MORE ON NEW TESTAMENT BURNING IN ISRAEL

The State sanctioned persecution and discrimination of Messianic Jews by the Orthodox Jews continues in Israel.

The Christian Post
is also reporting on the burning of hundreds of New Testaments publically burned by Orthodox Jews in Israel. As I reported here, even though the Deputy Mayor Uzi Aharon of the religious orthodox Shas party has apoligized, I hardly believe the apology is sincere since the Shas Orthodox Party of the Israeli government is part of the problem and endorses government sanctioned persecution of the messianics of Israel. Actions speak much louder than words.

  • Following worldwide uproar, the deputy mayor who organized the Orthodox Jewish students responsible for the burning of hundreds of New Testaments has publicly apologized to Christians worldwide for the intolerant act and for any hurt feelings it might have produced.

    The burning of the New Testaments last Thursday by yeshiva students was regrettable and unplanned, said Deputy Mayor Uzi Aharon of the central Israeli town Or Yehuda to The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday. Continued
