Of the tornado, Fire chief Mitch Randles said
"It cut the city in half."
The Lord means what He says. As Obama called for the division of Israel back to pre-1967 lines, another outbreak of deadly, destructive tornados ripped through Missouri, with reports of 50 tornadoes and over 24 people killed in Joplin, Missouri alone.

Update from CNN
89 People dead in Joplin, Missouri from tornado
I recently read Jeremiah Chapter 1 where the Lord speaks about judgments He intended to bring about upon the Israelites and they still did not turn away from their idols. Is the church of America any different? America has had everything but an earthquake and a volcano eruption in the way of disasters and destruction upon its land in very recent times and especially this year.
This past week while I was sleeping, I saw the continent of America being rushed with a huge gush of water, as if a tsunami was coming from the west coast toward the east. As the water came, I saw the continent of America being pushed up into Canada, with sections of the center of America being parted.
Now more than ever we need to be humble before the Lord and seek His face and intercede for the lost.

Curious if you see a deeper connection specifically with Joplin, Missouri. I get that it's in America, but is there something more significant about the location of the tornadoes?
ReplyDeleteShalom Rivkah:
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting here.
You raise a very interesting question. Joplin, Missouri is located in the United States of America; the state of Missouri is considered part of the “Bible Belt” here in the United States. However, the state of Missouri is home to the Luthern Church Missouri Synod, of which the city/town of Joplin, has a member church called the Immanuel Luthern Church.
The Luthern Church Missouri Synod
has over 5 million members and
while they call themselves "Christian", they belong to the "Replacement Theology" school; therefore, are not really Bible believing Christian Churches. They believe that the Lord is done with Israel and do not believe Israel has a future and present role as it relates to prophetic events happening now, including the land that God gave to Israel in the Abraham land covenant, and will continue to happen right up until Christ returns
Christian Churches and Churches of Christ, Joplin, has of last count a membership of 1,071,616, and is a confirmed "Replacement Theology" "Church".
The entire Luthern Church Missouri Synod are "Replacement Theology" "churches".
To answer your question, I would have to say most definitely, yes, the location of the tornadoes being in Joplin Missouri, and a "Replacement Theology" church organization masquerading around in the name of "Christian Church" from the same city/town cannot be pleasing to our Lord.
Back in October of 2007, I wrote an article on Replacement Theology in American Churches as it relates to Israel and the Jewish people you may want to look at, which has been a very popular article here. Here's the link.

It's been nice talking with you, and I hope we can do it often.
Blessings to you,
