CBS Reporter Lara Logan Incurs Brutal Sexual Attack By Egyptian Mob

What can be more dehumanizing for a woman than being raped and beaten by a mob  in a foreign land?

That is what happened to CBS reporter, Lara Logan, who incurred a brutal sexual attack and beating by an Egyptian mob while she was on assignment in Egypt this past week covering the overthrow of former President Hosni Mubarak.

According to the New York Post, and other media sources, "In the crush of the mob, [Logan] was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers.

During the brutal sexual attack, Ms. Logan’s attackers repeatedly yelled, "Jew! Jew!" as she covered the chaotic fall of the Egyptian President. (For the record, Ms. Logan is not Jewish  or American, she’s a South African native.)

The horrific incident came a week after the 39-year-old reporter was temporarily detained by Egyptian police amid tensions over foreign coverage of the country's growing revolution. Read More

While nothing can justify this horrible crime against  Ms. Logan, she  was thrown out of Egypt, and subsequently returned, knowing the dangers she would face, which was not the wisest thing to do.  A couple of questions to ask yourself is, "what really is going on in Egypt" and "why would a woman with a small child to raise return to such a hatefilled muslim country after being thrown out?"  Finally, what kind of mindset would lead this muslim  mob, portrayed as "peaceful protesting, jubilant protesters" by an anti-christ media  celebrating the fall of President Mubarak of Egypt,  and Ms.Logan herself  to do what they did?  In the name of democracy?

For the real, shocking story that the muslim sympathizing state controlled media in America won't tell you, go here.

We can only hope and pray that Ms. Logan, who is in serious condition in the hospital and  who has a husband and a small child, heals emotionally and spiritually from this horrific attack and gives thanks to  the Lord Jesus Christ that she survived in such a hate filled muslim environment where women and Christians  have no rights, and where this type of behaviour towards women and Christians is acceptable in an Islamic society.

Pray for her that the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, keep her heart and mind through Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:7
