London is holding a Global Day of Prayer scheduled for Sunday, June 13, seeking God’s blessing on Londan and the nation.
Prayer among brothers and sisters in Christ is always a good thing in my opinion. Especially prayer for repentence and prayer for revival. But God’s people needs to repent first before the Lord will bless them and their city and nation. England as well as America, once two great nations for the Lord Jesus Christ have kicked Jesus Christ out of their country in favor of false gods and a false religious system, and have linked up with every false religious fad going around from the name it and claim it prosperity Gospel, New Age, Interfaith and Roman Catholic Ecumenism, the fake Todd Bentley Lakeland Healing Revival, Toronto and Pensacolo Blessing, and God knows what else. These people need to get themselves right with God first before they can expect anything from God.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. II Chronicles 7:14In this article, the Bishop of Barking Rt Revd David Hawkins said:
“We want people to come in large numbers of whatever styles and denominations they’re used to, in a common accord to worship, to pray and to go out from that stadium determined to make a difference for our Lord Jesus Christ in our communities.”
Thousands of Christians from numerous denominational backgrounds will be attending this Global Day of Prayer event in London Sunday, praying for London and the country. But before they can make a difference for our Lord Jesus Christ, or revival to occur, they themselves must repent of their own idolatry. There is only one God and one mediator between God and men: the man Jesus Christ.
Yet the apostate Roman Catholic Christians pray to dead saints and Mary, who evangelicals will be teaming up with at the Global Day of Prayer-London event to pray with, and expect God to answer their prayers. Many Roman Catholics even believe that Mary is a co-redeemer with Jesus Christ. All of this is an abomination before God, and Christians need to be very cautious about whom they team up with.God warned the ancient Israelites to come out of Babylon in Isaiah 52:11, and His warning still stands today for us.
