ISRAEL:Persecution Against Israeli Believers Turns Lethal

Persecution Against Messianic Jews of Israel turns lethal.... Yad L’achim out to destroy Messianics of Israel

After reading the June 2008 Moaz Israel factual account of the ongoing persecution of the Messianic Jews of Israel by the orthodox, I found it difficult to say the least to believe these orthodox establishment Jews serve or believe in the God of the Torah, or Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. In fact, no where in the Torah does the God of Israel, whom Christians, Jews and Gentiles alike, know and believe to be Jesus Christ, advocate these sinful actions against those who do believe. These actions on the part of the orthodox Jewish establishment is pure evil, and cannot be supported anywhere in the Hebrew Bible. I am at a loss for words that the Jewish orthodox establishment in Israel condone these actions before the entire world while at the same time the government of Israel calls itself a democracy, and has not apprehended these guilty orthodox who terrorize innocent Messianic Jews in Israel. Likewise, I am more stunned that those who call themselves "Christian Zionists" continue to support this orthodox establishment financially,(Facts You May Not Know) thereby enabling and fostering this criminal activity toward innocent Jewish victims to continue in Israel. No where in all of the New Testament, or the Old Testament are Christians encourged to support this type of evil, either financially or otherwise.

I am all for helping those who need help, but I honestly believe that those Christians who call themselves Zionists and who blindly support the secular state of Israel would do well to re-evaluate their financial donations to the secular state of Israel, which ends up in the hands of the orthodox establishment who persecute our Messianic brethren. The Bible tells us to Bless those who persecute you. Bless them, and don't curse them. Romans 12:14. The biblical way to bless Israel is by giving them the Gospel of Christ. It does not say to financially donate to a tyrannical government that terrorizes its own citizens. Would these same so-called "Christian Zionists" make a financial donation to Saddam Hussein, or Hitler or Ahmandinejad so they can harm or kill Jews? Of course not. Financial giving to a tyrannical government who wants to rid its land of Messianic Jews, as has been proclaimed by the orthodox establishment of Israel, cannot be supported biblically and cannot be pleasing to the Lord.

The Bible tells us in Leviticus Chapter 19 "Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart; thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him." vs. 17. The Christian community as well as those Jewish people around the world who are against these outrageous criminal acts on the part of the orthodox of Israel needs to speak out louder and condemn these heinous crimes and demand the guilty perpetrators be brought to justice for their sins against our Messianic brethren in Israel or we become just as guilty, and will incur or partake in their guilt.

I encourage all those who are troubled about the deliberate persecution and government sanctioned discrimination and persecution of Messianic Jews in Israel to let the Israeli government know about it with an email here

Moaz Israel, June edition, reports here and continues at link:

  • Persecution in ariel began two years ago
  • It started two years ago when posters began appearing around Ariel with the faces of David and other Messianic believers and with the warning of “Beware! These people are Christian missionaries who are impersonating Jews and who belong to the cult of Messianic Jews.”
There is an organization in Israel called “Yad L’achim” which has one purpose for its existence - to persecute and destroy the Messianic movement and Christian organizations in Israel. It has deep connections within all governmental institutions. When Gaon from Maariv asked the head of Yad L’achim, Rabbi Shalom Dov Lipsheitz, why they persecute the Messianic Jews, he answered, “Ortiz and his friends are soul-murderers. Destroyers of Jews. Offspring of Crusaders. Continued

New Testament Burning- Messianic Jews Persecuted In Israel

Caught in the act?? Deputy Mayor of Or Yehuda, Uzi Aharon at the synagogue, holding one of the Christian NewTestaments and Literature Packages that were burnt --

I found an unbiased account coming out of the Israeli news media Haaretz, of the New Testament burning by the Orthodox Jews written as an editorial in the Haaretz , with other recent noteworthy events concerning the Messianic Jew persecution in Israel which have been reported right here, that I think is worth sharing with my readers.

