New Age novel The Shack being peddled as Christian

There's a new book out you may have heard of called The Shack, and has been described as a “Christian” novel and is number one on the New York Times bestseller list for paperback fiction the last I heard. Many Christians, from what I have been reading, have been buying this book thinking they have purchased a Christian novel. From the reviews I have read, the book illustrates postmodern spiritual ideas and teachings that outright challenge and are contrary to biblical Christianity in the name of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Christians must use discernment today because biblical Christianity is being attacked on all fronts and New Age beliefs are being subtly peddled as biblical Christianity.

Those of us who believe the Word of God can say with confidence, no matter what these New Age proponents write, we can stand on the one and only Rock, for He has given us His Word in the Book of Books and sealed us with His Holy Spirit. Only the precious blood of Jesus Christ brings reconciliation with God - Ephesians 2:13-16
