Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told President Obama that Israel would decide for itself whether to strike Iran.

“My supreme responsibility as prime minister of Israel is to ensure that Israel remains the master of its fate,” Netanyahu told Obama.

In a sit-down earlier today with the president in the Oval Office, Netanyahu pushed back against the administration’s repeated attempts to dissuade Israel from attacking Iran.

“Israel must reserve the right to defend itself and after all, that’s the very purpose of the Jewish state to, restore to the Jewish people control of our destiny,” said Netanyahu, who is meeting with the president in advance of his speech later today before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s annual policy conference.

Israel reserves the right to strike Iran if need be, Netanyahu said.

Obama, in a speech to AIPAC on Sunday morning, chastised those engaged in “loose talk of war” with Iran and urged for a policy of diplomacy towards Iran, which continues to enrich uranium and is suspected of clandestinely building a nuclear weapon.

The administration has also been pressuring Israel to hold off on an attack against Iran’s nuclear sites, arguing that economic sanctions require time to take hold.

AIPAC Executive Howard Kohr flatly rejected this assumption earlier today, when he told conference delegates that the U.S. “must increase the pressures on the mullahs to the point where they fear failure to comply will lead to their downfall.”

'Ancient 'Bible' Discovered In Turkey Has Many Contradictions

Recently, news came out of Turkey where an ancient 'Bible' reported by the muslim media claimed that the 'Bible' contained verses attributed to Jesus Christ, in which Christ predicts the coming of Muhammad. Upon review and a closer look at the writings in the 'Bible'there are several mistakes that are very obvious to Christians, Jews, and muslims which show many contradictions.

The book also contains information that lack historical credibility like the presence of three armies, each made up of 200,000 soldiers, in Palestine whereas the entire population of Palestine 2,000 years ago did not even reach 200,000. In addition, Palestine was occupied by the Romans at the time and it is impossible that Palestine was allowed to have any army or armies of its own.

While the media tried to pass the 'Bible' off as an authentic 1,500 year old discovery, the 'Bible' is obviously a fraud. The last sentence in chapter 217 says that 100 pounds of stones were placed on Christ’s body. This confirms that the gospel was written quite recently because the first to use the pound as a unit of weight was the Ottomans in their experiments with Italy and Spain and it was never known during the time of Jesus.

Skepticism over the authenticity of the text arises from the contradictions it has with the Quran even though it recognizes Islam and Prophet Mohammed in addition to the fact that most studies say the book goes back to only 500 years ago.

Rick Warren Says Muslims and Christians Worship Same God

The Rev. Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest and one of America's most influential Christian leaders, has embarked on an effort to heal divisions between evangelical Christians and Muslims by partnering with Southern California mosques and proposing a set of theological principles that includes acknowledging that Christians and Muslims worship the same God. Rick Warren can say what he wants, but that doesn't make it so.

New World Order pastor and CFR  puppet propagandist Rick Warren by acknowledging that Christians and muslims worship the same God, indeed, is now admitting that he himself is not a Christian.

Even most  muslims know that Christians and muslims do not worship the same God and must be laughing at Warren behind his back. Not only is Rick Warren deceiving himself, but he is also deceiving those millions of unaware  muslims and Christians  he has contact with and Rick Warren will be held accountable to God for deceiving millions.

Throughout the Middle East and Asia and Africa, and Israel on a daily basis, Christians and Jews and muslims  are murdered in the name of the muslim god, "allah", by muslims,  are severely persecuted, beheaded and hanged for denouncing Islam to follow the Son of God, Jesus Christ who Himself is God. Since 1948, muslims have called for the extermination of the Jews in Israel. Only a wolf in sheep's clothing, or an apostate, or someone who has committed spiritual blasphemy, could say that muslims and Christians worship the same God.  Islam and Biblical Christianity have absolutely nothing in common.

The muslim god is called "allah". The name of the Christian God in the Hebrew Scriptures, the Bible, is from Exodus 3:14, and is   "I AM", or "YHVH" or YAHWEH - the special name of God was combined with "The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: THIS IS MY NAME FOREVER,  and this is my memorial unto all generations". See Exodus 3:15-16.

There is only one God.  So the question is: When was the last time you heard a muslim call the Lord God Almighty by His chosen Hebrew name which God himself declared is His Name forever?  When did you ever hear a muslim say 'Jesus is LORD?"