Shas' book bonfire

By Haaretz Editorial

On the occasion of Shas' annual Lag Ba'omer celebration, the party introduced a new custom burning copies of the New Testament. The initiator of the book burning, Or Yehuda deputy mayor Uzi Aharon, claimed that it was a spontaneous act, an angry protest against missionary activity being reported in the city. Among the witnesses to this "spontaneous act" were schoolchildren. A reporter from Maariv documented the event.
Supporters of the bonfire said they were preserving the honor of the Jewish people, and the fire was meant to rid the town and entire country of Messianic Jews.In the Jewish state, they said it is forbidden to disseminate Christian holy scripture. The burning of Christian holy books in Or Yehuda is especially worrisome in light of the continued harassment of Messianic Jews in the country. Their homes are set on fire, they struggle to earn a living, and just two months ago, a 15 year-old boy was seriously hurt when what he thought was a Purim gift package blew up in his face on the doorstep of his family home in Ariel.

Just this past Independence Day, the religious community threatened to boycott the annual World Bible Quiz because of the participation of a young girl from a Messianic family, as if knowledge of the Bible necessitates belonging to the Jewish religion, or any other religion. The Messianic Jews number a few thousand in Israel, and as long as they do not stalk children or try to convince them to change their religious beliefs, their standing in this country should be equal to that of other religious and ethnic groups who enjoy freedom of practice and worship as stipulated in the Declaration of Independence and protected by law.

The indifference to their persecution attests to the treatment of minorities in Israeli society. If it were Jewish holy text rather than Christian books that were burned in some European country, it is safe to assume that the leaders of that country would fall over themselves in rushing to condemn the act, all the while they are painted with the broad brush of anti-Semitism.

In Israel, the coalition's survival depends on Shas, the rabbis support the book burning, though do so quietly, and all that is left to do is to await a decision by the attorney general to bring to trial those responsible. Any kind of significant public statement against the persecution of groups for their beliefs is not in the offing. The burning of religious books connotes horrific events from the past that are difficult to erase from memory. In 1933, the Nazis incinerated the works of Germany's great Jewish literary figures, gathering the public to watch burnings in Berlin's Opera Square. A monument designed by Israeli artist Micha Ullman stands at the square as a chilling reminder of the event and what followed. Throughout history, people of faith have burned religious books of other faiths. Mao Zedong burned Buddhist books, just as the Taliban did a few years ago.

A democracy must not tolerate behavior that is considered normal in totalitarian regimes. The concern is that the persecution of Messianic Jews is rationalized by a twisted interpretation of Jewish sovereignty, as if we were dealing with something resembling an Iran-like enterprise whose raison d'etre was taking revenge on the gentiles. If the deputy mayor of Or Yehuda remains in his post, it will only strengthen the perception that the persecution of minorities has not been discontinued due to its revolting nature. As long as Shas produces the likes of Uzi Aharon, the lighter of the bonfire, it must be viewed as a full participant in this act

ISRAEL: Turning Up The 'Heat' On Messianic Jews

Deputy Mayor of Or Yehuda, Uzi Aharon at the synagogue, holding one of the Christian New Testaments and Literature Packages that were burnt--
*******
Today, from CBN, there is another story about the New Testament burning in Israel, and the years of persecution toward the Messianic Jews in Israel by the orthodox Jews. As the headliner says, "Turning Up The 'Heat' On Messianic Jews; likewise this story must stay front and center to turn up the heat on the Israeli state sanctioned persecution of Jewish Christians within Israel to bring charges against those who were involved in organizing and burning the New Testaments, namely the deputy mayor who claims he came to stop the students.

"Though the newspaper caught the deputy mayor at the bonfire, he said he came to stop the students when he saw what they were doing."

