God's Grace

"And with great power gave the apostles witness of the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all."- Acts 4:33"

If not for God's grace and the pardon He has given us all through Christ's atonement for our sins at calvary, we would all die.

A beautiful illustration of God's grace is written in the story when Moses brought the Children of Israel out of Egypt and into the hot desert, where they became thirsty but there wasn't any water around to satisfy the thirst of the multitudes. Then God told Moses to strike a certain rock (Numbers 20:11) and He would supply the water for the people. This is a perfect illustration of God's grace. The water coming out of the rock abundantly shows God's grace flowing to all who were thirsty.

God's grace is simply His power to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. He supplies all of our needs. Even though we deserve to die because of our sin, through God's grace, He has provided a way for us to live. He sent His son Jesus to die in our place, and has given us a "pardon" only if we accept this wonderful salvation that is freely given through God's grace. All of us are going to physically die someday and live eternally somewhere else.

Christ is the Rock that supplies the Living Water. He said "Without me ye can do nothing." John 15:5