The god of Islam and the God of the Bible have completely opposite attitudes and goals with a totally different morality, as servants of Islam  have shown for  over 1400 years, continuing through today.

For instance, their book tells those who follow Islam:

"But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them and lie in wait [ambush] for them in every stratagem (of war)" Sura 9:5.

The God of the Bible, God's Son, Yeshua (Jesus)  tells His people to "Bless them that curse you." Luke 6:28

Muslims do not believe that God has a Son. Muslims do not believe that Jesus ever claimed to be God's Son, but will tell you that Jesus was a prophet only, denying the very words of Jesus Himself.  Muslims will even tell you they believe in Jesus, to convince you that their god is the same as the Christian God in an effort to convert you to Islam.

Jesus said:

Matthew 11:27-28 "All things are delivered unto me of my father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son  will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Luke 10:22 "All things are delivered to me of my Father:  and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son  will reveal him.

Muslims believe that God has no Son and deny the Holy Trinity.

Sura 4:171: O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs

 Muslims claim Christians are polytheistic because Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God, but Jesus said

 "I and My Father are One." John 10:30

One in Greek, meaning one essense. In other words, Jesus is saying He and God the Father are one being.

Muslims do not believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross for the atonement of the sins of humanity.

Surah 4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

If a muslim were to confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God he would be committing "shirk",  the greatest sin in Islam and the only unpardonable sin. And the penalty is death.

Without Jesus the Son of God, who shed His blood on the cross at calvary to atone for the sins of the human race, there can be no salvation. Hebrews 9:22

Islam and Christianity are the exact opposite and are not compatible with one another.

Rick Warren follows another gospel, another god, another jesus, and not the Gospel of Christ.

The Jewish Apostle Paul issues a stern warning in Galatians 1:8

 "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."

I urge everyone who reads this to heed the warning.  Love those who curse you, and  build bridges to reach those that still live in darkness;and most importantly, give them the salvation message of forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ who took their penalty for sin and nailed it to the cross with Him.  Don't deny the true God that bought you with his blood, Jesus Christ.

Lord, continue to watch over all of your children and see us through this spiritual  battle until the end.  In Jesus name I pray.

In his response, Warren said editor Jim Hinch misinterpreted him. Syrian Christians Ask For Prayer

The greatest need right now, according to Syrian Christians, is prayer. The Christian Church in Syria and Islamic countries throughout the Middle East are enduring the same type of persecution that the early New Testament Church went through. We must stand with our brethren as one voice. When one member hurts we all hurt. To ignore this is like ignoring the true purpose of Christianity which is to open up the eyes of those walking in satan's darkness into the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ.

Feb 23 2012 On-going Violence Forces Churches to Limit Meetings, Open Doors Reports

SANTA ANA, Calif. (Feb. 23, 2012) – In the wake of a year of protests and violence, the volatile situation in Syria has brought great suffering to the entire population. Syrian Christians say their greatest need right now is prayer, according to Open Doors, an international ministry supporting persecuted Christians and religious freedom around the world.

The danger has prompted many churches across the country to meet only in daytime, many only on Sundays. On Fridays, the weekly Islamic day of assembly, many Christian schools now close. Because of rampant killing, theft and kidnapping of children, some parents have stopped sending their children to school. Syria also suffers a lack of fuel and electricity, an economy in shambles and few jobs.

"Christians' plights vary by place," said Dr. Carl Moeller, president and CEO of Open Doors USA.

"Damascus Christians seem to have the fewest difficulties; in contrast, many Homs believers have fled what has become a war zone."

Some Christians want to stay; others desperately seek to emigrate, said Moeller. Many say they simply cannot flee.

"Many believers tell us that Syria is where they belong and will remain, even if that means dying there," he said.

More than 80 percent of Christians have fled Homs, the city where fighting is the worst. Looters have invaded the homes of those who have fled. At least one evangelical church has been attacked. Those who remain have limited means of safe transportation. Few attend church services.

"Homs is a ghost town, and the situation of people there is not stable," another source said. “Everyone there fears for safety. People in the city don’t have resources or supplies. The situation makes a decent human being cry."

In some areas, the situation is relatively safe for Christians. “We come together to worship, and people have strong faith," one Syrian pastor said. “Currently, Christians are not under direct attack. But we don’t know if things change how they will treat us.”