I am not one to make accusations against anyone regarding this latest incident of documented persecution by the orthodox toward the Messianic Jews of Israel; however, when someone is caught in the act, of course he will try and cover his tracks. The orthodox Shas Israeli government party, of which the deputy mayor shown above is a member, have been getting away with crimes against the Messianics of Israel for years, and until the Olmert government takes an open stand to put a stop to these outrageous crimes other than talk, the orthodox perpetrators will continue in their criminal activity, sanctioned by the State of Israel, and Christians all over the world must "turn up the heat" until the guilty ones are brought to justice.

Another story from CBN reports on June 3, 2008 that: "Uzi Aharon, the deputy mayor of Or Yehuda, organized the burnings of the New Testaments, according to the Israeli newspaper "Ma'ariv," which first reportered the story. Some of the Bibles were printed by the Bible Society in Israel. Victor Kalisher serves as the director of the Bible Society."

Messianic Jew Bible Quiz Finalist Bat El Levy

Israel's Messianic Jew Bible Quiz finalist, Bat El Levy, along with the Messianics of Israel, are beginning to capture the attention of people all over the world as viewers from America, Australia, Austria, Germany, Canada, Chile, China, England, Israel, Italy, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland and The Netherlands read about the persecution of the Messianic Jews in Israel from the ultra orthodox Jewish state sponsored discrimination and persecution from  Files From Toni, pj miller's Sola Del Gloria and Daniel's Place and now another excellent article about the Plight of the Messianic Jew in Israel, written by Roi Bei Yehuda, has com to my attention.  Read about it  here :

Israel: OrthodoxI Sect (Still) Argues Messianics Are Not Jews

This story appeared in JTA out of Jerusalem, which is really uplifting; but it also shows how the orthodox Yad LeAhim persistantly make life difficult for the Messianics of Israel.

Here we have ultra orthodox Yad LeAhim arguing that the female contestant in the Bible Quiz contest, even though she is Jewish, but believes in Jesus as Messiah, should not be considered Jewish; and even after this was settled in the Israeli Supreme Court April 17th of this year in favor of the Messianic Jews. Let's all hope and pray Bat El Levy comes out as number one in the Bible Quiz Contest!

What if a 'messianic Jew' wins Israel's annual Bible quiz?

JERUSALEM - Should Bat El Levy be asked at Israel's international youth Bible quiz next week about the messiah's coming, she may find herself in a bind.

The 17-year-old Jerusalem girl is a world-class scriptural scholar who, as it happens, believes in Jesus.

might never have been an issue, were it not for the sleuthing of an Israeli anti-missionary group, Yad LeAhim, which sees in Levy's participation in the annual Jewish Bible contest a threat to Judaism.

Yad LeAhim director Shlomo Dov Lipschitz circulated a letter to Israel's top rabbis this week calling for pressure on the Education Ministry to disqualify Levy from the quiz, which takes place every year on Israeli Independence Day. This year it will be held May 8 under the auspices of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

Lipschitz argued that Levy, who comes from a family of messianic Jews--who believes Jesus is the messiah--should not be considered Jewish. There also was an apparent appeal to prestige: the fear of traditional Jews being shown up in Bible knowledge by someone who has mastered the New Testament as well.

Lipschitz wrote a letter that was leaked to Israel’s daily Ma’ariv in which he says Levy "has a chance of becoming the world Bible champion," and this could "greatly encourage" the spread of Christianity among Jews.

Several leading sages signed on, threatening a boycott of the quiz. Levy is slated to face off with 15 other young biblical scholars from Israel and the Diaspora in this year’s annual Bible contest.

“Once they used to wage crusades in order to bring us closer to Christianity," warned Rabbi Shlomo Aviner, a leader of the national-religious movement. "Now they work by other means.”

But the Education Ministry refused to bar Levy. A ministry spokesman said that issues of personal belief were not the organizers' concern and that because Levy "is Jewish according to her Israeli identity cards and school registration," she can take part in the contest.

