Two States On The Two Banks of the Jordan River

Jordan is getting a taste of its own medicine and doesn't like it. From a secular point of view, this is the most just and best solution to the Middle East conflict between Israel and the arabs ever proposed. The British Mandate was to be divided into a Jewish and an Arab entity, not a Heshemite Kingdom., or a palestinian state.

The Brits and the Abdullahs cheated Israel out of their share of the land, and Israel was left with a small strip of land it has today. Jordan is East Palestine. There is more than enough land in Jordan for millions of people. If the palestinians go on to dethrone the Hashemites, specifically Abdullah II, then Abdullah will just have to deal with it.

Apparently, Jordan being deeply angered by Israeli MK Eldad's bill proposing the creation of a palestinian state in King Abdullah's Heshemite Kingdom "Two States on the two banks of the Jordan River,"and has summoned the Israeli ambassador.

The bill is up for debate in the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.

Petra, Jordan's official news agency, reported Tuesday that Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh summoned the Israeli ambassador to Amman and demanded the bill be withdrawn.

A Knesset debate has already taken place on Eldad's proposal. During the plenum discussion he said: "There are already two states for two peoples. The Land of Israel has been divided, my national home has been divided and three quarters of it handed to the Arabs by the British Empire. Seventy percent of Jordan's population is Palestinian, so there is a de-facto Palestinian state." Read it here.

I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshphat, and will plead with them there for my people Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. Joel 3:2