Christians fear that if President Assad is overthrown, their plight will dramatically worsen.  But Christians find strength in their faith, Moeller said.

“Please join Syrian Christians in prayer,” said Moeller. “Only God knows what lies ahead, but Scripture assures us that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Syria has more than 20 million inhabitants with 1.9 million of them Christians. Syria is ranked No. 36 on the Open Doors 2012 World Watch List of the top 50 persecutors of Christians.

Israelis Find Jesus On Facebook

What an uplifting story!! The Israelis are finding Jesus on Facebook.

Israeli Messianic ministry One for Israel (which Israel Today previously covered) continues to find success spreading the Gospel via online social networks and specialized Hebrew-language websites.

In its annual report, One for Israel again pointed out that Israelis are far more active on the Internet than average Westerners, making the online space a perfect, though often overlooked avenue for evangelism.

For example, One for Israel pointed to comScore statistics that revealed Israelis spend 11.1 hours per month on Facebook, more than double 5.7 hours spent by the average person worldwide. It was further noted that "overall a whopping 94 percent of Israeli Internet users are active on social networks."

In order to reach all those Israeli Internet users, One for Israel takes out ads on Facebook, Google and other high-traffick websites. Those who click the ads are taken to a series of evangelism-focused Hebrew-language websites (like iGod.co.il) that seek to explain to the average non-believing Israeli why Jesus' claims deserve consideration.

But the average Israeli is not well versed in the Bible, and certainly not in the prophecies that point to Jesus. So recently One for Israel launched a new website, TheOne.co.il (English version here), that takes a very simple and basic approach to the prophetic narrative, leading the viewer by the hand through the Bible's messianic prescription to Israel's woes.

These efforts continue to bear fruit.
One for Israel's annual report spoke of several individuals who have personally contacted the ministry over the past year seeking greater knowledge of Jesus, including a high-ranking officer in the Israeli army. Additionally, the group's evangelism-focused websites were visited over 150,000 times and Israelis downloaded a digital, Hebrew version of the New Testament ever five hours during 2011. Physical copies of the New Testament were requested more than once a day on average.

This is a persistent trend. Statistics provided by Google showed that Israelis searched (in Hebrew) for the name "Yeshua" (Jesus) more than 25,000 times every month. The phrase "Brit Hadasha" (New Testament) was searched for over 5,000 times every month.

Turkey Restricts Use Of Airspace By Israeli Cargo Planes

There’s no end, at least on the part of Turkey, for its bitterness toward the Jewish State. Turkey is now restricting the use of its airspace by Israeli cargo planes.

In another sign of deteriorating Israel-Turkey ties, most Israeli cargo flights are forced to circumvent Turkey, causing financial damage to Israeli aviation sector.

Turkey has begun banning Israeli flights carrying “dangerous materials” from using its airspace

The ban effects El Al and CAL cargo flights carrying materials designated as “dangerous.” This designation includes most of the cargo flights in and out of Israel, as it doesn’t include only explosives, but also any flight carrying batteries and even perfume, which are flammable and require special storage procedures.

From now on, Turkey is requiring that it be notified about flights of this type at least 10 days in advance, so that they may review whether or not to approve them.

The new move is causing substantial financial damage to Israeli airlines, as most Israeli flights, and all those flying to the Far East, regularly use Turkish airspace, and are now being forced to use longer flight routes that circumvent Turkey. Read more here.

The Rev. Franklin Graham Speaks On The Iranian Pastor Death Sentence

When Greta Van Susteren suggests there is nothing the United States can do for the Iranian Pastor, the Rev. Franklin Graham responds that there is something … the president could call for a prayer meeting at the White House.

Is that too much to ask of a president who publicly claims to be of the Christian faith?

The Rev. Graham also discusses Sharia law....saying the Quran demands if a person leaves Islam, they are to be killed.. This is the law of Sharia and it is a scary system.... Sharia law governs all of life for a muslim... it's political, it's military, it's economic [system]. Sharia law governs everything, and no western law is recognized. It's only Sharia Law.

