88,000 People Still Missing In Japan Earthquake

According to a Japanese News Agency, Kyodo, the official count is 88,000 people still missing in Japan's earthquake Friday.

Heartbreaking: While the death toll remains in the low hundreds right now (oficially), it seems sure to spiral much higher.

It's well known that a lot of people are simply stranded in the cities, including Tokyo, and in many cases the people are probably safe.  It's not clear how they're included in the number.

All we can do now is pray to God that the missing will be found alive, and His mercy will fall upon the missing and all of the people of Japan, and His love will shield them.