Levy, who already has been crowned the Bible quiz champion for the Jerusalem district, was unavailable for comment. Relatives said she was too busy studying for the competition to meddle in the media uproar.

One confidant of the family, who declined to be identified, confirmed to JTA that the Levys are followers of Jesus -- or, as they would put it, "Yeshua Ben-David of Nazareth.”

But the confidant denied that Levy or her kin were involved in proselytizing other Jews -- a crime in Israel, where many blame church dogma for centuries of European anti-Semitism and persecution.

"This is a matter of private religious beliefs,” the confidant said. “Yad LeAhim and their ilk simply don't like Jews who practice a different version of Judaism.”

Israel has an estimated 8,000 so-called messianic Jews. They are, in effect, crypto-Christians, practicing their faith discreetly for fear of stoking hostility among mainstream Jews.

Reprisals can sometimes be violent. Police suspect that, in March, anti-missionary vigilantes planted a bomb outside a building in Ariel believed to house messianic Jews. A boy set off the device and suffered serious wounds. Last October, arsonists attacked a Baptist church in Jerusalem that offers services in Hebrew.

The Levy family confidant gave no indication that Bat El might shy away from the competition. One of her immediate relatives, the confidant said, is a career officer in the Israeli military and is open about the religious issue.

"We trust in God, and that those seeking to harm Bat El will get what they deserve," the confidant said.

ISRAEL:UPDATE ON ORTHODOX JEWS BURNING NEW TESTAMENTS

Deputy Mayor of Or Yehuda, Uzi Aharon at the synagogue, holding one of the Christian New Testaments and Literature Packages that were burnt--
Caught in the act...?

pjmiller has posted an updated story coming from Jerusalem involving the burning of New Testaments by Orthodox Jews here

This is rather lengthy so I’ll only post portions. You can read it all at the Jerusalem Post. (original story here:Orthodox Israeli youths burn hundreds of New Testaments
Deputy Mayor Uzi Aharon of Shas used the opportunity of speaking to the Post, which publishes a monthly Christian Edition, to apologize to Christians worldwide, saying he hoped the incident would not inflame tensions between Jews and Christians.
Following the publication of the story on Tuesday, however, many messianic Jewish and other Christian goups expressed grave concern over the increasingly violent nature of anti-missionary activity in Israel. continues at link above.

And, The IsraelInsider also is reporting on this burning of the New Testaments, with a slight twist to the story. In any event, burning the Chistian New Testament by the Orthodox Jews of Israel is very immoral, and I hardly believe the apology given by Deputy Mayor Uzi Aharon of Shas is sincere since the Shas Orthodox party of the Israeli government is part of the problem and endorses government sanctioned persecution of the messianics of Israel.

From the IsraelInsider

  • Israeli Jews burned copies of the New Testament in the town of Ohr Yehuda after its deputy mayor called for a purge of missionary texts following an accelerating campaign by evangelists seeking to convert residents to Christianity. Israel's daily Ma'ariv carried a front-page story Tuesday about a bonfire of the New Testament and other Christian texts held in Ohr Yehuda on Monday at the prompting of Deputy Mayor Uzi Aharon. A vehicle with a loudspeaker made its way down Nevei Rabin Street, calling on Jews to bring the copies of the new testament and other materials given to them by the messianic Jews for burning. Officials of the Shas religious party in Ohr Yehuda explained that missionaries are working fervently in the city. Aharon stated the level of missionary activities in his city is intolerable, with messianic Jews going house-to-house to distribute their materials. continued at link

ISRAEL: Messianic Jews Attacked by Orthodox Jews

What the Israeli government does not want anyone to know is their own hypocrisy toward Jewish Christians, known as Messianic Jews, in Israel.

The government of Israel claims to be a democracy and claims to offer freedom of religion to worship as one chooses in the State of Israel, yet personal attacks and persecution against Jewish believers in Jesus Christ has been going on for years by the orthodox Jews.  This article reveals the truth of their dirty little secret.

