Obama and McCain's 'Lucky Charms'

Obama and Mc'Cain's "Lucky Charms"

Christians take note when you plan to vote... Here's an interesting article I found on The Independent Conservative. It seems Obama and McCain both depend upon their good luck charms to assist them in their presendential campaign, which amounts to nothing less than idolatry. The first of the Ten Commandments from Exodus 20:3 reads "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." From a Christian perspective, both of these two candidates are disqualified as neither one of them looks to the God of the Bible, Jesus Christ, as their total source of help when needed. Please try to remember that before you cast your vote for either one of these two. You may think "well, there's no one to vote for." That's true, my friends. But I think its better not to vote than to vote for an evil ruler or one that does not put his/her trust in the Lord. The lesser of two evils, whom ever that may be, still equals evil.

Lots of luck -- on campaign trail, closer to home

When the voting booths go dark, presidential hopefuls, Senators Barack Obama and John McCain, have admitted that when the going gets rough on the campaign trail, they look to a few lucky charms to pave the way. (AP)

Obama showcased a pocketful of trinkets to reporters in New Mexico on Tuesday, including a lucky poker chip, an American eagle pen, and a small gold statue of a Hindu monkey god, which he said represent his faith in luck and voters.
McCain, however, has been reported to put his faith in a total of 36 cents -- two nickels, one quarter and a penny found lying heads up on the ground in various cities he has campaigned. Continues here