Friends, this is the first I have heard of any Christian pastor mention on a secular public forum what can be done for Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, the Iranian pastor sentenced to death for denouncing Islam and retaining his faith is Jesus Christ, the Son of God to save him. The Rev. Graham is absolutely correct when he suggests calling a prayer meeting. Together, we all must pray for Pastor Nadarkhani. As Bible believing Christians, we know that the battle is not a physical one, but of a spiritual nature.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the LORD, and in the power of his might.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

Global March To Jerusalem To Bring One Million Arabs To Israel’s Border March 30, 2012

Deja Vu? Another "March to Jerusalem" aims at rallying one million people to march on Israel’s borders from surrounding countries.

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. Zechariah 12:2-3

Imagine one million Arabs marching on little Israel’s borders from surrounding nations!

That is on the upcoming arab agenda for March 30, 2012 if the BDS movement has their way.

David Ben-Gurion, the first Prime Minister of the Jewish State of Israel in 1949 declared that Jerusalem was the eternal capital of the Jewish State. This is not the first time this had been declared. Over three thousand years ago, this same Jerusalem was declared to be Israel’s capital by the second King of Israel, King David,

Under the Davidic Covenant, recorded in II Samuel 7:10, the LORD promised that He would give His people Israel a place and plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more. In our day, the LORD has brought His people back to the land of Israel as promised. Amos 9:14-15, Ezekiel 37:21-22, Ezekiel 28:25-26, Jeremiah 50:20.



Psalm 132 :13, 14 tells us that the LORD has chosen Zion for His habitation. That is my rest forever; here I will dwell; for I have desired it.

The new earth called for in Isaiah 65:18,19 tells us that the LORD will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people; and the voice of weeping shall be no more. A repentant and believing section of the Jewish people will form the nucleus of the population. Revelation 21:1-4 tells us of a new earth and the holy city new Jerusalem coming down from God.

Jerusalem is God’s eternal city and He is fulfilling His Word  to the Jewish people, as we have seen by their return to the land of their forefathers by a miracle of God, and He will take them the rest of the way back to Him.

Turkey To Purchase 100 F-35 Fighter Jets From US

The showdown between Turkey and Israel that I wrote about in September, 2011 may be coming sooner than anyone thinks.

It looks as if the Obama Administration is now allowing for the arming of the enemies of Israel. Turkey's Defense Minister announced today that Turkey will purchase 100 F-35 fighter jets from the US. More here.

After the Gaza Flotilla rift between Turkey and Israel, where Israel refused to apologize for the Turkish ship Marmara that was headed for Gaza with terrorists aboard to break the Gaza blockade and who were subsequently involved in a deadly raid with the Israelis in 2010, Turkey and Israel's relations have sunk to a new low. Turkey's PM actually expected the Israelis to apologize after nine of Turkey's citizens were killed when they attacked the Israeli commandos who went aboard the Marmara. Unfortunate as it was, the UN Palmer investigation of the event did not demand an apology, which was unacceptable to Turkey's government. Under the Islamist Government of PM Erdogan, Turkey proceded to suspend defense trade with Israel, expelled Israel's ambassador and all lower Israeli diplomatic personnel, and threatened more sanctions against Israel.

Turkey sits to the uttermost north of Israel and is a key player involved in the Gog-Magog invasion of Israel.

The second map shows Turkey as a region in east Asia Minor, perhaps equal to Cappadocia. Notice on the ancient empire of Persia atlas map to the left, Cappadocia is now modern day Turkey. Tubal was in modern day western Turkey also within the same locations as the Thracian region of Turkey. The chief ruler of Tubal at this time is the government of Turkey, and includes the land of Magog today, as would modern day
Syria and northern Iraq, or Babylon. This very likely confirms this area as being a part of the same nations as an Islamic antichrist kingdom, which are muslim nations. 1 John 2:22-23.

That's not all. The IsraelNationalNews reported in September, 2011 that Turkey's military would be installing new technology that would allow warplanes and ships to target Israeli vessels.

In July 2011, Turkey's Islamic PM Erdogan was set to sign a military and economic alliance with Egypt now under the control of the radical terror organization, the Muslim Brotherhood.

Add to all of the above, the Obama Administration has recently pledged $800 million in aid to 'Arab Spring' countries, all enemies of Israel.

The hand writing is on the wall. Turkey is no longer a friendly ally of Israel no matter what you may hear on CNN, and is a key player in the Gog-Ma Gog invasion against Israel. America is arming Israel's enemies. The Lord has graciously given us a clear glimpse of what's coming and soon. If you don't know the Lord Jesus Christ, now is the time to run to Him without delay and receive a free pardon for your sins.