What many people are unaware of is the persecution taking place right now in the state of Israel towards Jewish Christians while the Israeli government looks the other way.  This is called government sanctioned persecution.  Even worse is  evangelical Christians and evangelical Christian organizations  who blindly  donate large amounts of  money in support of Israel through various Christian Zionist and orthodox Jewish  organizations; money that often ends up in the hands of those very orthodox Jews  who are persecuting our Jewish brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Let us pray for the unsaved of Israel, but let us not forget our precious brothers and sisters in the Lord in Israel who need our support.

Orthodox Jews Begins Talks With Christians

The Israeli Orthodox Jews  are to begin talks with Christians and this could have a profound positive effect upon the messianic Jews persecuted in Israel providing it is not connected with and sponsored by the apostate Roman Catholic Church and Rick Warren's purpose driven seeker friendly pluralistic UN religious agenda, which is to push for ecumenism to bring all "religions" into a one world religious system.

It is uplifting to hear of the orthodox talking in a civil manner with reference to the Christians of Israel after the recent New Testament burning by the Orthodox in Israel.  However, I think we need to take a wait and see attitude before making any final conclusions in light of the persistant persecution by the orthodox Israelis towards the messianic Jews of Israel.  Read about it below...

In an unparalleled historical development, a major Orthodox Jewish institution has announced its decision to begin theological dialogue and fellowship with Christians.

Shlomo Riskin, Chief Rabbi of Efrat, Israel, and founding member of The Center for Jewish-Christian Understanding & Cooperation, said that the center would help bridge gaps between Jews and Christians while emphasizing their common heritage and shared Judeo-Christian values that emphasize harmony, the sanctity of human life and dignity, and world peace.

"Both Judaism and Christianity have profound messages for the world and each must speak to humanity and to each other,” he explained.

The center will be hosting joint seminars for Jewish and Christian scholars and theologians on topics as diverse as salvation, messianism, and Jewish-Christian relations.

ISRAEL: Government Condemns New Testament Burning By Orthodox Jews

Time will tell if Israel means what Israel says. The Israeli Government must take aggressive action against Israeli State sanctioned and all  acts of discrimination and persecution against all messianic Jews within Israel and Christians in Israel and prosecute those orthodox Jews and anyone else who are involved in these type of crimes.
  • Jerusalem (CNSNews.com) - The Israeli government and Jewish groups have condemned as "despicable" the burning of hundreds of New Testaments by a handful of Jewish seminary students in a town outside of Tel Aviv. According to press reports, local Messianic Jews (Jews who believe that Jesus is the Messiah) distributed the New Testaments to new immigrants from Ethiopia in the town of Or Yehuda.
Parsons said that Christians worldwide would be watching to see how the Israeli authorities deal with this latest incident.Attorney General Menachem Mazuz asked police to open an investigation into Aharon, the Jerusalem Post reported on Friday. Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said earlier that police were examining the press reports and would decide on what course of action to take. More here

Messianic Community in Israel Lose Israeli Court Case Despite Evidence

Pray for our Messianic brothers and sisters in Israel who, despite all the evidence, just lost an Israeli court case that stems from what appears to be government sanctioned discrimination and persecution of its Messianic Community in Israel by the orthodox Jews from the anti-missionary organization, Yad L'Achim.

The case started four and one half years ago when hundreds of ultra-Orthodox Jews disrupted Pastor Howard Bass' Messianic Jewish service at Kehilat Nachalat Yeshua (Congregation Yeshua's Inheritance) in Beersheva. throwing chairs and assaulting some of the members, when on Christmas Eve day in 2005  the congregation had planned to celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah with a special baptismal service. But hundreds of ultra-Orthodox protestors crashed the celebration before it began.

