God’s Ways Are Higher Than Your Ways

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 55:9:
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

In our humanness, it is easy to get discouraged, especially if we do not keep our hearts and eyes focused on Jesus Christ, and His promises. In this quick fix, fast moving world that we live in, when we do not see answer to our prayers, often times it is just easier to throw in the towel and just give up, and forget that the Bible tells us that God’s ways are higher than our ways, and that God has a purpose for everything that is happening to us.

The Apostle Paul tells us in Galatians 6:9 that we indeed in due season, or God’s timing, shall reap the good fruit of our labor if we do not become weary, and give up. We need to remember that there are spiritual forces working in the spiritual realm during prayer that we do not see attacking the enemy, similar to any earthly covert operation that the military of any nation uses to defeat the enemy. God’s special army on earth  is made up of prayer warriors, ordinary people like you and me that he uses to raise havoc with the enemy forces in high places. So the next time you become discouraged, and don’t see any results to your prayers, remember that God is working behind the scenes, and at the same time teaching us to persevere in prayer during our trials until we have the victory that He has promised in His Word.
