My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Galveston, Houston and all those who were affected by yet another natural disaster, called a category 5 hurricane by Jeff Masters of the Weather Underground because of its size.

"This is a Category 5 hurricane," said The Weather Underground's Jeff Masters. "I don't care what the Category 2 rating says," he said. Category 5 storms are the most dangerous.
The storm surge could push as far inland as NASA's Johnson Space Center south of Houston, Mr. Masters said.
Ike could be the third-most damaging storm in U. S. history behind Hurricanes Katrina and Andrew in 1992, experts said.
