses to have Christian Governor and VP nominee Sarah Palin on her show. Since it is quite apparent that New Age spirituality promoter Oprah Winfrey, who believes that there are many paths to God, and as this interview shows, Obama apparently agrees with Oprah, perhaps Oprah believes she has nothing in common with the extraordinary gifted and popular Governor Sarah Palin and perhaps Oprah feels threatened by Governor Palin's Christianity and popularity.
As far as Governor Palin is concerned, there are already millions upon millions of American women who love and identify with Sarah Palin, and she doesn't need Oprah Winfrey to promote her on her show. The Apostle Paul says it best, when he wrote to the Corinthians:
"Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, 'I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,' says the Lord. ' (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).

Florida may be falling from Obama's grasp
I would like to take this opportunity to comment on this and say it is no great loss that New Ager Oprah Winfrey refuses to have Christian Governor and VP nominee Sarah Palin on her show. Since it is quite apparent that New Age spirituality promoter Oprah Winfrey, who believes that there are many paths to God, and as this interview shows, Obama apparently agrees with Oprah, perhaps Oprah believes she has nothing in common with the extraordinary gifted and popular Governor Sarah Palin and perhaps Oprah feels threatened by Governor Palin's Christianity and popularity.
As far as Governor Palin is concerned, there are already millions upon millions of American women who love and identify with Sarah Palin, and she doesn't need Oprah Winfrey to promote her on her show. The Apostle Paul says it best, when he wrote to the Corinthians:
"Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, 'I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,' says the Lord. ' (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
