THE burden of Egypt.  Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight everyone his brother and everyone against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.  Isaiah 19:1-2
Something is happening in Egypt. Is a revolution underway? A little over a week ago I reported that something was happening in predominantly muslim countries in No. Africa and the Middle East; the over throw of the corrupt government of Tunisia by mass citizen protests taking to the streets over high food prices, lack of employment and human rights issues.
Streets rocked by rage: Egyptian anti-government activists chant angry slogans as they protest in Cairo

And yesterday, tens of thousands of Egyptian protesters , following in Tunisia’s lead, have taken to the streets all over Egypt’s major cities of Cairo, Alexandria and elsewhere protesting the authoritarian regime of Egypt lead by President Hosni Mubarak for corruption, poverty and human rights abuses.

It is also being reported that President Murbark’s son, Gamal Murbarak who is widely thought to succeed the 82 year old President has fled to England with his family.

Lines: The protests stem from fury at the levels of poverty in the country

One thing is for certain. The Middle East is about to  explode at present with the recent takeover of Lebanon by Hizballah who is a proxy government for Iran and Syria, and now major civil unrest in Egypt with a possible overthrow of President Hosni Mubarak’s regime with the radical Muslim Brotherhood ready to step in, both of which want to wipe Israel off the map. The Muslim Brotherhood is the parent organization for Hamas and some of the groups that recently merged into al-Qaeda, including Ayman al Zawahiri’s Egyptian Islamic Jihad.

The government corruption taking place by politicians all over the world today describes the complete breakdown of respect for the law,  human dignity and character in these last days, and is fulfilling the Apostle Paul’s prophecy:
‘This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof: from such turn away’ II Timothy 3:1-6

These conditions are becoming worse daily as you look around the world today. People’s behaviour, in general, is changing for the worse. More and more you see where conditions in the world are completely out of control, and only getting worse.

The only good news today is that there is a time soon coming when there will only be one government ruled by Jesus Christ that will be completely free of corruption.
the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.Isaiah 9:6-7