Despite a heavy police presence, the rioting continued for three hours as protesters overturned furniture and harassed members, singing and dancing disruptively. A young member of the congregation caught some of the fracas on camera. Read More

You can also email the Israeli government and voice your dissatisfaction over the government sanctioned persecution and discrimination of our Messianic brothers and sisters.

I don't care where you live on the face of God's earth-- if you are a Bible believing Christian, you will be discriminated against, persecuted and hated for His name sake.  Israel is no exception.  Mark 13:13

MORE ON NEW TESTAMENT BURNING IN ISRAEL

Caught in the act...Deputy Mayor of Or Yehuda, Uzi Aharon at the synagogue, holding one of the Christian New Testaments and Literature Packages that were burnt--

The State sanctioned persecution and discrimination of Messianic Jews by the Orthodox Jews continues in Israel.
IsraelInsider News Media Trashes New Testament

The Christian Post
is also reporting on the burning of hundreds of New Testaments publically burned by Orthodox Jews in Israel. As I reported here, even though the Deputy Mayor Uzi Aharon of the religious orthodox Shas party has apoligized, I hardly believe the apology is sincere since the Shas Orthodox Party of the Israeli government is part of the problem and endorses government sanctioned persecution of the messianics of Israel. Actions speak much louder than words.

From The Christian Post

  • Following worldwide uproar, the deputy mayor who organized the Orthodox Jewish students responsible for the burning of hundreds of New Testaments has publicly apologized to Christians worldwide for the intolerant act and for any hurt feelings it might have produced.

The burning of the New Testaments last Thursday by yeshiva students was regrettable and unplanned, said Deputy Mayor Uzi Aharon of the central Israeli town Or Yehuda to The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday. Continued
In case you missed the latest news regarding this, the IsraelInsider news media out of Israel has given an open forum in their media to publically trash the New Testament, reported here.

Israel: Calls Increase For Bible Quiz Boycott

More calls from the ultra orthodox rabbis are coming out of Israel to boycott the International Bible Quiz.

From  IsraelNational News; today it is reported that calls increase for Bible quiz boycott.  For those who are unaware, Israel National News or Arutz Sheva is an ultra orthodox media out of Israel, and this story reflects a small taste of the kind of public verbal humiliation, discrimination, harassment, threats and persecution our Messianic brothers and sisters have to endure on a regular basis living in Israel.

This is a spiritual battle going on in Israel and the spiritual forces of darkness are once again attempting to shut out the light of the Gospel of Christ in Israel, and again a call is made for all Christian bloggers to unite in prayer and keep our persecuted Messianic family in Israel lifted up to God. As Daniel's Place (Reformanta Et Semper Reformanda) has written on his blog, "As whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it." I Corinth. 12:26

[quote]"In a letter to Education Minister Yuli Tamir, MK Meir Porush (UTJ) said that if Levi were to actually win the contest, it would be a “tremendous propaganda victory for this cult, and greatly aid their attempts to push Jews to convert to Christianity, both in Israel and abroad.”

Calls Increase for Bible Quiz Boycott

(IsraelNN.com) There is a strong possibility that at least some rabbis and Orthodox candidates will skip the International Bible Quiz, which takes place on Israel Independence Day, this Thursday. Several Rabbis, including Rabbi Shlomo Aviner of Bet El, have called for a boycott of the event because of the inclusion of a candidate whose family is said to have close ties to the Christian missionaries.

Other rabbis who have called for a boycott of the event include Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, chief rabbi of Safed and son of former Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, and Rabbi Ya'acov Yosef, son of former Chief Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. In response to a question from a resident, Ramat Gan Chief Rabbi Yaakov Ariel said that Bat-El Levi, the candidate representing the state secular schools, cannot be considered Jewish.

"A messianic Jew cannot be considered Jewish because he or she believes in founder of Christianity and has passed the dividing line between Jew and non-Jew They cannot be considered our brothers and sisters." he wrote“.

