Mosab Hassan Yousef, Son Of Hamas Founder, Granted Asylum In The United States

I have just learned of the wonderful news of the judge's ruling in Mosab Hassan Yousef, Son of Hamas’ deportation case today and the judge has ruled in favor of Mosab Yousef; “Joseph” as he is known by, will be allowed to stay in the United States of America. You will recall that Obama's Homeland Security Department was attempting to get "Joseph" deported back to Hamas territory, where he would certainly have been killed, which is total insanity on the part of the Homeland Security Department.  According to one report out of Israel, many saw the effort to deport Yousef as a two-faced move by the Obama Administration, which claims to be fighting terrorism, but at the same time tip-toes around groups like Hamas and their Palestinian supporters.

 "Joseph" put his own life in great peril because he converted from islam when he found the true God, Jesus Christ, and converted to  Christianity, and then went on to spy for Israel against Hamas.while living in Hamas territory for ten years, saving untold numbers of Israeli, American and Arab lives.  This Christian brother still needs our prayers for his continuous protection, even though he is now in the United States.

While the pro-Hamas,  anti-semitic BBC is playing dumb in its reporting on the judge's  decision today, it is a well known fact that an Israeli Shin Bet agent,  who worked very closely with “Joseph” while “Joseph” was working as an espionage agent for the Israelis helping to reign in Hamas terrorists, and United States congressmen testified on behalf of this former muslim and now our Christian brother, “Joseph”. Just prior to today’s hearing, Mosab Yousef was presented with a letter from the Israeli Knesset thanking him “who for a decade was an important source of intelligence for the Shin Bet security service source.” Emet, a pro-Israel think-tank, awarded Yousef its Speaker of Truth award.

Breaking News: Government Dismisses Deportation Case Against Mosab Hassan Yousef

EMET has just received word directly from Mosab that the Government has officially dismissed its deportation case against Mosab Hassan Yousef at a federal detention center in San Diego.

Mosab has told us that it was thanks to the efforts of EMET that the government decided to dismiss its case and grant him political asylum.

EMET is enormously grateful to all those who played a part in standing with Mosab during this time, and helping the Department of Homeland Security come to understand what a grave error deporting Mosab would have been.

A special thank you is due to Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO), who authored a letter to DHS secretary Janet Napolitano, co-sponsored with 21 other Representatives. We wish to thank each and every representative who added their names to this call for sanity and to do right by a man who has stood up to terrorism and hatred, at a great personal cost.

Thanks also to former Ambassador R. James Woolsey, who also wrote a letter on Mosab’s behalf, and to all those who called, wrote, or emailed their congressional representatives and the White House on behalf of seeing justice done

Homeland Security Against Son of Hamas-Mosab Yousef

As incredible and ludicrous as this is, Homeland Security under the Obama Administration is against Son of Hamas, or Mosab Yousef, who converted from Islam to Christianity and sought asylum in the United States of America, fearing for his life.

The oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a charismatic founding member of Hamas, Mosab Yousef made his newfound faith public and risked everything to expose the secrets of the extremist Islamic organization and reveals the amazing double life he lived trying to prevent the killing of innocents by working with Hamas’ enemies. I have written about Mosab Yousef and his dramatic conversion from Islam to Christianity in different articles here

Joseph, as Mosab Yousef is called, worked for the Israeli Shin Bit in espionage activities, assisting the Israelis in capturing Hamas terrorists after he became a Christian and was very successful in this endeavor in bringing to justice these terrorists. Mosab Yousef has written about these activities and what it entailed in a book Son of Hamas.

Now, the anti-Israel, anti-Christian Homeland Security under the Obama Administration is against Son of Hamas and is out to deport him from the United States of America claiming that Mosab Yousef, while working for the Shin Bit, provided material support to the terrorist organization, Hamas. Of course this is not true. If it weren’t for the assistance Mosab Yousef gave to the Israeli Shin Bit, these Hamas terrorists would not have seen justice provided by the Israelis. Joseph needs all the prayers of everyone who reads about this and that is why I am making it known here. He is now in danger of being deported, and killed. Please pray for his protection and that Joseph will find favor with the Homeland Security Immigration Customs Enforcement judge at a hearing June 30,2010 in San Diego.

