Speaking before the vote, Barack Obama called for Assad to step down following the latest bloodshed. The US president said Assad had lost his legitimacy as a ruler and had "no right" to cling to power. He said the regime's policy of terrorising its people "only indicates its inherent weakness and inevitable collapse". More here.Sound familiar? And have you noticed the pattern that has developed in these well orchestrated overthrows where in each state where these dictators have been overthrown, radical Islam has filled the void?
That’s not all of it. Even the terrorist group alQaeda, which is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, which it seems Obama has an apparent common interest with, is now calling for the overthrow of the Syrian regime. Interesting, Russia and China, who recently vetoed a UN Security Council Resolution against Syria, seem to be the only two nations that have been paying attention to the dire negative consequences of a Muslim Brotherhood controlled Middle East, which now leaves the door wide open for a worse case scenario in Syria; one that Turkey who has an ongoing dispute with Israel, supported by the Muslim Brotherhood would walk through.
The times are changing, and fast.
As much as we don't like it, without Obama's assistance, all of this could never have happened, and only a worse situation will arise soon in Syria, as the players are all set in motion to make a move against the Jewish State of Israel. There’s no turning back now, unless the LORD makes a change in His plans. Proverbs 16:33, Isaiah 46:8-11. Prophecy is being fulfilled as we watch. Pray for the people of Syria. While it sickens me to watch the inhumane murders in Syria, I have no doubt that the LORD will hold all of the spineless world leaders and their accomplices accountable for the deaths of all the innocent people in Syria. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14.