In a letter to Education Minister Yuli Tamir, MK Meir Porush (UTJ) said that if Levi were to actually win the contest, it would be a “tremendous propaganda victory for this cult, and greatly aid their attempts to push Jews to convert to Christianity, both in Israel and abroad.”

If the candidate was not Jewish, he wrote, she had no business being in the Bible Quiz, which “ is supposed to encourage the connection of Jewish students to the Tanach as the wellspring of Jewish observance and belief,” he wrote. Porush attached documentation to his letter supplied by director of anti-missionary group Yad L'Achim, which indicates that the Levi family are members of a “messianic Jewish church” in their hometown of Adam (Geva Binyamin). According to the documentation, the group holds its meetings in the Levi house, and the leader of the congregation is the candidate's grandfather.

ISRAEL: MESSIANIC JEW WINS SUPREME COURT BATTLE

Many of you who visit here are aware of the very difficult struggle and persecution believers in Jesus Christ, or messianic Jews, undergo living in Israel today from the orthodox and secular Jewish people from the many reports I have written about here.

Three years ago a bakery owner in Israel lost her Jewish dietary law certificate because of her faith in Jesus Christ. The good news is that recently it was announced that this messianic Jew wins the Supreme Court battle.

JERUSALEM , July 15 (Compass Direct News) – For three long years a Jewish believer in Christ struggled to keep her bakery business alive after the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, the country’s highest religious governing body, annulled her kashrut (Jewish dietary law) certificate because of her faith.

Pnina Conforti, 51, finally gave a sigh of relief when the Israeli Supreme Court on June 29 ruled that her belief in Jesus Christ was unrelated to her eligibility for a kashrut certificate. While bakeries and restaurants in Israel are not required to obtain such a permit, the loss of one often slows the flow of customers who observe Jewish dietary laws and eventually can destroy a business.

Conforti said that the last three years were very difficult for her and her family, as she lost nearly 70 percent of her customers. Read more at Compass Direct News

"Christian" Zionism Deception

I have a great love as well as burden  for the Jewish people and I have continuously supported their right to live in the land of Israel where the Lord has brought them back after two thousand years of dispersion from among the nations, and will to support this right.

Throughout my writings here I have stood by and with Israel and the Jewish people in their right to defend themselves against their hostile enemies inside and outside of Israel. As a medical missionary, I have taken the Gospel of Christ to the sick and dying Jewish people.

With that said, however, I cannot go against God's Word, my conscience and better judgment and blindly follow what I believe to be an unbiblical movement created by John Hagee and his followers known as "Christians" United For Israel, and "Christian" Zionism. I am also praying and believing that in the days ahead of us, those involved in this unbiblical alliance, more and more, will have their eyes opened to the deceptiveness involved in the "Christian" Zionist movement and will be convicted by the Holy Spirit to flee from the movement.

We are living in unprecendanted deceptive times and it is absolutely imperative that followers of Jesus Christ keep their eyes to the Holy Scriptures and not listen to a televangelist. There is no lack of deception and false doctrines running amok among those professing Christianity, and John Hagee's "Christian" Zionism is at the top of the list. Therefore, we must be as the bareans and search the scriptures daily to see if these things be so.  Messiah Jesus has not left us in the dark and he has given us everything we need to know in His Word for these last days.

It is incredible the deception that "Christian" Zionism has created. I was recently scanning a so called "christian" message board that advertises faith, fellowship, etc., that promotes the blasphemous Word of Faith Doctrine and Kenneth Copeland, along with "lovers of Israel", another one who advertises a "Christian" and Israel alliance but promotes "Christian Zionism" and discourages promoting evangelism and the Gospel of Christ for fear of offending a Jewish person, (huh?) and on this same message board I read where someone had written that Jesus was a Christian Zionist.

