The Lighthouse is reporting some disturbing news about Calvary Chapel that there are concerns that Calvary Chapel is now embracing New Age mystic Leonard Sweet, who is usually connected to the emergent church movement. Apparently, Skip Heitzig invited Leonard Sweet to an event to be held at Calvary Chapel, Albuquerque in what has been described as the first official New Age/Ecumenical event to take place at a Calvary Chapel. This reminds me of when, in Scripture, the Apostle Paul found it necessary to rebuke those at the church of Galatia when he questioned them, “O FOOLISH Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?”
Are ye so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh.”
Is there anything left that is not being infected with anti and extra biblical doctrine?

I got a tip from The Lighthouse Website, who posted an update today on his blog that had a link to Calvary Chapel Albuquerque Calendar of Upcoming Events. I scrolled down to the 18th item and listened to the audio promo where "listen to promo" is displayed on the left. Sure enough, the horse is out of the barn. New Ager Leonard Sweet will be speaking at Calvary Chapel, Albuquerque according to the audio promo. Go to the National Worship Leader Conference, the 18th item on the events calander, and listen for your self.
