Gilo Protective Wall In Southern Jerusalem Coming Down

Is the prophecy written in Ezekiel 38:11 concerning Israel living in a land of "unwalled villages",  at rest and dwelling safely,  taking place before our very eyes?  This is a very significant development in Israel that has received no mainstream news coverage that I am aware of.

While it doesn't look like to me that Israel is dwelling safely and at rest in their land because of rocket fire by Hamas from Gaza into Israel, the threat of Hizbullah attacks into northern Israel on the Lebanon-Israel border, and the threat of a nuclear Iran,  apparently, the Israeli government seems to think the Jewish people are dwelling safely and at rest  because  according to Israel National News,  on Sunday, the contraversial  Gilo Protective Wall in southern Jerusalem will be coming down, when the IDF begins to remove the wall, which means more  biblical prophecy is  advancing  towards the Gog-Mag War   as the prophet Ezekiel tells us that Israel must be living in their land with no walls, bars or gates in the verse below.

Gilo Protective Wall

"And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest and dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and have neither bars nor gates." Ezekiel 38:11
What I believe to be a very significant development  that must take place in preparation of the Gog-Magog War that I wrote about here is the removal of the separation wall, or barrier known as the Gilo Protective  Wall that was put up in 2001 to protect Jerusalem’s Gilo neighborhood from terrorists, when Gilo came under intense attacks from neighboring Arabs handed over to the PA under Yassar Arafat.

Gilo, in southern Jerusalem, is mentioned in the Bible. The modern neighborhood was established in 1971 on land liberated in the 1967 Six Day War. It grew steadily until 2001 and reached a population of 39,000. However, the punishment it suffered in the massive terror war often referred to as “The Oslo War” or “The Second Intifada” halted that growth.
