Are The Ten Kings of Daniel 7 About To Arise?

Mediterranean Union Is Born!
Toni, from Files From Toni wonders: Are the ten kings of Daniel 7:24 about to arise? This bears watching very closely..Prophecy in the making....
"And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise:: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings."

"Mediterranean Union is Born: Intriguing; disturbing and prophetic

An intriguing new geopolitical entity was born over the weekend that could in ways small and large dramatically change the course of Europe and the Middle East in the years ahead. At a series of ceremonies in Paris -- in a palace overlooking the River Seine -- leaders from 43 countries comprising 756 million people met officially to form the "Mediterranean Union," to fight terrorism, end WMD proliferation, enhance regional security, and promote free trade, economic development, and tourism. The brainchild of French President Nicholas Sarkzozy, the M.U. is certainly not a formal military or economic alliance by any stretch. Not yet, at least. But significantly, it does include all the nations of the European Union, Israel and all the countries of North Africa. The sole exception is Libya, whose leader, Muammar Gadaffi, denounced the organization as the rise of a "another Roman Empire." Gadaffi is right. That's precisely what we're seeing, and this does not fit in prophecy in my opinion.

From Gulfnews.com
  • In his efforts to reform France and the European Union, Sarkozy is now looking at the south Mediterranean region as a vital sphere of both influence and cooperation. And by limiting that union to ten members (5+5) he is trying to maximise the chances for success taking the Barcelona experience in hindsight.
Are we seeing the Iron and Clay( 5+5) and the 10 horns of Nebuchadnezzar's Prophetic Dream and Daniel's intepretation here?  Only more time will tell., but personally I do not think the beast kingdom will come as a "revived Roman Empire."

I think the eighth  kingdom, or the last earthly kingdom to arise will be the Islamic Caliphate, (which conquered the old  Roman Empire ) from which the beast kingdom , number 7 and the final earthly beast  kingdom number eight, comes from, and will involve or include parts of all four of the other kingdoms, i.e., Babylon, Medeo-Persia, Greek, and Rome,  which we are seeing today as radical islam becomes more dominant in the world while at the same time, the islamification of Europe takes place.  I explain my reasoning more following:

 Daniel wrote in his interpretation:

"And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men; but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed, and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. Daniel 2:42-44.

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them; for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. Revelation 17:12-14

Before it can be determined where the anti-christ kingdom comes from, we first have to identify the empires or kingdoms in biblical times. Most students of the Bible who have studied this topic at length agree that the kingdoms are the Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Medo-Persia, Greek, and Rome, each kingdom  having been conquered by the kingdom taking its place.

Again, in Revelation 17, we read:

“And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short while. Vs. 10

And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into peridition. Vs. 11

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. Vs.12

These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.Vs. 13

Notice John writes that the first five kingdoms in verse 10 above have fallen. At the time John wrote this revelation, the kingdom in power was the Roman Empire, or kingdom number six, and had not been conquered yet. I will note at this time that it is important to remember what "revived Roman Empire" antichrist kingdom proponents have forgotten, or ignored; the Roman empire was not located in a single country, it was made up of several modern day countries. which  encompassed most of Europe and Britain, Africa and the Mideast. It's capitol was at first Rome, then Constantinople, which is now Istanbul in modern day Turkey, a muslim nation.

Likewise, in Daniel's vision from the beginning of this article, we again note what Daniel saw:
"And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings."Daniel 7:24, and verse 25 reads "And he (antichrist) shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given unto his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Now I will jump to the eighth kingdom mentioned above, whom John writes is of the seven. This beast kingdom, or number seven, was (an empire) at one time and has gone into peridition. So now, we have to determine who was kingdom number seven to determine who this final beast kingdom number eight,  or anti-christ kingdom is, which really isn’t too difficult.

From John’s vision, I know that kingdom number six is Rome, still intact at the time John wrote his revelation,  and a seventh kingdom had to arise to conquer the Roman Empire. History tells us that the only empire to come about and defeat the Roman Empire was the Islamic Caliphate.

First, the western part of the Roman Empire was conquered by the Barbarians, but history also tells us that  it wasn’t until 1453 that the eastern part of the Roman Empire fell to the Ottoman Turkish Empire, or Islamic Caliphate.  I have now  identified what I believe to be  the seventh empire as being Islamic; therefore, the beast kingdom, or antichrist kingdom number eight seen in John’s revelation above will be an Islamic Empire, or an Islamic Caliphate.  And from Daniel's vision of Daniel 7:24-25, I come to the conclusion that the  anti-christ will come from the muslim religion.
And the beast that was,(Ottoman Turkish Empire) and is not, even he is the eighth,(Islamic Caliphate) and is of the seven,(Ottoman Turkish Empire) and goeth into peridition. Vs. 11
These are my thoughts on this.  Only time will tell.

Stay focused on Jesus Christ friends, this could get very exciting fast.
