Senior Citizens Told They Can’t Pray Before Meals

In a clear violation of their First Amendment rights, senior citizens have been told they can’t pray outloud before meals in the small Georgia town of Port Wentworth near Savannah because the meals are partially paid for with federal funds. This is nothing less than a lie and scare tactics and bullying being forced upon senior citizens, many of whom are "Tea Party participants",and I hope and pray some legal group such as Jay Sekulow or Thomas Moore Law Center comes to the senior’s defense in this fiasco. Read about it here

  • Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
