Israel Election News-2009

The Israeli election today has proven to be a very close race with Livni's Kadima edging over Netanyahu's Likud party, but Livni may not be able to form a coalition.

Exit polls Show Kadima edges Likud, But Right-Wing Bloc Is Biggest
With 98% of ballot boxes counted, Kadima now expected to win 28 mandates, Likud - 27, Israel Beiteinu - 15 and Labor only 13. right wing bloc slated to win 63-64, left wing 56-57.

Both parties claim victory and race to form rival coalitions