This isn’t the first time Immigration authorities indicated they wanted to deport this Christian brother on fabricated charges.

The move to deport Yousef began shortly after he came to the United States from Israel in 2007. On August 22, he filed an application for asylum. He was interviewed a month later, and on February 23, 2009, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service informed him that he was barred from a grant of asylum, according to the records of File#: A 088 271 051, “because there were reasonable grounds for believing he was a danger to the security of the United States and because he engaged in terrorist activity.” Read the rest of this story here.

Update on Mosab Hassan Yousef, Son of Hamas Leader Who Became A Christian

Recently, I reported here that Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of Hamas West Bank leader, became a Christian and I have since come across an update today to his story from the Telegraph out of the UK and I think the world should know about this. Joseph, as he is now known, has a deep love for his family who he left behind in Ramallah for his new life in America as a Christian as it was impossible for him to continue living in such a violent environment. Joseph also gives us a glimpse of his future plans in this writing. As you read further, please keep Joseph and his family in Ramallah in your prayers. Joseph says:

"I knew from the beginning my family would face an impossible situation. It wasn't their choice but they have had to carry it with me. It's difficult for my mother, she's crying all day long. Every time I talk to her, she's crying."

His mother, Salsabin, told The Daily Telegraph that she and her children were "in daily contact with Mosab" but she declined to comment further on his new life.

Mr Yousef said that his father, who has spent more than a decade in Israeli jails for his involvement with Hamas, was in prison when he "got the worst news in his life" - that his son had become a Christian and left Ramallah. "But at the same time he sent me a message of love.

Interview With Hamas' Leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef's Son Who Converted to Christianity

Earlier, I reported the conversion of Joseph, son of Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef, who converted to Christianity.

Following is the full interview of Joseph, from a California cafe, as written in the Israeli media Haaretz, wherein he speaks of his dad Sheikh Hassan Yousef, his life in Ramallah surrounded by Hamas members, and the relationship he had with his dad. He also speaks about his conversion to Christianity, when and how it all came to be, which I am confident will inspire you after reading his story. This is one interview well worth the read. This is a true miracle from God in the making and we can only pray that this story will touch and influence many others who are seeking a true relationship with the Lord of the universe, Jesus Christ. May the Lord watch over Joseph and keep him safe and may his testimony bring many more muslims to know the true God, through Jesus Christ

• We met for the first time about four years ago, outside the military prison at the Ofer Camp, only about half a kilometer from the family home in the town of Bitunia, near Ramallah. His father, not a member of parliament at the time, was one of the founders of Hamas in the West Bank and one of the prisoners' leaders; he was supposed to be released after several years' imprisonment for membership in the organization. In order to arrange an interview with Sheikh Hassan Yousef (Abu Masab), I had to speak to his eldest son, Masab, who was expected to take an active part in running his father's political affairs in the future. When I saw him in the prison parking lot I was surprised by his unusual appearance, which deviated from the dress code expected of relatives of senior Hamas leaders. Without a beard or even a goatee, he sported a Western haircut, jeans and a motorcyclist's leather jacket. But the media uproar that accompanied his father's appearance made me forget his "improper" appearance.

Since then, the young man has hardly changed. He is 30 years old and has lost several kilos ("because I don't eat much"), his hair is short, he is suntanned and looks like just another young Israeli in California. Most of the interview is conducted in English, mostly so that his friend Ryan will understand. "As a child I grew up in a very religious family, on the principle of hatred of Israelis. The first time I encountered them was at about the age of 10, when soldiers entered our home and arrested my father. Until then I had never been separated from him. We didn't know anything about the circumstances of his arrest. His membership in Hamas was a secret matter, and we certainly didn't think he was one of its founders. I didn't understand anything about politics or religion. I only knew that the Israeli army had arrested my father repeatedly, and for me he was everything: a good, loving man who would do anything for me. More here:
