ISRAEL: BUSH TO VIEW RARELY SEEN ISAIAH SCROLL

Of Israel, God's prophet Isaiah prophesied "Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children." Isaiah 66:8. How timely for this Scroll to have been discovered near the Dead Sea area, as it coincides with the time of the land partition by the UN which created the modern State of Israel in 1947. I do not believe this is a mere coincidence. Precisely as Isaiah prophesied, the nation of Israel was born at once in a day's time.

The Isaiah Scroll, discovered in 1947 in a cave near Qumran will be on display for President Bush to see during his visit to Israel this week the Jerusalem Post is reporting. Isaiah's Scroll,the most complete Dead Sea Scroll ever found and dates back to approximately 120 BCE, is a magnificent discovery with its timeless message of peace, and is one of the most important ancient biblical documents ever discovered.