The Jewish Apostle Paul, who was a Pharisee known as Saul of Tarsus before his dramatic conversion to Christianity by Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus, persecuted the early Christians. Today we see this happening in Israel all over again by the orthodox Jews, the pharisees of our day, whom Jesus the Messiah rebuked and whom are living under the law of Moses,  without a Saviour. Paul went on to write most of the New Testament under the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Of great significance that John Hagee and his scantly veiled two-covenant theology has overlooked in pursuit of a personal political agenda (in the name of Christianity) called "Christian" Zionism and what appears to be a strong bid to hijack Biblical Christianity and replace it with Judiasm are the powerful words and teachings of Paul written in Romans Chapter 9 and Galatians Chapter 4 and 5.

I SAY the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,

That I have great sorrow in my heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.

For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen,according to the flesh;

who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all. Romans 9:1-5

The foregoing words of Paul tell of the anguish and sorrow he has for his fellow Israelites in their lost state without knowing Christ and having their sins forgiven. So much so Paul says that he himself would rather be accursed from Christ than to have his fellow Israelites who are still in the flesh and without Christ. Paul goes on to further explain:

Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. FOR THEY ARE NOT ALL ISRAEL, WHICH ARE OF ISRAEL.

Neither because they are the seed of Abraham; are they all children; but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; BUT THE CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE ARE COUNTED FOR THE SEED. Romans 9:6-8

Simply put, the Apostle Paul is saying that one has to be a child of the promise to be counted for the seed and just because one is an Israelite, or born Jewish and lives in the land of Israel does not automatically make that person a child of Abraham or God, or a child of the promise; or give the person a free ticket into heaven and eternal life; and without faith in the Messiah Jesus, one has no hope of heaven and eternal life.

Take note in vs 7 above where Paul writes "In Isaac shall thy seed be called," and vs 8, "the children of the promise are counted for the seed." Paul elaborates on these verses further in Galatians Chapter 3:16, where he clarifies

Now to Abraham AND HIS SEED were the promises made. HE SAITH NOT, AND TO SEEDS, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, WHICH IS CHRIST. It is very clear to anyone who has read this that Christ is the seed of Abraham whom Paul is speaking of, and not the natural descendants of Abraham or the Jews as Hagee and his "Christian" Zionist followers suggest and promote. A relationship with unbelieving Israel and Jewish people, according to Biblical standards, with all due respect, may produce a good friend and political ally, but will not produce the blessing of salvation. Only one's relationship with the Messiah Jesus will.

The true Israel of God Paul writes of in Galatians 6:16 is only found in a relationship with and service to the Lord Jesus Christ. The true Israel of God are the childen of the promise and are counted for the seed. These are those who believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ, whether Jew and Gentile. John Hagee's"Christian" Zionist movement politically supports secular and unsaved Israel and does not give unsaved Jewish people of Israel the Gospel of Christ, nor does this "Christian" Zionist movement publically support our persecuted messianic brethren living in Israel; even though, according to Scripture, the blessing of Abraham is Christ and the blessing is distributed by spreading the Gospel of Christ and standing with our Jewish brethren in Christ.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

There is neither Jew nor Greek (Gentile), there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

AND IF YE BE CHRIST'S, THEN YE ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED, AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE. Galatians 3:27-29

All Christians, as ambassadors of Christ, are commanded to bless the Jewish people by sharing the good news of reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ. The Great Commission of Jesus Christ has never been cancelled, but John Hagee believes and is on record for misleading multitudes by saying it is a waste of time to evangelize the Jews; the "Christian" Zionist movement, while it parades around Israel as "Christian" neither gives the Gospel to the unsaved Jewish people of Israel or publically supports the Jewish believers of Jesus Christ of Israel in the midst of their on-going persecution from the unsaved orthodox Jewish population.

This deeply bothers me. The Scriptures clearly tell us: "As we have opportunity, let us do good unto all men, ESPECIALLY UNTO THEM WHO ARE OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH." Galatians 6:10. John Hagee and his followers, unfortunately, do not represent anything remotely similiar to Biblical Christianity.
