Remember The Ten Commandments Judge, the Honorable Roy Moore from Alabama, removed from office back in 2003 because he publically acknowledged God and refused to remove a Ten Commandments Monument from the State Supreme Court Building? Judge Moore was sued by the atheist ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. Moore's critics said they were not yet satisfied.
Richard Cohen, a lawyer for the Southern Poverty Law Center -- one of the groups that sued Moore over the monument -- said the organization would seek to have Moore disbarred. More from the 2003 CNN Here
It seems that this most honorable Roy Moore is quite the writer of poetry.
I liked this timely poem so much that I thought I would share it with all of my readers for you to also enjoy. It really shows the heart of a man for God.

America the beautiful, or so you used to be. Land of the Pilgrims' pride; I'm glad they'll never see.
Babies piled in dumpsters, Abortion on demand, Oh, sweet land of liberty; your house is on the sand.
Our children wander aimlessly poisoned by cocaine choosing to indulge their lusts, when God has said abstain
From sea to shining sea, our Nation turns away From the teaching of God's love and a need to always pray
We've kept God in our temples,how callous we have grown. When earth is but His footstool, and Heaven is His throne
We've voted in a government that's rotting at the core, Appointing Godless Judges; who throw reason out the door,

ReplyDeleteIn response to your comments, thank you for the clarification; however, I never questioned your position on presenting the gospel to the lost, what I did question was the issues that were presented. To me this should not even be an issue, as I have written. I believe you and I see eye to eye on this matter, but I am deeply distressed, that AM and SoL and now Puritan Fellowship would cause such strife and discord and meddle in what does not concern them, and bring this before a public forum and publically gossip about another Brother doing the Lord’s work. This is just plain wrong, and that is why I posted what I did on my site, but not until I emailed AM and Slice first to let them know how wrong they were. AM rejected what I told him. Anyway, I removed AM and Slice from my public blog list as I do not want to be implicated or associated publically with a site who would do this kind of thing.
