Messianic Community in Israel Lose Israeli Court Case Despite Evidence

Pray for our Messianic brothers and sisters in Israel who, despite all the evidence, just lost an Israeli court case that stems from what appears to be government sanctioned discrimination and persecution of its Messianic Community in Israel by the orthodox Jews from the anti-missionary organization, Yad L'Achim.

The case started four and one half years ago when hundreds of ultra-Orthodox Jews disrupted Pastor Howard Bass' Messianic Jewish service at Kehilat Nachalat Yeshua (Congregation Yeshua's Inheritance) in Beersheva. throwing chairs and assaulting some of the members, when on Christmas Eve day in 2005  the congregation had planned to celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah with a special baptismal service. But hundreds of ultra-Orthodox protestors crashed the celebration before it began.

Despite a heavy police presence, the rioting continued for three hours as protesters overturned furniture and harassed members, singing and dancing disruptively. A young member of the congregation caught some of the fracas on camera. Read More

You can also email the Israeli government and voice your dissatisfaction over the government sanctioned persecution and discrimination of our Messianic brothers and sisters.

I don't care where you live on the face of God's earth-- if you are a Bible believing Christian, you will be discriminated against,persecuted and hated for His name sake.  Israel is no exception.  Mark 13:13
