The world has been put on notice and it can't get any clearer or more official than this. Basically, the Israelis have announced that they will do what is necessary with or without the assistance of the United States or the rest of the world to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, and have begun preparations to act alone if necessary, with the window of opportunity timeline being a year and a half to two years, until 2010.
Based upon this announcement and given the defiance of Iranian president Ahmadinejad and his refusal to cooperate and abandon his desire to obtain the bomb and destroy the Jewish state, we can expect to see a major war break out anytime before the year 2010.

Gustav Heads For the Gulf as Condi Urges The Division of Jerusalem
A massive destructive storm called Gustav is headed directly for the Gulf Coast of America, and again New Orleans is directly in its path while at the same time, Condi Rice pulls a Solomon to split Jerusalem in two and the "palestinian" media is reporting that Rice is urging the division of Jerusalem.
"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the seige both against Judah and against Jerusalem, And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: ALL THAT BURDEN THEMSELVES WITH IT SHALL BE CUT IN PIECES Zechariah 12:2,3
Will the leader of America, meaning President Bush, ever learn to take God and His Word seriously? Here we are three years later almost to the date after Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005 killed 1600 people in one of the worst natural disasters ever to hit America, and totally destroyed the area involved and President Bush and Condi Rice are making the same mistake all over again. At the time Katrina hit New Orleans, the killer hurricane had been forming and directing itself under the watchful eye and control of God himself while just prior to, President Bush and Condi Rice were again busying themselves with the division of God's land in a land for peace give away deal, forcefully uprooting the Jewish people from their homes in Gaza after years of settling there, and also forcefully uprooting the Jewish people from the "West Bank," or Israel's heartland of Judea and Samaria, to give to Israel's enemies known as the Gaza Disengagement. The area of Gaza where the Jewish people made their homes and were prosperous in whatever they raised in the rich soil of the area has been completely destroyed and taken over by the terrorist organization Hamas. And now President Bush wants to divide Jerusalem and give it to these same terrorist enemies of the Jewish people, literally putting a terrorist state inside of Israel.
Friends, there are very serious consequences for dividing God's land and Jerusalem, as He has warned all in His Word, and these are very serious times we are living in. Only the very foolish would deliberately provoke the ire of God, as is being done again with the negotiations of Jerusalem taking place behind closed doors. The Almighty God who keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Psalm 121:4, and there will be a big price to pay for America's involvement in these secret or otherwise negotiations to divide Jerusalem.
The Bible is full of scripture where God used the weather to chasten and or to punish those who were in disobedience and direct defiance to his instructions. When we turn away from our creator God and slap Him in the face continually as has been done, God being a sovereign God can and will, I believe, use whatever means He chooses to humble us, including the weather, to get the attention of those who are not listening to what He has written in His Word. God uses all kinds of means to judge people and nations as the Word of God clearly reveals and one of these means is the weather. This is a major reason why it is of upmost importance to elect righteous officials within the government as ultimately, as a nation, we will reap what we have sown. Concerning the consequences of dividing Israel, I highly recommend the book "Eye to Eye - Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel"

Christian Girls Physically Abused by Denver Cops At Democratic National Convention
Even though these girls were given permission by city officials and police to write protest messages on the sidewalks with chalk against Barack Hussein Obama who supports abortion at the Democrat National Convention in Denver, they were brutally abused by the police for doing just that. Is this America one has to ask themselves and what kind of mentality would do or order such a hostile act against young innocent law abiding citizens demostrating their consititutional right of free speech? Living Free in Christ
Coming In From The Desert has a biblical lesson up that reminds us we can indeed live free in Christ, which is easy for us to forget because of our human nature. This is a very excellent reminder that there is absolutely nothing any of us can do by works to merit our most precious salvation that Christ Jesus has bought with his own blood shed on the Cross of Calvary for us. What we do with our salvation now we do for our Saviour out of love for Him and a debt of gratitude for what He has done for us, even though there really are no words or deeds that could ever repay what the Lord Jesus has done for us.

Israeli Companies Search For Oil Near Judean Desert
Two energy companies out of Israel seem to be persistent and convinced of the idea that there is oil in Israel the Jerusalem Post is reporting, and they may be right. For many years, there have been several who have speculated that there is oil around the Dead Sea area. If this is the case, this could have huge ramifications in placing "hooks in Gog's" jaws, drawing him and his armies down to Israel to take the spoil spoken of in Ezekiel 38:12,13 during Gog-Magog War. I believe this is another event that needs to be watched closely as we head further into the last days and closer to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

The Israeli Parks Authority has in the past, granted permission for exploratory drilling, but environmental groups say any such drilling in this area would destroy the fragile ecosystem in this nature reserve which is the site of the potential oil source. More at link above.
This sounds very promising...

"The drilling and extraction of oil could harm whole populations of rare species," the specialists wrote in their objecting statement. "We believe that the foreseen production does not justify the permit to severely and permanently harm plants and wildlife, as well as the landscape and tourists in an official nature reserve."
The drilling companies, on the other hand, believe there is plenty of oil to be found at the premises, and with rising global prices, declared the enterprise extremely profitable. They also claimed the oil was strategically important to the State of Israel, which is currently dependant on other countries for its oil supply.

It is estimated that less than five percent of communities in southern European countries such as Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, and Greece have a Bible-believing church. Tom Streeter, director of south Europe ministries for Trans World Radio-Europe (TWR), says larger churches throughout the area have often kept God's Word from the people.
"The church has said the Bible's too mystical, too deep for the average person to understand, so don't even try. If you have a question, [they tell them] go to your priest," Streeter explains.
But Streeter says TWR has been able to bring solid bBiblical teaching to listeners by placing Christian programs on secular stations. "The joy is to see the response from people, who turn on their radio, tune to a local commercial station that they're used to listening to and find a program that in very simple terminology explains the contents of the scripture, and they're amazed," he notes. "They thought it was impossible to understand the Bible."

Pope Pelosi Denies That Catholicism Condemns Abortion
Is it any wonder America is being destroyed from within? It's bad enough that worldly minded men and women of the Roman Catholic Church change God's Word at a whim, but we now have Pope Pelosi challenging the Roman Catholic position on abortion and competing with the Pope of Rome telling us that Catholicism does not condemn abortion!
Referring to Barack Obama's now-notorious answer to Pastor Rick Warren to the question of when life begins, Meet the Press moderator Tom Brokaw asked Pelosi, "Senator Obama saying the question of when life begins is above his pay grade....If he were to come to you and say, 'Help me out here, Madame Speaker. When does life begin?' what would you tell him?"
Excuse me, Pope Pelosi, but the matter of when life begins is written in God's Word and it is a very big issue to the majority of American voters, whether you acknowledge it or not.

Update on Mosab Hassan Yousef, Son of Hamas Leader Who Became A Christian
Recently, I reported here that Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of Hamas West Bank leader, became a Christian and I have since come across an update today to his story from the Telegraph out of the UK and I think the world should know about this. Joseph, as he is now known, has a deep love for his family who he left behind in Ramallah for his new life in America as a Christian as it was impossible for him to continue living in such a violent environment. Joseph also gives us a glimpse of his future plans in this writing. As you read further, please keep Joseph and his family in Ramallah in your prayers. Joseph says:
