From OneNewsNow, Tom McMahon says emergent church proponent Brian McLaren is ashamed of the Gospel of Christ... Galatians 1:8 is quite clear where the Apostle Paul writes "But if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."
The writer of Hebrews tells us that "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever." 13:8.God's prophet Malachi in 3:6 writes "I am the LORD, I change not."
God's Word or the Gospel of Christ, or Christianity is unchangeable no matter what Brian McLaren preaches or teaches, all Christians are to draw truth from God's Word and not Brian McLaren or any other man/woman who preaches another gospel. We must scrutinize everything we read and hear with God's Word concerning what these post modern teachers and preachers are telling us, and if it doesn't line up with God's Word, it must be completely discarded.

Brian McLaren recently addressed 650 Anglican bishops attending the Lambeth Conference, a meeting he says was characterized by "a loving atmosphere" and "a deep spirituality centered in Bible study, worship, and prayer." McLaren tells ChristianToday.com that he envisions a new era for Christianity, which "is more about the Christian way of life than it is about a rigid and polemicized systems of belief."
